Courteous and professional the whole time. I felt like I was in good hands. Spent 250 for the whole repair. The next day I had a clogged kitchen sink. Clogged at the big drain pipe where I can't get to it. So who did I call. Allstar again! Didn't even hesitate to call them. Aldo returned to snake that clog at the source from outside the house. He was fast and effective. 125 for that one. I'm very glad to have found Allstar. I like the professionalism and reasonable prices. I used to go with another plumbing company that worked in the area. These guys are crooks. I had them come out to replace a faulty water heater. They quoted $3,850.00…read more I also had him look at a leaky toilet and he quoted $880.00 to take it apart and fix it. Reluctantly, with the weekend close at hand and being disabled, I agreed to just the water heater. At that point he had me fill out forms on his cell phone to get started and go through their credit agency which he had me sign. Before starting the project, their plumber took me outside and showed me valves that he claimed were faulty and needed replacing or I stood a chance of bursting my pipes and if that happened the warrantee was no good. Unknown to him the valves were recently replaced by my gardener. I informed him he was only there to replace the water heater. Not 20 minutes into the project, having already disconnected the water heater he approached me and said he needed me to sign that I agreed to everything he was doing. I then asked for an itemized invoice showing me what I was paying for. He told me they didn't do that. I told him that it is my right to have that and legally they had to produce one. After several minutes outside on his cell to his boss he showed me a somewhat itemized version on his cell phone, very unprofessional. I noticed that over $600.00 was for a 1 year warranty on top of the manufacturers warranty. I told him I wanted to pass on their warranty. He told me that wasn't an option and after several minutes of discussion I asked him how much was the charge for him to pack up and leave. He said $195.00 so I got my checkbook and he said he couldn't take my check, credit card or debit card and I would have to go through their credit agency. What a joke! At that point, I told him to pack up and leave. During this whole time, the rep (plumber) I was dealing with boasted (more than a dozen times) that he was a professional and that's what I was paying for. The next morning a friend recommended A C Plumbing from Glendora. They quoted $1,850.00. They did a professional job and were very pleasant to deal with and even fixed the toilet.
