Staff is friendly and they have always done quality work. They have also helped me out at 4PM on a Friday afternoon. We've had our Ford Escape Hybrid, Hyundai Elantra and Ford Ranger worked on here. We've had work done covered by our extended service plan and they took care of all the paperwork. I trust them to give me an honest assessment of what the problem is. They have loaner vehicles which has come in handy once or twice. The price is a little on the high side and labor charge seems to be a fixed rate for the service regardless of how long it actually takes. That could work for or against you. I do recommend this place and will be returning if the need arises. read more

I had a headlight out before a big roadtrip. I bought a replacement and attempted to fix it myself. The day before I was planning to leave, I called ABC and asked for an appointment. They told me to come on in, no appointment necessary, and they would help me out. Which they did! As soon as I pulled in, hours later, they remembered I had called and went to work on my headlight immediately with the replacement I had bought. I was watching and asking questions because I am determined to be self sufficient. It took him all of 5 minutes, and he sent me on my way, refusing payment. I brought my car to ABC to replace one axle boot. I had received 2 separate quotes but I agreed to $190 for one new boot. I got a call later from Isaac who said my car should go to the junkyard and he knew someone who could tow it. I later learned that ABC had given my car away without even asking me or telling me about it!! They took the plates off and gave my car key to the towing company!! Totally outrageous!! My AC stopped blowing cold air and the auto mechanic I usually goes to did not have the machine to diagnose the issue. We have always taken all of our cars to the dealerships for repair. We have an older Ford Explorer that needed repair and this time we decided to find an independent mechanic. Fortunately, the first one I found when I looked online was ABC auto care. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was extremely friendly and we took our car there. Once we got there the staff was extremely friendly and introduced us to the owner. The owner Lee is an extremely nice guy and we felt comfortable right away. They fixed the car at the price they originally suggested and since I didn't have anyone to take me to pick it up, they delivered it to our door. No extra charge. PROS-Great place and owner. It's tough these days to find a reputable mechanic you can trust. Not only is the owner friendly, but they did a thorough job. Plus, ABC fixed a part of my car that was easy and fast for them, they did not charge me anything. This never happens. Dealer wanted to charge me @$125 for the same fix. I'll be going back here again. Angie's List also has ABC rated very well. CONS--Well, not really a con, but they are victims of their own success! It can be crowded there, so schedule an appointment because sometimes they are full. Would I go back? Yes....I hope I never have to, you know, because that usually means I have car trouble. Anders was amazing from the first call to ABC. I was in a panic because my car died on the freeway, my phone was on the verge of dying, I wasn't sure I was going to find a tow truck and I was new to the area not sure where to go. When I called ABC at 4:45 Anders answered the phone he explained that they close at 5:30. I told him my circumstances he offered to stay there until I got my van towed there. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get a tow, he offered to make a call and help me out. While I was calling my insurance company he was calling a tow truck for me. I was able to get my insurance to tow me but the fact that he was willing to help me out in my panic really helped calm me in the situation. I had my granddaughter with me so it made it a little more emotional for me. When I got to the shop Anders met me there and helped get my van settled in for the weekend. Amazing customer service. When they called me to pickup my van it actually ended up costing a lot less than originally quoted. Because Anders was so great and the service was so good. I on the spot schedule to take my daughters Camry in to be serviced. It's really hard to know who you can trust these days but these folks have my business until I leave Ventura...hopefully never. Thanks to ABC Auto Care for an honest assessment of my needs today. I came in for an alignment but my tires were so worn, they advised me to forego the alignment and consider new tires. While this might seem like an up-sell, I feel that it was a frank and honest assessment because they were offering not to do the alignment and let me consider my options, including thinking over a quote for new tires plus an alignment or just driving on them until I am forced to replace them later.
