Contacted my home warranty company to request a work order for my pool pump motor that would only hum when it was turned on. They assigned the request to Green 2 Crystal Clear Pools, LLC who sent out a tech to evaluate the issue with my pump motor. Unfortunately, I was out of state attending a family funeral when the tech visited my property. The tech contacted me after his visit and proceeded to inform me that a) the pool pump motor sent sparks flying everywhere when he turned it on; b) it tripped the breaker and c) was totally rusted inside when he disassembled it. His diagnosis on his work order said "...water damaged the windings causing them to short out." I was suspicious since it didn't throw sparks when I turned it on and my breaker switch box has a padlock on it. Therefore, not only did he not have access to the box but the switch was live when I arrived back home. Mmmmmm????? He then informed me that the 'water damage' voided the coverage with my home warranty company and any repair cost would be totally 'at my expense' to replace the motor. He proposed a new variable speed motor at $1,700 or a refurbished motor at $400. Fortunately for me, I had positive experiences with Aaron Pools (AP) on a few prior occasions and contacted them to see if they were still contracted with my home warranty company. Thankfully, the answer was YES! I then contacted my home warranty company and requested they send out Aaron Pools for a second opinion, which they did. Brent was the service tech assigned by AP. He contacted me prior to his arrival, which was within the timeframe AP provided, and he arrived as promised. Once on site, he attempted to start the motor. It only hummed but did not throw any sparks. Upon disassembling, he notified me that it was not rusted at all but there was a short between the capacitor and the windings, causing the motor to fail and the replacement was covered by my home warranty. Brent had to make multiple trips once he was able to diagnose the problems because he had to order parts. An additional issue surfaced during the repair. Brent contacted my home warranty company and had them add the additional repairs to the existing work order with no additional cost to me. Brent was incredibly friendly, informative, knowledgeable and the exact opposite of my experience with the prior vendor's service tech. Brent definitely went above and beyond in completing the repairs and representing Aaron Pools. This is my third positive experience with Aaron Pools thanks to Brent. Grateful for people like Brent who look to create positive experiences for the homeowner, which in-turn becomes great advertising for AP. I would not hesitate to recommend AP and Brent! Likewise, my experience with the prior vendor's service tech means it is highly unlikely that I would ever recommend them! Way to go Brent!!!!! read more

Aaron Pools was selected by my warranty company as the first company was so terrible with communication,scheduling and a mouth on the guy like a drunken sailor......BY THE WAY....That was Sunbright Pools....terrible.At that point I " refused " their continued service or lack thereof.... Enter " Aaron Pools " ...WOW....I was so impressed from the moment I spoke with Stephanie,Office manager about my situation....She is such a delight,smart,humorous and down right understanding and helpful...Thanks Stephanie,I have over the years as many of you dealing with customer representation,and to me,it starts on that first phone call,the communication,to me the heart of the company. She stated they would call back soon with an appt.for the techs to come out and they,the techs would give a 15-20 minutes heads up,which is important and they did just that. The main tech A.J. along with his partner David showed up,checked the leak in the bottom of my filter and told me they would get authorization from warranty company asap...and to top it off,said they should be able to be back that afternoon to replace it,which I thought was unusual response time........Well,WOW again,just a few short hours later A.J. called and said they were on their way to replace it,again with a 15 minute heads up....Fixed and up and running in less than 20 minutes......as a courtesy,even though I have a Pool service,A.J.made some minor adjustments in my pop ups,drains by a small tweek here and there on my valves and showed me each thing and why...... I could go on and on about my experience with Aaron Pools,but then being so long you may not read this review and I certainly do hope you do......its your pool and it needs the TLC of people who care. I recently had the displeasure of dealing with Alex from Aaron Pools, who was sent by my home warranty company to inspect and fix an issue with my malfunctioning pool heater. To say that my experience was disappointing would be a massive understatement. During his first visit, Alex conducted a superficial investigation and concluded that there was a problem with the heater but couldn't identify the issue. To my shock, he then submitted a report to the warranty company claiming that everything was in working order. This level of incompetence is simply mind-boggling. It's as if he didn't even attempt to understand the problem, let alone fix it. Frustrated by the lack of resolution, I called my home warranty to schedule another visit. To my dismay, Alex didn't bother showing up at all for the second appointment. Astonishingly, he had the audacity to submit yet another report, asserting that he had examined the heater and found no issues. This blatant dishonesty is not only unprofessional but also speaks volumes about the integrity of this so-called technician. It's clear that Alex lacks the necessary skills and diligence to handle even the simplest pool heater issues. His incompetence has not only wasted my time but also jeopardized the integrity of my pool equipment. I am appalled by the level of service provided by Aaron Pools through their representative, Alex. I strongly advise against entrusting your pool-related concerns to this company, as they seem more interested in producing inaccurate reports than actually addressing and resolving issues. read more

