This salon has really gone downhill since my initial review. The prices have gone up and the cleanliness has gone down. Was there today and was very specific about what I wanted 'keep them thick and arched' and the woman said she understood but the results say otherwise. I've gone here for a few years now. The entire staff is super nice and welcoming. I usually go to Pam for my brows, lip & chin. We've been working on getting them to match and grow-in for quite sometime. I don't let anyone else touch my brows but her because she knows what we've been working towards. Lip & chin I'm not as particular with who does those. But for brows grow-in and shaping, I get pretty particular & protective of. They're open 10-6pm all days and Closed on Sundays. Walk-in are welcome! if they're too busy to keep lobby area from over crowding, they will have you sign in with your cell phone number then call you when to come in from your vehicle. They are friendly, good at what they do and reasonably priced. read more

I have been coming here since I was freshly graduated from high school, which is years ago. Found them from a friend. I usually went to Runa. She was so kind and delivered with the best brows for you! the environment is nice and usually you can get in a chair quickly just depends on the hour you go. They are sweet and welcoming. When Runa left I didn't mind trying new ladies. However lately I have been disappointed. The lady I went to this past Wednesday was my second time to her. The first time she cut my brows and around my lip. It was awhile so I thought maybe this time would be different. Not the case :( it wasn't until later that night and waking up the next morning I realized she either waxed me to my raw skin or threaded it too hard. Either way she cut my lip corner and my eyebrow shape was not good. Somewhere when she was cleaning up my left brow she threaded a chunk off the right bottom lol smh I don't even know. But I will try to look for another place. The lady I went to wore glasses and usually sits the third chair. She is a "newer" face than the original crew. I miss Runa ! If you go wait for the owner. I love this place, I been coming here for over 5 years now.. I honestly feel like I'm family to them. All the Ladies always been kind and welcoming and professional at all times. I recommend their facials, I always said to them that they have Angels Hands. After the facial My skin feels great , smooth and hydrated. I give a 10/10 on facials. I've been a customer for many years and yesterday 6/10 when I came in I had a new girl do my threading. I've always have left satisfied with the services but yesterday the girl didn't do a very good job and I kept explaining to her that the areas being threaded was still not smooth and she was also rough. Today 2/21/20 I waited patiently only to be ridiculed by this establishment. Heed my warning. These ladies are racist, insensitive and disrespectful. They accused me of having the CORONA virus. Not only did they ask me to leave but they laughed, mocked me as well. Came to get my eyebrows threaded, it's only $7. My youngest daughter is a big fan, I prefer going somewhere else as in the past they have botched my eye brows, one time the lady threaded and waxed me leaving big welts and while threading very hard on my face which left my face very red, very sore and caused me to break out in big sores from her aggression to my face. This place is absolutely the best! All-in-one beauty shop where you feel pampered when you need to treat yourself to a nice little "me day"! Super cheap prices, but excellent quality. Popped in for a quick wax, which didn't hurt a bit! (They use a soft wax that is virtually painless) ,and ended up adding on eyebrow threading and a haircut and spent less than $50!!! Have worked with multiple people in the past who typically do a great job with eyebrow threading. Have had issues with other places that leave uneven eyebrows or fail to follow my bone structure/natural arch, which the staff has been great about trying to correct. Have not tried any other services. read more

I'm only giving them a 3 star bc I have been going to them for years but my last visit is unfortunately going to be the last. I try to go to the ladies who have been their longer, especially the owner but the last few visits I noticed the owner wasn't really helping anyone. It seems she only steps in when it gets busy. Not sure if they were trying to get people to test their newer techs out or what. I am all for going to new techs as long as you don't mess up my brows! The last two visits was a disaster. One lady cut my brow line and it took days for that cut to fully heal. And then when she waxed my lip it hurt so bad. Usually you pull the strip once... it took her nearly 8 pulls to get the wax off. By then I thought my lip was gonna rip off. To top it all off she didn't even clean the excess wax off my face afterwards. I got over that experience and decided to give them another chance because I've been going there for years. Now this last visit I went to another new tech and she took off a chunk of my eyebrow. I guess I shouldn't complain because she at least pointed out her mistake but that shouldn't even have happened to begin with if you know what you're doing. I just laughed because getting upset would be pointless at that point... my brow was already gone. Not like she can fix it and grow it back. Smh! I paid and tipped like normal because of loyalty but I made the decision that it would be the last time i go to them. Time to find a new brow spot. They are nice and it is a nice facility though. read more

