I've used Aaron Alan for a few years now and I haven't see a one ant in that time. We first called them when we got ants in our bed. I used them because they guarantee there service between regular service if you have a problem they will come back. I don't understand what the problem is with the people giving them a bad review if they say their work is guarantee you can call them back 10 times to fix the problem? If you don't have video you can't believe everything people say my dog groomer records his job and a lady gave him a bad review and he posted on FB the video, I watched it she WAY over reacted he did nothing wrong. This rating is not about the company's pest control service, it's about the way they solicit business. I don't mind companies promoting their services, but I do mind when the people distributing flyers have no respect for homeowners' property. The solicitor came through my yard instead of using the clearly visible walkway, trampling my newly landscaped yard, stepping on my succulents, and knocking over one of my landscape lights. He was so careless that my guest genuinely thought someone was intentionally running through my property and damaging it. Please train your solicitors to respect private property and use the designated walkways when approaching a home. I am a new, young, home owner in Riverside and this company does not care about their community, nor do they understand the importance we place on these types of services. I bought my home last year and during the process I was provided with an inspection report issued by Aaron Alan. Shortly after moving into my home, I called Aaron Aaron Alan to understand the report because it seemed a little incomplete but Pam pretended like she had no clue what I was talking about. I asked Pam if she wanted me to get the Structural Pest Control Board involved and she said "go ahead". I submitted a complaint to the Board and they quickly found them in violation. Turns out our house is infested with termites and this was no where noted on the inspection report provided to us, by Aaron Alan. The Board instructed Aaron Alan to repair all of the termite damage on our property and to fumigate our home, thankfully at no cost to us. Unfortunately, the company Aaron Alan hired to fumigate our home (Your Way Fumigation) subsequently broke various tiles on our roof. Also, the contractor Aaron Alan hired (Carlos Guzman License 901528) to fix the rotting areas around our home is the type of contractor you here nightmares about. The whole experience has been rotten!! This company is disappointing at the very least! Either the Aaron Alan company does not care about their community, or they just don't take their work seriously. If you've ever done business with this company I recommend you get everything in writing because Mr. White will try to resolve these issues through a "conversation" and Pam just doesn't care - leaving you with no leverage against their dishonest/lazy behavior. If you think this company has been fraudulent in their handling of your valuable property go to the the state, hopefully they can force this company to do their job right, because they are not doing what they say they are doing. read more

I have been using Aaron Alan for about 4 years with out any issues. Occasionally we have needed to have them come out earlier than expected due to a small group of spiders that like to make our front entry home but that is very infrequent, like 2 times and when I ask I always get someone out here as soon as possible to retreat Always nice on the phone and pleasant when the tech is here. read more

Do not use their services. They use to be a good company, but not anymore. The lady that answers the calls, is Rude, and does not know how to schedule correctly. I had there services for both my home and business. They would always confuse the services addresses. When I advise the lady, she felt offended and was rude afterwards. I thought I would give them 1 more try. She scheduled a redo for my business Saturday morning 9am-10am, I had someone come open the business, and nothing. No show. I called the office only to know that she didn't schedule it. I'm done with this incompetent company. I suggest, take your business elsewhere. read more