I just want to say thank you to Mike at Aaron Pools for actually fixing my problem without any hassle involved!! A little back story to my issue, I just bought a house and had a home warranty with it through Fidelity and when I moved in I couldn't get my pump to work correctly. I called the home warranty and they sent me EVOLUTION POOL REPAIR. In short, the guy was extremely unprofessional, rude, condescending person I have ever dealt with! He blamed my pump not working on high phospate levels and blamed my negligence for it being broken. Problem is I've NEVER USED THE THING I JUST BOUGHT THE HOUSE. Called the home warranty back for a 2nd opinion and they sent Mike out and Mike just got straight to the point and actually figured out quickly the pump wasn't broken at all, it just had some leaks in it and the suction valve was turned to off which I had no idea. He went through the whole pump thoroughly to make sure everything was fixed correctly and then showed me everything I needed to know on how to use the pump. I am seriously so impressed with his work I will recommend Aaron Pools to anyone any day. Thanks again Mike for the no bullshit attitude and getting my pump back to pristine! A+ Service! read more

We just had Aaron Pools (assigned by our warranty company, AHS) out to fix our pool. I had actually requested the call be given to Aaron Pools as they had been out approximately a year ago for a problem with our pool & we were totally impressed after that first time. Once again, they were absolutely fantastic from Stephanie who called to schedule the appointment & call the day before to confirm to Mike, the technician, who came out last year & this time as well (asked Stephanie if it would be possible for Mike to come this time again). Mike called the day of the appointment to say he was on his way. Both times he was earlier than the time window Stephanie gave which is quite impressive, as least to me it is. How many times does a repair service give you a time frame of 2-4 hours & after 5 hours you still are waiting. I mean really!! Both times Mike diagnosed the problem, had the parts on his truck & had our pool up & running in less than an hour. Stephanie & Mike are very courteous & professional & will never consider anyone else if our pool needs service in the future. Wish I could give them 10 stars!!! read more

I requested a service call through my home warranty company and they sent me a note on a Saturday afternoon that the contact would be through Aaron Pools. Since I placed the request on a Saturday afternoon I did not expect to hear from Aaron Pools before Monday. At about 10AM on the Monday, I heard from them and they told me that the technical representative would come on Wednesday in the morning between 8-12 but on Tuesday would call me to provide me a two hour window. Not only did they call me to tell me John would be hear between the hours of 9-11, they sent me a text to confirm the same. Today, Wednesday, John called me at 920AM and told me he would be here in 20 minutes. He was and went right to work and diagnosed the problem with the pump casing and plate and needed to leave for a while to pick up a new one. He did and returned in a few hours and got the job done. Not only is John an exceptional serviceman who is courteous and explains everything very well but did the job and he too had exceptional communication skills. I highly recommend this company and of course ask for John. read more

