Was excited to try out this new Indian restaurant in Marietta. When we initially entered, there was no one there to greet us, but there was one person who fell asleep behind the counter. We eventually got seated. I'm assuming during non-busy times you can just seat yourself. We weren't familiar with a lot of the items on the menu. I wish there were descriptions of the items. There are also several photos of the various dishes. However, it would be nice if the pictures were labeled so we knew what each one was. We ended up asking our server to give us some recommendations as well as identify the photos in the menu. We eventually settled on the Aloo Gobi, Coconut Fish Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, and an order of the Garlic Naan. I thought the Aloo Gobi and Coconut Fish Curry tasted great. They were very flavorful and portions were plenty. I was a little disappointed at the Chicken Tikka Masala as it didn't quite taste the way I was expecting. This is usually my go-to dish, so I've had it many times in the past. The service was good. We were checked on often and everyone was very friendly. They offered us a dessert at the end, and I have to say I loved it! I can't remember the name of it, but it was like a small rice pudding dish. Overall, I thought the food tasted great and the service was on point. Would recommend giving them a try.

Really happy with my visit here! The service was excellent -- friendly, quick, and very kid-friendly, which I really appreciated. The place looks clean and well kept. I tried the Chicken 65 and Chicken Tikka Masala, and both tasted very authentic and flavorful. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes next time!

Great new Indian restaurant! Service was a bit slow but the food was excellent. Started with the Aloo Samosas, and they were GREAT for an appetizer, crispy AND savory and flavors matched well with the sauces. For starters you HAVE to get the tandoori chicken, flavored and cooked to PERFECTION!! We also got Malai Kofta which was an excellent vegetarian curry that tasted great with their garlic naan. Our third starter was the goat biryani, which was just okay in our opinion- probably would skip on this dish next time.

Excellent service and great food. We had the chicken tikka sizzler, goat rogan gosh, mixed veggie avial, and cheese bullet naan. Wonderful. Highly recommend. Kudos to them for keeping the tv volume down, unlike so many bars and taverns where you can't hear each other.

The restaurant is in the back of the Montana's shopping center, so it's not hard to find but not visible easily from the road. The menu is focused on regional cuisine, fresh ingredients, authentic recipes, and the needs of their local customer base. Kay (the owner) told us quite about about her focus on Northern Indian cuisine, which is less hot, so this is a great place for beginners - especially on Saturday or Sunday when there's a buffet with a good variety of items and good quality. Their staff is well-trained and friendly. The gentleman who was working on Saturday took plenty of time to explain dishes on the buffet and was obviously well-aware of how the food was made. I can't eat dairy, and a lot of Indian dishes have cream, yogurt, or butter, but they had 3 dairy-free dishes on the buffet! I would have been totally happy with that, but he also brought me special vegan sweets because the gulab jamun on the buffet had dairy. We will definitely be back - I can't remember the last time I ate Indian food at a restaurant and felt great afterwards, so I'm really happy to have this local gem and want to see them succeed!

Hidden behind the Corner Grocery store at the less assuming end of Canton Street, you might think it's a front for an organized crime unit that's expanded its operations from Queens and into north Atlanta. Alas, the inside is exactly what you might expect given the outside - the walls are each painted a different color - a color that you'd be hard pressed to find at Home Depot. The ceiling is mustard yellow, the kitchens Christmas green, and one wall of a small boy's bedroom pale blue. And yes, stuffed in this small space of ambiance is four TVs coupled with three gambling arcade games. The front kitchen resembles the makeup of a hot dog shop, though it's all they need. There's an outside patio that's decorated quite nicely for warmer days. Overall, the interior is what you want out of a real South Indian restaurant. You know the food will be good. You'll expect nothing less. The cuisine itself is quite vast for this little shop. A full half page itself dedicated to specialty dosas. Entrees that are common and others you may have only heard on Tony's episode to Hyderabad. It's as legit as you can find in north Georgia, perhaps anywhere in the south for that matter. The faces behind the counter are friendly and they're quick to recommend their favorites. Overall, it's a culinary experience that hinges on the senses of taste and smell and comfort that sometimes gets lost in a north Atlanta sea of overpriced menus with subpar American tacos. The next time I'm hungover, this is my spot.

Most dishes can be made with tofu, chicken, beef, shrimp or lamb. We jumped on some appetizers to start and they were all winners.
