It's a decent place to get breakfast although it's getting busier by the day. The prices are reasonable. The bacon is good. The biscuits and gravy are good. The pancakes are good. I have one small complaint about the omelettes. They are made in the form of a taco. The omelette ingredients seem to be cooked separately and added to the egg after the eggs are fully cooked. Decided to take a chance as this was the location of a couple long term so so eateries. I tried it because they had eggs Benedict on the menu. What a change they made to the space cute open and very clean even the bathroom. After 2 years in business that's something for Yucaipa. We both had eggs Benedict which was cooked perfectly with a nice sauce. We also split a half order of French toast and it had fresh fruit and the bread was really good. Best breakfast we have had in a long while! Service was awesome too. Can't wait to try one of the omelets as they looked to be cooked to perfection. A nice hidden gem! read more

Really disappointed. We went there because of the reviews on Yelp. My ice tea wad made with tap water and tasted horrible. I ordered steak and eggs and my hubby ordered a pastrami sandwich. My steak was awful. It tasted freezer burned and my hubby couldn't even finish his sandwich as the bread was stale and the pastrami wasnt edible. The waitress was very nice, the decor was nice, and the music was great. Unfortunately, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. We stumbled upon Abby's by checking to see what was around us on Yelp. The atmosphere is somewhat retro 50's diner and quaint. The food was decent. The service was excellent! My children enjoy fruits and vegetables, so my daughter was somewhat disappointed when her ham and cheese sandwich was just that, ham & cheese. Offering lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and mustard would've made her experience much better. read more

I've been to Abby's 3 times. Once I got a burger another time a breakfast burrito and the last time an omelet. I have zero complaints. The staff is friendly, the service is quick and the food is great. My family and I will definitely be back to try more of their extensive menu! read more

We go to Abby's for breakfast and lunch a few times a month. The food is great, but the wait people are always fantastic.

It's good food, but it's nothing special. It's clean. It's quick. It's decently priced. I've only had breakfast but I'd definitely be willing to try it for dinner. Staff will almost always walk around with coffee to fill up your cup so there's a plus. read more

Well my husband and I have been here three times in order to try different things. It's bright and clean and the service is excellent but the food is just okay. I think their breakfast menu is better than their dinner menu and you can have breakfast all day. I tried their famous corned beef hash and wasn't impressed. Food is your basic run-of-the-mill and kind of bland but it is a clean Diner and the service is attentive. I still think Patsys in Beaumont is worth the drive or Arthur's in Mentone are better. We are very limited in our choices for good food establishments in Yucaipa and I think this place should try to step it up a notch or they are going to have a problem when Corky's opens... read more

First time here and everything was delicious! Ordered the spinach and mushroom omelette with country potatoes and a sweet potato pancake. It was flavorful, good quality, homemade taste like grandma made it. The cinnamon butter with the pancake was so yummy. My hubby was very satisfied with his country biscuits and gravy with a medium egg on top. It's our new favorite place! Can't wait to go back again. read more

I love this place! Super clean and well decorated with historical pictures of Yucaipa. Staff is friendly and efficient! I also love the fact that they offer egg whites! My favorite is the omelette with mushrooms, spinach, and tomatoes. Plus, they have hash browns which are always done to perfection! You won't be disappointed! I love a good coffee shop type restaurant and Abby's is indeed a good one. This is my second visit and both meals have been just great. I've had their eggs Benedict and salisbury steak. I really like the variety of the menu and lots of the selections are again perfect coffee shop meals that have disappeared (in my opinion) from a lot of menus (Denny's etc). I look forward to trying some of the other selections. The really is good (for a coffee shop). My only criticism would be the decor is a little sparse especially in the front although the color is still inviting. The lighting is a little on the bright side also. Still I would come back here in a heartbeat and hope that others come try it out. read more

We ordered the breakfast sandwich, the breakfast burrito and the fruity french toast with strawberries. The French Toast was really good! The breakfast sandwich looked yummy and was tasty. However the eggs were tasteless similar to McDonalds. The breakfast burrito had eggs also and was very dry. I would ask for extra cheese and maybe salsa inside next time... My Book Club and I meet here for breakfast before going to Oak Glen The Apple Place. I recommend this place for a breakfast. The server was friendly and attentive, she recommend the grits, and they were very good ( I love good grits). The other ladies were pleased with the breakfast selections as well. I wish I could give 3.5 stars. Great service, nice diner feel, and the iced tea was fresh. I felt like the food was just acceptable, not anything spectacular. Maybe we ordered the wrong stuff, or caught them on a bad day, but the hash browns were overly browned, and they had a pretty heavy layer of oil beneath them, and the pancake was kind of greasy as well, like when you cut into the pancake, oil squeezed out. read more

Very clean and great service. Omelets were good, as were the potatoes (I had hash browns and my wife had country) The portions are not big, as I had read, but fair. I give 5 stars for service and cleanness but only 4 for food. It's just not that special to make me crave it. read more