I understand things and processes have been changed to make things safer with covid-19. Now you go inside sign in then go wait in your car. I signed in and sat in my car waiting for 45 minutes when I noticed people who signed in after me was being called inside before me. Not a good feeling. Especially when the older gentleman doing the waving in made eye contact with me multiple times. They didn't even try to call me I was just skipped. Probably not intentional but still that's 45 min of my day wasted. I have since found a nicer place closer to home with better and more services. I will not be back. read more

I used to come here regularly but I've been disappointed recentlyz6. Unless you have time to wait for the owner, mother or this other younger lady who usually is in the corner everyone else is pretty inconsistent with their service. I don't have time to wait for the better ladies which is harsh but true. Last time I went the lady was a bit harsh when moving my head from side to side. On top of that I have scars. Been here a few times and they seems to know what they are doing. Its a little scary on the outside, kinda of ghettoish but they get the job done. I recommend coming here on the weekdays b4 3pm Otherwise it gets busy. They have other services so check out my photo with their services and prices. I'm not local, so I've been here twice now for threading in the past 3 months. Came on recommendation from a friend. The ladies are all very friendly and welcoming. The prices are great for the threading services. I've never waited more than 5 minutes and they are done as quickly as I sat down. Signed up for their rewards system today, as I plan on coming more often while in the area for work related training. I'm excited to have a brow place in the Seattle area now! Just a heads up, they are NOT threading upper lips until phase 4... This must have recently changed because I had my upper lip threaded the first day they opened after Covid. They are offering to wax the upper lip instead, I am unsure of the differences in safety guidelines for threading vs waxing. They also are not doing the rewards program at this time. read more

Best place to get threaded, waxed, and a haircut! I've been coming here for 3 years now and they have great customer service. Also, the prices are amazing! They only charge you $10 for an underarm wax when most places are usually $20 or more. I usually get my eyebrows and lip threaded and under arms waxed and it only cost me $20 total. It could be busy at times, but once you've been going here as long as I have you know the best times to stop in. I definitely recommend this place for salon care. read more

Cmon ladies, if you've lived through the late 90's-00's, the period where extra thin eyebrows became passé and in comes caterpillars chillin atop your eyes. Y'all know the deal. Yes, this era has been a rough one. I've had my brows ruined one-too many times, to go back to waxing, or anyone/anywhere else for that matter. I've been coming here for over 5-years now. So far, I've had my threading done by Sara (wonderful owner!), Tanu, and Urmila. All three of them have been just incredible. Sara is so gentle, when I sit in her chair, I swear, I wake up to nice, clean, SYMMETRICAL brows! She's the proud owner, deservedly. The other girls I usually get, Tanu and Urmila are both brilliant and quite masterful, as well. This salon is full of awesome talent, as well as friendly, kind people. They offer a lot of services, mostly hair removal, which they're great at. Also, very competitive pricing!! But the point is this: if threading is your jam, you must come here!!! read more

I appreciated the service and skill, especially after having a few too many unsatisfying experiences at Khoobsurat, but - and this is a VERY BIG "BUT" - while I was in the chair, they were speaking to one another in their native tongue, which I don't have a problem with, but I very distinctly heard my technician say the words "Indian", "African", and "Mexican" (I am African American). I will not assume she was being derogatory, but I believe this was done in poor taste and it made me uncomfortable. Just my experience. read more

I've been going here since it opened & I've never had a bad experience! I used to get my eyebrows waxed at a couple different salons but ever since I've tried threading them here, there was no going back! I'm such a stickler when it comes to my brows. I've had experiences before where my brows were shaped too thin, cut off in the ends, the arch was too high, etc. All bad! I was so happy to find this little place. The ladies are very skilled at what they do. They make sure to give you beautifully shaped brows (best $7 you will ever spend)! Every now & then I also get the peach fuzz on my upper lip threaded, it takes a little getting used to sensation/pain-wise but it's not bad at all. They get pretty busy, so to keep track of who's next, they have a notepad where you write your name on when you walk in. You get called when it's your turn. I highly recommend! read more

I went to Aaina's about a week ago severely needing my eyebrows threaded. I usually go to a place in Seattle but my last visit there made me highly distraught with the thinness of my brows especially as they do not grow in as quickly anymore. Leaving Aaina's, I knew I had found my new eyebrow spot (even though I bought a package at the other place).