Have used Aaron pools several times over the last 20 years, I am very loyal and didn't think to call anyone else. Never had bad service until now. My pump motor went out with the heavy rains last weekend. Called Aaron's as soon as they opened Monday morning, They are busy, I get it. I am told they can't get to me until Thursday. Alex shows up to assess the issue (Did I mention needed a new motor). Says he will return later in the day to install. He calls and says they wont have my motor until the following day. I text him at 9:15 yesterday to ask if we are still on for the install?? He says if the motor comes in yes. After that, crickets, nothing, no communication what so ever. I called and text several times. I call the office twice and they are clueless as to if my part is in or if Alex is coming back. I am a week with stagnant water and guests due to arrive on Monday. Found another company to complete the job. 1 call and a photo of my motor and they are on there way. Aarons has lost a loyal customer and the referrals that come with him. read more

I called my home warranty company to see if they could send out a pool company to check out a noisy pool filter...seeing the weekend was approaching, the first open appointment was tuesday... I gladly accepted. The customer service was great on the phone accepted she informed me that they would call on Monday to inform me of time of arrival... as expected, she called and set a time and told me Mike was going to be my tech. Tuesday came, and mike arrived on time. He looked at the filter and could quickly determine which parts needed to be replaced. He informed me he would need to get them, but would return within an hour.. and he did.. he replaced a few parts, turned on the filter and then noticed my casing that holds the parts was leaking.. (unknown to him before hand) all the work he had just done, now had to be re-done because he suggested we replace the casing... he left to check another client, and returned and replaced the casing... Mike was professional, and Informative.... he went above and beyond and i will suggest him to others.. great job!! read more

If you are a female and are getting your pool repaired and have these people come out, I would be careful of Tyler because all he will do is stare at you when you're not looking and and he will say the most sexual things, And a note to foreigners he's has made it clear he hates them, He has said "I hate foreigners" his reasoning is because they don't "understand things". And he will also will just mark prices way higher for jobs he simply doesn't want to do, so if its a hard job consider going through someone else, The pool tech Mike will have absolutely no idea what he is doing, you will most likely have to get someone else to come out and fix his mistake because for some reason after being in this industry for so long he still cant do a job properly. And another thing most times when you get parts repaired and pay out of pocket or through the insurance they will reuse any old parts where they can so they can keep the new ones for other jobs, so really they're just screwing you over. We were having issues with our pool motor over the course of few months with motor becoming extremely more and more loud while running. We put in a ticket to our home warranty, Old Republic, and Aaron Pools was sent the work order. The appt was set for a couple days later, and Kelsey w/Aaron Pools was sent to our property. We were told ahead of time that the Technician would call to let us know when they were arriving. Kelsey called about 20mins out, arrived on time. She knew almost immediately what the problem was. (crack in housing that was allowing motor to get wet, which caused the loud noise). She took a minute to check with our home warranty to be sure the repair was indeed covered before she began working. All was good, she completed work in about 30 mins. She was very professional, and friendly. We are now working directly with Aaron Pools on a few other repairs and aesthetics not covered by warranty. Thank you Kelsey, and thank you Aaron Pools. -10, Aaron Pools is the worst!! My pool pump went out last night and my homeowners would only let me use Aaron Pools for service. My order was placed at 8am through my homeowners. My homeowners gave me Aaron Pools phone number so I could follow up. No call for service at 9am, 10am, 11am or 12pm. I called them at 9am and 11am each time they replied, "we answer the orders in the order they came in and I should be receiving a call soon". No call up to 1pm, so I called them. Because I was upset they took my call for the appointment and said, "the soonest time they had available _was a week out! This place is horrible. If I would have know they were too busy for this week I would have called somebody else at 8:30am not 1:30pm. These guys are the worst!! Do yourself a favor and do not come in contact with this company!! read more

I would just like to say that I have been using Aaron pools for many years thru my home warranty company American home shield and they are awesome . Mike Aaron the owner is super nice and will even come it to your home when you need him. They are always on time and very professional . I have had my pool emptied and cleaned 3 times. They fixed my pool pump and back wash valve this year . They have always fixed my pool when needed They do great work and will also recommend other company's if they don't do the work themselves , like Prado and Sons replastered our pool 2 years ago, they were awesome . By the way some of the reviews were flat out lies because Aaron pools do not replace or fix pool lights , they never have. I know this because I have been using them for 15 years . read more

