If I were new, it would probably be more like 2-3 stars. There's been a turnover of instructors, and they are rallying. While the new teachers are nice and putting in the effort, they lack foundational Pilates knowledge. Classes are similar to a spin class because instructors talk and encourage the WHOLE time. It ends up being a bit chaotic because people can't distinguish between the cheerleading, the necessary cues, or spring changes. Most importantly, the detailed form cues and corrections are missing. Classes feel rushed and lack clear direction on technique, which is the opposite of what Pilates should be. Classes can still be hard and appropriately paced. The cues and form are what makes Pilates hard, not rushing through moves. (Its also physically impossible to do a weighted low squat and a shoulder press within 1 second- let alone safely on a reformer. Why are we doing this?) It seems they all went to the same training class and haven't trained with different instructors so it's a problem across the 6-8 teachers I've tried in the last 3 months. If it weren't for Stacey and Caroline, I'd have moved to a closer studio by now. I hope the instructors undergo more training and are introduced to more than one type of teaching so they develop their own style. People are nice, and they are trying, but they aren't there yet.

It was definitely hard and challenging but that's what makes it so great. Loved the reformer class with Kemi. She's great at adjustments and encouraging the class individually and as a whole. Check in was super easy. There's an iPad on the wall and you just check in independently and pick out the reformer you want. Theres a nice big mirror the spans an entire wall. Lots of core strength and a couple of cubbies to place your things. Grip socks are not required but I wore them because safety first. Lots of pulses. Can't wait to go again and feel the burn and muscles spasm.

I only took the group classes, but I don't believe there were ever more than 8ppl, so you still get that personalized feel. You're also able to let the instructors know if you have specific goals and they will make modifications to your workout even while in the group class. The energy at the gym is so high you can't help but come in and be ready to work. Not sure if this is still a thing, but if I went during a time where my friend and I were the only ones there it was considered one of our classes. They didn't try to up charge it as personal training. All in all I really love this gym I only stopped membership when I moved and it was no longer convenient. Members and coaches, the coaches are a good group, lots of good energy. I found this gym from an old client of mine who used to live in the neighborhood and she always raved about all inspired. I think that alone says a lot about a place and the people that make it what it is and the impact it leaves on the community. They also offer group classes, have a sauna, cold plunge, cardio machines, showers if you're in a rush after your workouts and offer free parking as well!

He is able to tailor the class to your level. The gym is totally zen-all neutral colors and awesome music. Boot camp, trainers on site, full gym. Yada yada. Incredible selection of classes at all times of the day. If you're bored with your workout or need something you'll actually stick to, give Longevity a try. When laziness takes over and I want to quit- I can't. I always go back.

The Reformer Fitness Class is the regular Pilates class. Stretch classes are awesome but fill up fast so you might be waitlisted. I still haven't made it to a Jumpboard class bc those are always full. Classes are small and 45 min long. You prob won't lose as much weight just working out here and not modifying your diet and lifestyle but it's good for strengthening and toning so your clothes will fit better. The temperature is normal so not heated like at a yoga class. The instructors are awesome and make it a point to spread positive vibes. They have a perk program. When you hit a certain amount of classes, they give you a card for 15% off a class pack or retail. Every now and then they'll have a sale. Their app makes it easy to sign up for classes. They are a cashless business. They do a great job of trying to make this place safe for students. Instructors wear masks and there are cleaning supplies everywhere. Some classes do require you to wear a mask and are indicated when you sign up for a class. Overall, I really enjoy coming here and highly recommend that people try it once. Some members do not use lockers, leaving their clothes and gym bags scattered in the dressing area. Seriously, there are better gyms in the area.

Very patient and always gives clear instructions, which is also great for just starting out (but she will still challenge you for sure).
