Small local vacuum store - we bought a Miele C3 at a good price. They service what they sell

I always did business with this company. The last time I dropped my vacuum cleaner for cleaning and 2 new filters. The guy said he would call next day for updates but never did. After a few days I called and he said it was ready next day after dropping off. I asked why I didn't get a call, and he didn't know what to say. I couldn't get the vacuum right away, so a couple weeks passed by and just this week I went to get it and he wanted $129 dollars for 2 filters and a cleaning that didn't take place. The canister was still dirty and the tools too, both brushes with hair and dust, hose was dirty and canister full of dust and insulation. So it was exactly in the same way I dropped and he said he cleaned himself. Really? That is what I call trying to rip someone off! He was dishonest, and lied to my face. I am very disappointed. I asked for my older filters and left the store. Terrible. Don't waist your time. read more

I called beforehand and spoke to the owner Ed. He was helpful and didn't try to overcharge for the repair-maintenance for my Dyson V8 cordless. I was coming all the way from coral gables so it was great to get it back quickly. I appreciated his finally SMS his son Jack was nice too. Called when our upright dyson only worked for the hose. Spoke with Ed, who was awesome, and we took it over right after. It's a cute little place, local business, nice and clean and didn't smell weird ...u know what I mean when u go into a service type place. They keep it nice. He inspected the Dyson, said he needed a couple parts, gv the price and when...how perfect! I did ask if worth fixing ...he's like absolutely...that the originals just seem to be made best. Locally owned, not a chain, been in same location since 1964. They are a "floor care service" that sells and repairs vacuum cleaners and they make keys. I'm an oldie but goodie that remembers when appliances and cars were made with real metal and not plastic... so today's appliances all have plastic parts that get brittle and break... I stopped in here for a vacuum cleaner part. Brought my "wand" along with me to make sure I got the right fit.... And they had my part. I can't tell you how many floor brushes for the vacuum cleaner I bought online, communicating with the sellers that assured me their product was the right one... Which they were not and had to be returned. Cost me 3x what I was paying online, but hey...... I got the part. It fit. I brought it home and used it. End of fiasco. I've been a customer here for over a decade. If only everything worked as well as AAA Vaccuum! They service and sell premium products at a fair price that's higher than online or big box retailers on purchase of products but AAA services the machines it sells. You can get an annual service like I do for my Miele which works like new after service. Great place to take your sewing machine for repairs. I have taken one of my machines there some years ago and they did a great job. So now I was having problems with a new one that I just bought and took it over there. It turned out there was nothing wrong with the sewing machine. It was all user's error. We have been doing business with this family owned local company for over 20-yrs. We had two very large dogs with very long hair that always clogged our vacuum or just burned it out about every 2-yrs. When we went to AAA and they showed us a vacuum that was commercial grade and we were in love with them and the new vacuum. !0-years later it gave out and since we are now octogenarians, we called them and they went out of their way to deliver a new vacuum that is just perfect! Local family owned and awesome. I called them to inquire about replacing my 6+ year old Miele that while still working, has seen better days. It's been through house reconstruction, dirt, dust, dried paint & plaster but still working. I lost my crevice tool over the balcony of my condo, and now the hose finally gave out. I purchased at AA so I called them and they gave me a fair price, changed out the floor tool to my needs and had it ready when I arrived so all I had to do was pay. Nick even carried it to my trunk! It was fixed very quickly. I picked it up the next day. The guy who helped me was so sweet that he brought the vacuum outside and put it in my car.
