We explained our needs, and with her knowledge of the products we quickly put it all together. We setup an appointment for her to come to the house. Everything was measured and within a few days she had a floor plan. We tweeted a few things (she wanted it to make sure it was what we wanted), and we signed a contract. REICO promises me the world as delivered nothing! I ordered kitchen cabinets from REICO, and then…read moreasked them to install my new Miele dishwashers. REICO charged me $600 for the dishwasher installation. BUT- the person who installed the dishwasher had absolutely no clue what he was doing. First, he told me that the wrong parts were sent. I spent four months arguing with Miele over this. Turns out- the right part had been sent originally! Then, the guy installed my dishwasher and in the process of installing the kickplate, knocked out the electrical wire. Miele had to come do a service call even before the dishwasher was installed. All in all, I spent SEVEN MONTHS before I had a working dishwasher.

The design people we met were excellent, and gave us the vision we sought (we had a general idea of what we wanted, and they ran with it to give us a complete vision). What surprised us, is that their price quote for the materials and services to execute on the vision. We got new cabinets, new stainless steel appliances, and new granite counters. They came in under our budget. The crew they sent in was fantastic. A group of brothers, they worked hard, and delivered craftsman level attention to our kitchen. They weren't just "banging it out", but treated us like it was their kitchen. I was really surprised, and really impressed. The huge surprise came just this morning, 2 months later. The new fridge seemed to be leaking water. I called the Reico shop to get a number for the Maytag service line (figuring it was under warranty I should call them), but the Reico guys came out in under 10 minutes, identified the problem as a simple cracked valve, replaced it, apologized, and told us to call if anything else goes wrong. These guys are awesome. Great product, great price, and 5 star customer service. I told Bryon (our Reico rep) that he could take pictures of our kitchen no problem, and if he wanted a reference to just say the word. He appreciated that and said I should just write a good online review if I am that pleased. No problem Bryon, this is my honest and heartfelt review. Anyone getting a kitchen remodeled should visit Reico. You will be happy with the results.

When we moved in our lovely new home in 2003, I was particularly fond of the massive soaking tub. But as time wore on and trends changed, it wasn't as en Vogue. And as much as I love a good soak, it took way too much water to fill. What I never loved was the base quality shower "box" with the cheap sliding doors. I so wanted to bring my bathroom into the current era. Last fall (2019), we decided it was time...and that we deserved it. Metropolitan Bath and Tile was great from the in-home measurement (great guy) to the selection of custom cabinetry, sink, tub, tile, and fixtures with help from Wendy and Alex. Our installation team was professional, respectful, and made sure to ask for input and explain as they went along. When I recall their names, I'll add them. They did excellent work and deserve to me mentioned! Our only snag was the new soaking tub was back ordered from the manufacturer. The install team apologized and tried to keep us abreast of the ETA as best they could. It turned out to be longer than we wanted, a few weeks of not using our bathroom while waiting. But when it was placed in and the flooring finished, it was perfect. With a little interior decorating by yours truly bathroom looks like it belongs in a destination spa. Their work isn't inexpensive, but you pay for quality and peace of mind. Sorry it's taken so long to post a review. Thank you to the folks at Metropolitan...and as their ad states bathrooms --it's what they do, it's all they do!

This will probably bother me the rest of my life. The job was done well but there are so many other companies that could have done the job for half the price. You are paying for sales people that hold your hand and a showroom to show you your options. Some people need this, I don't. My wife apparently did. My sister just got a whole bathroom remodel including all the walls removed down to the studs, new tub, glass door, ceramic floors and walls, double sink vanity and all fixtures. All for $8,000. Her job looks just as good for so much less. If you don't mind paying inflated prices, by all means hire this company.

Worst homedepot store and team! Don't go!…read more This is, without a doubt, the worst Home Depot store I have ever visited. Edgewood Home Depot, MD. I was trying to purchase an item from a locked display case, but the cashier told me she didn't have the key and had to call the store manager. After the call, instead of helping resolve the issue, she told me to go to Customer Service and find the manager myself. I waited about 10 minutes in the line at Customer Service, only to be told the manager wasn't there. After waiting another 10 minutes, the store manager finally showed up. Twenty minutes wasted just to buy a locked item. What made the experience even more frustrating was the impression that only the manager had the authority to unlock the case and complete the sale. Then what is the use of the lazy lady in front of the locked cage? It felt as though customers were expected to wait indefinitely for someone acting like a VIP simply because they held the key. The lack of organization, accountability, and basic customer service was unbelievable. If you're going to lock up merchandise, at least have a process in place that allows customers to make a purchase without wasting their time. This experience was unacceptable.
