I called the office to schedule a routine servicing of our system on Friday, I spoke with Amy at the office, she offered several options for services including a simple one time service or an annual program. We were able to schedule a tech to come out on Tuesday morning. Our Tech, Craig, was prompt, courteous, and professional even through the multiple questions I asked. He took a look at our system and the area of concern we had and he gave us the news we were anticipating (that our system is running but might not have much time left in it....it's 26years old) he offered to have quote for replacement drawn up if we wanted. (I did) he left us set up for success and he told us his goal was to keep us running into springtime at least....we appreciated that! After he departed, I called Amy again to arrange payment for today. She was kind and professional and let us know she would have a quote to us by the end of the week and even provided insight to what pricing is doing now and anticipated to be after the new year so we could be able to make the decisions best for our family. My wife and I paid the full price for a brand-new model, and while the delivery fee was waived as a sign of good faith, the freezer we received had clearly been diverted from another store. It turned out to be a display model, not new, and it arrived scuffed and slightly damaged. It's one thing to make a mistake; it's another to repeat it. This entire process has wasted both my time and my wife's. She even had to go back to the store in person and act more forcefully than she should have needed to, just to get basic service. The store manager responded as one might expect a corporate tool, proving difficult to reason with. It's not difficult to see where the shift managers get it. It took several individuals before someone finally took ownership of the situation. Thankfully, one decent manager stepped up, had the staff retrieve the display unit, and replaced it with a new one in the original box; something that could have easily been done on day one. Instead of resolving the issue from the start, the management offered explanations and justifications, without taking a moment to see the situation from the customer's point of view. For a store with a 3.5-star rating, I would have hoped for more accountability and care. Sadly, this experience has convinced me that this will be our last purchase from Home Depot.

I recently bought 3 tons of pellets at the spring sale as it is the best time to get them. When they called to set up my delivery date they said again I have to have a clear path which I do. Yesterday June 25th my pellets arrived and dropped in front of my garage the driver refused to stack them in my garage even though I had a clear path to do so. I had to pay someone $100.00 to do what was suppose to be done by your driver. When I finally got a hold of Tori today she said that they don't hand stack anymore and only bring them in on a pallet jack. That if I had wanted them hand stacked there is an additional fee for that and they only do that on a certain day. She also said that she tells everyone upon setting up the delivery that she informs people then that they have to have enough room for the pallet jack. This is a complete lie my husband is disabled and was sitting next to me when I ordered the pellets on speaker phone and when the delivery was set up a few days later. At no time did anyone tell us they are not hand stacked and that they are brought in with a pallet jack. Had I known this I would have never gotten pellets from your store. I would not recommend your store to anyone very poor service.