Bigger is not always better. They call before an appointment, they are helpful if I have to have them come back. I get mostly the outside done but every now and again have to do the inside too. She had done a little research and found Aaron Alan Pest Control and gave them a call. She really liked that Aaron Alan was a family business and not a large corporate company. I have a no soliciting sign on my door and was still left a door hanger. I called the company and spoke with Pam to ask why one was left when clearly I didn't want unsolicited business at my door. Her response was that no soliciting meant not to knock. So I replied with what do I need to put on the door to stop further unwanted soliciting? After a long pause she said "well I guess you can whatever you want on your door" - - - - seriously? It would be easy just throw the trash away and make a note never to use this company for any reason after this phone call and that is what I'm doing. However, they need to understand that in a day and age where camera door bells alert the homeowners of someone at the door. This is in fact just like knocking. Twice showed up without calling ahead of time, unlike the promise the owner made. Then did it a 3rd time. Then, the owner didn't even care. We called 'Aaron Alan Pest Control' because they had overall good reviews on Yelp, and we liked what we heard (more than the other 2 companies we called). Aaron--himself--answered the phone and listened to my complaints about our last pest control company...how they did a great job, but continually showed up without calling first, which meant nobody was home and the inside of the house didn't get treated. Aaron literally PROMISED that they would NEVER show up without at least one call 30 minutes before arriving. Well...it happened twice in a row, but we got a motion detection from our Ring doorbell once, so were able to get home in time to let them inside. The second time, was totally accidental that we happened to come home when the guy was there supposedly treating the outside. I say "supposedly" because when I pulled up he said he was just finishing the outside, yet he never got close enough to our front door to set off the Ring doorbell motion sensor, so he obviously did not do the entire outside of the house. This guy also stunk to high heaven of B.O., had one half of his dirty wrinkled shirt un-tucked, and didn't even have shoe covers with him to put over his filthy boots when he came inside to spray indoors. He also set a new speed record in spraying, and was done with the entire house interior in under 4 minutes--and we have a 2-story 6 bedroom house with 3,250 square feet, and a 3-car garage. Needless to say, our bug problem didn't even slow down after that treatment. After several days of noticing more bugs, I called to have someone come back out, but it was after 6pm Friday, so I got voice-mail and left a message explaining the situation--asking for someone to call me back to reschedule. Guess what happened...My wife called them the following Monday, because I neglected to tell her that I had called and left a message. They looked up our account and told her someone was already scheduled to show up THAT DAY between 2 and 4. Nobody ever called us, or emailed, or texted. So, once again, they were going to just show up when nobody would be home--remember...the owner PROMISED this would NEVER happen, and here it was happening for the 3rd time in a row. So, I called and told the receptionist to just cancel our service that we were going to use someone else, and she asked if she could have me speak with Aaron. "Sure", I said, "I would be happy to speak with Aaron." I tried to explain the problem, and Aaron interrupted me to tell me that an owner (or maybe it was a manager) was scheduled to come out that day to PERSONALLY do a "re-treatment". He obviously hadn't heard a word I said, because I emphasized that it was the lack of notification that was the biggest issue. He replied with, "But, there is absolutely no charge for the re-treatment". So, AGAIN, I started to explain that it wouldn't matter there was a re-treatment scheduled, because--once again--nobody ever notified us of the appointment, so there would be nobody home to let them inside. But, I didn't even get to finish explaining this because Aaron just started talking over me louder and louder, without listening at all. He was actually getting mad AT ME! When he stopped talking I said, "Aaron, you PERSONALLY promised this would never happen, and it has now happened 3 times in a row". I then told him we were done with their services. He angrily replied, "fine--you have 2 bait boxes of ours, when should we schedule to come pick those up"? No kidding, that was his reply...AND WITH AN ATTITUDE. So--right before I hung up--I said, "What difference does it make? You guys will just show up whenever you want to anyway". Bottom line: #1) The actual controlling of pests is not very effective. I don't know if it is poor quality chemicals, poorly trained technicians, or a combination. But, even when we DID get our house fully treated, half the time it was ineffective. #2) They don't give any notification of when they are coming to do their job. #3) Their approach to customer service is astonishingly bad...even from Aaron himself. read more

We have been having a constant flow of spiders and a few scorpions!! We have had this company come out in between services because of this issue. Recently when we called for them to come, the tech spent just a few minutes out front and then left without a word. The company was responsive in sending another tech out which was great. Here is my issue...we are continuing to have problems. Why am I paying for pest control if there are constant pests? When I called this morning & spoke with Pam, she was very rude as I explained my concern with her. I told her that despite our constant problems, no one has ever "inspected" our property to see where there might be a scorpion nest. She responded by telling me that scorpions are not part of pest control. When I responded stating that maybe I needed to find another company that could help with my concerns, she replied "great, so you would like me to close your account?". Umm, yes, yes I eould. I clearly am not valued as a customer by you if that is your almost immediate response to me. It is a shame that Pam is who they have chosen to represent them for customer care. read more

Very satisfied customer. I was having an ant infestation this pass summer so I called Aaron Alan Pest Control due their reviews on yelp. They gave me a good quote for service so I had them come out. Joseph the technician came out and did a very thorough job. He even stated that ,"If we still had an ant problem to call him back," of which we did. Another technician came out and did another thorough job and the ants were gone. I decided to keep their service and they do an excellent job. They sent me a reminder card through the mail then they call to remind us so we can have the gates opened for them, which they do every three months prior to the service date. Poor service ... Pamela claims shes the manager but what manager hangs up on you over the phone when speaking and not wanting to hear the truth?! . Poor service. We ended up going with another company and not only did they come pick up their belongings they took the other companies belongings .. what ever you Do not go threw them !! I've used them twice now. The first time was for big black ants and they were able to find the ant farm, spray it and I never saw another ant come in the house again-that was 10 years ago. Fast forward to 2018 and basically we had roaches and I have a newborn and although we haven't moved into the house I could not imagine us living in a roach infested house. With the move-in date quickly approaching I called these guys because I still had their cool magnet that they sent me in the mail after using them the first time and explained my situation, Aaron answered and was able to get Alan out the very same day to inspect the home for free! I met Alan at the house and you can tell he has been doing this thing for years, because he knew exactly what he was looking for. I told him I don't know what other pests are in the home, for all I know there could me mice, but Alan was able to determine there were none. Phew!