If I could give negative stars I would My home warranty service sent the tech out he got the pool running for 15 minutes and it stopped he came back and then same the panel stopped Now they are REFUSING to come back. Are you Kidding me??!!! I called the company again now going on day 12 and they said they are coming out. I called the warranty service and they said NO they are not this is ridiculous that they are not communicating correctly and I'm sitting here waiting I give AAron a big SHAME ON YOU I'm forced to use who the warranty service uses and now here I still have no help. I pay for a warranty service and this is ridiculous. AJ is flat out the best repair technician I have ever had out to repair anything EVER! He was on time, he was knowledgeable, He was friendly, he was personal, he was professional, he listened, and he went above and beyond to meet our needs. He is a shining representative for Aaron pools and is the type of employee that every pool or spa repair shop should hope to have. He fixed my pool motor on day 1, he fixed one spa motor on day 1, and he called back like he said he would when he had a brand new pump (which we didn't anticipate) to replace the faulty one and had it all covered by our home warranty. I have had Aaron's Pools service out to do two different repairs on my pool equipment and they did a great job each time. The most recent was after a different pool company was assigned by my home warranty company and I was told my pool heater was bad and had to be replace at a cost of $3,200. I called Aaron's Pool Service to come out for a second opinion. Mike Aaron took ten minutes to figure out the heater did not need to be replaced there was a valve place in the wrong direction by my pool maintenance man. Mike turned the valve and it was fixed. Mike Aaron runs an honest professional pool service company and I will never call anyone else. Don't spend thousands of dollars or even one dollar because of other pool companies lack of knowledge. read more

We were assigned a contractor through our home warranty company that sent a technician out to diagnose a couple of problems with our pump, filter, and heater. The other company misdiagnosed the problems and stated the problems were "maintenance" related. I requested a second opinion and was assigned Aaron Pools. AJ the technician called when he was on his way, diagnosed the problems worked with the warranty company to get the repairs approved. He called back when he was heading back to the house to make the repairs so we could meet him to get the dogs in. He fixed the problems very quickly in 112 degree heat in the sun and was VERY professional. This company has all of my business moving forward. Great job!!!!! read more

Aaron Pools was sent out by my warranty company to repair my pool filter and the heater. Alex and Andrew were the technicians who worked on these items, and they did an excellent job. The pool is working great and they were super easy to work with - my schedule was crazy that week, and they handled everything. I especially appreciate their communication. I've worked with a lot of trades since buying this house, and good communication is hard to come by, and both of these guys went above and beyond to keep me informed. The office staff is super friendly and helpful as well. Hopefully, no more pool issues, but should one arise, I look forward to working with them again in the future. read more

Outstanding Service! I had a repair for a cracked pool canister filter bottom. Water leaking. Called Aaron Pools on Wednesday Night after hours. Spoke to Stephanie in Customer Service first thing Thursday morning to schedule a Service Call. Was promised 8-10 AM on Friday. Alex called at 8 am, and was at our home by 8:15. Diagnosed repair and went to get part needed. Alex returned within an hour and Repair was completed. Wow! Alex was Outstanding! Friendly and Professional! Stephanie and Alex are 2 of the reasons we would recommend AARON POOLS for all Pool-related Maintenance and Repair! Great Job!! Now we can enjoy our Summer Vacation and 4th of July Week!! read more

Alex came by today for a home warranty service call due to my pool pump was not working. He came by and found it was the capacitor. After he left, it ran for a while and it started to shut off. I notified him and he told me as soon as he was done with the job he was on, he would be back. He came back from his job within less than an hour and looked at the pump and found out the motor was getting hot. He went back to his truck and put another motor on. Pool pump is running great now. Alex is very knowledgeable and will walk you through any questions you have in regards to your pool system. Very professional and great people person! Thank you for your help. read more
