10/10 recommend. From the second we walked in, we felt welcomed. The chai is so delicious here. The food is outstanding. It has so much flavor. You can taste how fresh everything is. You can tell the staff truly cares about the craft of the food they serve. This place is definitely a hidden gem as we've been driving past for months and decided to stop in. So glad we did! We will be back.

Wow food so good! HIDDEN GEM Recommended by a random lady and I'm so happy she did. The spices the quality of the food. The service! They are so sweet and kind here. Get in while it's quiet cause once everyone finds out I'm sure the lines will be out the door

What a hidden gem! Tucked away in the back of a shopping center, I don't know that I would have heard about Aapka if it weren't for finding it on Yelp. I can't emphasize enough how excited I am to have an Indian vegetarian restaurant in East Cobb. The restaurant is really small inside, only four tables or so, so they do have a sign on the door asking you to call first if you're planning to dine in. My husband, who is a vegetarian and adores Indian food, loved the food here. We shared samosa chaat ($7.99), malai kofta ($11.99), and bhagara baigan ($9.99). Each item was full of flavor and portions were substantial, especially for prices lower than most Indian restaurants in the area. We're looking forward to coming back and making Aapka a regular choice for Indian takeout or a meal out.

Discovered this place quite by accident on Yelp. I would have never found it otherwise, given that it is in a small strip mall hidden (from the street) behind another building. I only had the pani puri, which was good. The chai was excellent. The service was excellent. I had an opportunity to chat with the owner for a few minutes. She is incredibly sweet. She reports that word-of-mouth has helped her business tremendously. I'm happy to hear this, because otherwise it would be hard to discover this place any other way given its out-of-the-way location. I intend to try more menu items when I return with friends/family next time.

I pass this Indian restaurant every day on my way to work and my way home. It's relatively new and I have wondered if it was good. Tonight I took a chance and grabbed my mom and we tried it out. My mom had the vegetable Manchurian and garlic naan. I had the thali and we both had samosas. Everything was really good. The thali was smaller than some I have had, but it was very reasonably priced and tasty. My mom loved her dish as well. There weren't many other people there when we ate but this place is fresh and good. We will definitely be back!! Also I thought they were veg only at first but they have a meat dish menu as well!

I am never disappointed going to Aapka Food Adda. Friendly faces and good food. Go try it out for yourself!

My husband and I consider ourselves vegetarian Indian food connoisseurs, and this food passed all the tests while adding the feeling it was cooked in a friend's kitchen with care. The owner is delightful and so welcoming, having us sampling some desserts while we waited. I told her halwa was my favorite and she went in the kitchen coming back with a sample she had made for her son! Samosa chaat was perfection-just the right amount of chutneys and yogurt. Paneer Biriyani was spicy, huge portion and delicious. Paneer butter masala had a scrumptious flavor, it was obvious this had been nurtured along as the spices were allowed to blend. The onion kulcha was one of the best I have had-not greasy at all and to finish it off we had raita that was rich, thick and delicious. Not the easiest place to find on Johnson's Ferry behind Montano's, but certainly worth discovering. So excited to have them just around the corner-we will definitely be regulars.

Hidden behind the Corner Grocery store at the less assuming end of Canton Street, you might think it's a front for an organized crime unit that's expanded its operations from Queens and into north Atlanta. Alas, the inside is exactly what you might expect given the outside - the walls are each painted a different color - a color that you'd be hard pressed to find at Home Depot. The ceiling is mustard yellow, the kitchens Christmas green, and one wall of a small boy's bedroom pale blue. And yes, stuffed in this small space of ambiance is four TVs coupled with three gambling arcade games. The front kitchen resembles the makeup of a hot dog shop, though it's all they need. There's an outside patio that's decorated quite nicely for warmer days. Overall, the interior is what you want out of a real South Indian restaurant. You know the food will be good. You'll expect nothing less. The cuisine itself is quite vast for this little shop. A full half page itself dedicated to specialty dosas. Entrees that are common and others you may have only heard on Tony's episode to Hyderabad. It's as legit as you can find in north Georgia, perhaps anywhere in the south for that matter. The faces behind the counter are friendly and they're quick to recommend their favorites. Overall, it's a culinary experience that hinges on the senses of taste and smell and comfort that sometimes gets lost in a north Atlanta sea of overpriced menus with subpar American tacos. The next time I'm hungover, this is my spot.

From filling water glasses to clearing used plates to checking in us- various employees interacted with us with grace and professionalism. My two dear friends and I arrived at 12:30 and we were one of two tables occupied and the , 15 minutes later, the restaurant began to fill. The menu is tidy and to the point. Most dishes can be made with tofu, chicken, beef, shrimp or lamb. We jumped on some appetizers to start and they were all winners. Of the three-Chicken 65, garlic naan with roti sauce, and Paneer Pakora- I don't know that I could pick a favorite. They were tasty, freshly prepared and wonderfully presented. I chose chicken tikki masala as my entree and it was a home run. The boneless chicken was floating in a spicy tomato based sauce with a slight swirl of cream. I wanted a straw for every last drop. There were a couple of times during the meal when I got wonderful whiffs of the meat and other items being cooked. The charred, fired smell was enchanting. The place is located on the end a small strip of stores. There was plenty of parking. (I don't think I noticed what the other store fronts did next door). Every phase took forever, but at least everything seemed fairly made to order. It was hot and fresh and pretty, if the taste lacked a bit to be desired. They were somewhat non-committal when I asked about gluten-free. The menu has gluten-free symbols in the key, but not one item was labeled with that symbol. They said that just about everything is gluten free, and they offered me a roti that they said was "whole wheat," thus gluten free. What?!?!
