AAA is a must have! I upgraded to the premium level from the classic without even knowing about all the extras. Even using AAA just for the DMV services and the roadside assistance only for years was worth it to me, but now i know the real value is the perks like rental car discounts, travel discounts, and so many others that if you take the time to search can essentially offset and in some cases even save you more than the cost of the membership. This location has usually been in and out in less than 20mins as a walk in every time, and with an appointment even quicker. They refused to provide services for me because my mother who is dying of brain cancer is not a member. I explained, I am the executor, the power of attorney and the beneficiary of a trust. The vehicle was purchased for my exclusive use inside the trust, and the service is for me. But they continue to deny me services because my mother is not a member, but I am. An, the joy of membership. I needed to renew my registration so I made an online appointment for the next day. I showed up about ten minutes early, went in and checked in with the receptionist. She acknowledged my appointment and sent me to a waiting area. There was a nice scrolling screen indicating who was next. I sat down and was called to the next available worker. It was at my scheduled time pretty much to the minute. I presented my ID and my membership card. With a pleasant smile she told me what I owed. I paid cash and was handed the new sticker for my license plate. Total time in store less than 20 minutes. Total time angry, bored, disrespected, or frustrated zero minutes. Worst insurance there is and low communication with the agents and their staff. Poor customer service and lack the availability help you and your needs but to answer questions. Also if you want a discount you need to get the membership on top of the insurance it self. Any other insurance I had had all the stuff included for cheaper. Thank god I am leaving because it's not worth it and above anything they raised their prices 70 percent more than other agencies. Last but most important they are not here to help you when you are in an accident. Do get a lawyer and do not sign anything without reading and understanding the paper work. Being a member of AAA, I was able to renew my car registration at this office avoiding the long lines at DMV. I walked in with no appointment and the wait was 2 minutes. The person was super efficient and I received my new registration and tags in minutes. I also took advantage of getting a photo of myself for a new passport. There was no charge for the passport photo. I think it might be a temporary thing as they are doing a membership drive for new customers or to retain existing customers. Either way, it saved me $20 and I walked out with my mug shot. I highly recommend AAA membership for towing coverage, gas, and other road emergencies. I've been a AAA member for over 25 years. I help out a blind friend get around by driving him around in his SUV occasionally. He is afraid to take public transportation or Lyft/Uber right now due to COVID. He needed to register his SUV, so I thought i could use my membership and bring him to AAA to use their DMV registration services, since it would be safer than him waiting in line at DMV. After waiting in line for 45 min, we got to the door and was asked what we needed to do. We told the lady car registration. She said that only one of us could go in. I told her he was blind, and then she asked us if he was a member... He's not, because he is blind and doesn't drive himself. She then gave us the option of him joining AAA since they offer more than DMV services (like travel and museum discounts. - (no one is traveling / museums aren't open right now), insurance, etc), having him sign the title of the car to me, or go away. We tried to persuade her to allow us to go because of his disability and my long time membership, but she wasn't even sympathetic. He wasn't going to join AAA to get his car registered, or sign the car over to me, so we left. AAA. I'm disappointed that a long time member, trying to help a disabled person is turned away. I never thought I'd take the time to write a review about my registration experience however, even with the current pandemic, this office is running a smooth ship. I stopped in at 3 pm on a weeks day, there were 4 people standing in the carefully spaces out queue awaiting their turn to be invited in. From start to finish, I felt completely safe. The staff did a wonderful job of maintaining a small number of clients inside, they sanitized each area after a person left. While I was being helped, the agent took careful precautions to ensure our safety. She was careful not to cross contaminate as she asked to see my Id and payment card through the plexiglass and keyed in my information by sight. When I needed to sign forms, I didn't have a pen so she gave me a new pen and did not take it back, she specifically stated "this pen is now yours". The whole transaction was quick efficient and made me feel safe and like a valued customer. The convenience of this service is well worth the membership fees as I was able to leave with my registration sticker in hand and not have to risk the wait in the mail from online renewal system or the torture of the DMV. I went through the AAA phone app to get a vehicle towed into a repair shop for service. In conversation with the driver, a man by the name of Terry Hansen, I mistakenly said that the "tags are out", when the registration is in fact suspended due to lack of insurance. He used this clerical mistake as an opportunity to tell me his company could be audited for towing an unregistered vehicle, but in exchange for $40 via Venmo, he would "do me a favor". I was unsure how to take this, so informed him that I did not have a Venmo account, and asked him to please come my way so that we could figure it out. Upon arrival, he was argumentative, aggressive, and rude. He refused to tow the vehicle after I refused to give him money via Venmo, and immediately after driving away, he placed a call to AAA, telling them I had swapped either plates or tags on the car in order to make the tow. A blatant lie. AAA believed this lie, and as a result I will be cancelling my membership with them as well. In short, a terrible customer service experience all around. I'll be informing Occidental Towing, and AAA via phone call, that their drivers are attempting to scam AAA customers. I was paying $200 a month to get called a liar, and NOT get my car towed, because I was unwilling to get scammed. read more

MIS-PLACED LOYALTY! Having been a member of AAA since 1955 - one would think they might value me as a customer. NOT SO!!! I have booked many a trip thru AAA for both myself & our kid s.NO MORE - as there is now a $40.00 per ticket fee attached. This is just the last straw for me. Previously there was a glitch in the auto pay system & instead of any notification or calling - they let me drive WITHOUT insurance for 3 months!! This was discovered when I went in to register a vehicle. While correcting the problem - I was treated with great disrespect!! I get the feeling they are like health insurance companies when you reach a certain age they don't want you as a customer any longer. That can be arranged & at much less cost. Whenever I've gone in the person at the front was courteous and helpful. 2. When a couple agents in the last two years forgot to cancel a policy the agent I talked with was very understanding and responsive. I paid $20 for the license ( I brought 2 passport style photos) This office was busy, but not too busy. Waiting time was around 5 min. Parking is tricky from Steele lane. If you need DMV service,, at this AAA office, you sit down and wait for your name to be called. Free Wifi while waiting. They offer free coffee but it comes in those non environmental plastic mini tubs. They take checks, cash and if their credit card machine is working; credit cards. Just a warning, cause when I was there one time, their credit card machines didn't work. Banks are nearby so it's not the end of the world. This is one reason you might not want to get there at the very last minute. read more

I used to hear alot about AAA insurance company, i was scared to check out because they give alot of services so I thought they should be expensive, I pushed myself today to check out, i met the nice gentleman there his name tim mooney, he started to gather the information, we ended up with perfect price I didn't expect it after all the services they give, it's about a $100 a month lower than my current policy which it didn't give me any of the benefits that AAA give , on the desk without a thinking time i go ahead and get the policy from AAA, Thanks Tim for your nice hospitality and for your assistant. "That's what I just said" (with a slight emphasis on "just") -- this is what Kim, who told me randomly that she was the manager, said to me, after I confirmed that I needed to get out of state registration from the DMV, after she listed off 4 different things I needed, it being my second visit, having to come back with something they told me I needed upon my first visit, and after calling before my first visit to ask if they could help me but being directed to a phone recording that stated quite clearly they could help me with what I needed. I told her I had called and heard the phone message saying they could help me with registration renewal and getting new plates. Then she demanded literally three times that I tell her "exactly" what the rather lengthy phone message said that I had listened to the day before, before coming in the first time. She continued to try argue with me about it and that I "needed" to tell her what it said. Firstly I already told her exactly what it said. Secondly, she can and should just call the phone number and listen to it herself rather than rely on someone else to repeat a lengthy phone message to her. Thirdly, you shouldn't be rude and demanding and accusatory and act like the customer has an obligation to tell you word for word verbatim what your phone message says.er 20 seconds with Kim, I was trying to find an excuse to leave, and I will *never* go back there.
