ABC stores are the best shopping for souvenirs to take home to the mainland . I like their musabi spam rice . They are delicious just enough rice and ham. We always buy it before going to beach for a swim. They also have good selection of wines and beers too. read more

Love this place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and merchandise! When going to Maui first thing is the Spam Musubi... it's definitely a must have. They have half portions of the loco moccasin for breakfast, under the heat lamp. The eggs were delectably runny and perfect. Being a gas station, food mart, liquor store, and merch, this is my favorite place for a quick bite. Plus if you spend enough money you get free stuff like cups and bags!!!! read more

One of the better ANC stores as it has hot food, poke AND fresh fruits/veggies. Easy to hit $100 between food/drinks/souvenirs to get free gift...we always get the turtle mug. Minus star as prices are higher than the other grocery stores bc of the one stop convenience. read more

It is tucked in so you cannot really see the sign of the store from the road but this ABC is actually good size. It also has a deli and you can get a plate lunch made to order. Very welcomig staff and decent food. The Island Deli close at 5pm and the store close at 10pm unfortunately. Wish it was open till bit later. read more

This review is way overdue as it was from my experience last Oct of 2023 but it needs to be mentioned for the service that my girlfriends and I had received. We had made a stop here to gas and get some food before heading to the airport and at first we were a bit disappointed that they were out of the fried rice musubi. But thanks to DM (Dorothy Mae I believe is her real name) and her colleague they whipped up a few for us to eat and even more to save for later on our flight! It was such a nice gesture as they were ready to move on to the dinner menu and had to make the musubi maker all messy again! Ordered the squid luau (mini) plate. Can't complain about portion size v/s price (7.99). Plate was heavy, can't imagine how much food would be in the full order. Squid was perfectly soft and luau leaves were cooked fully. The only thing I can say negative about it would be that it was hypertension friendly. Needed salt. Took it home and added some sea salt and was awesome. Staff super friendly. Always a good experience when I eat here. read more

Did you even visit Hawaii if you didn't stop into an ABC Store? ABC Stores are basically drug stores without the real pharmacy. They might actually be super convenience stores. Anyways, ABC is typically my first stop in Hawaii in order to get settled. I always buy some bottled water and some basic groceries so that I can make some easy meals and have snacks for the beach. This ABC Store was stocked pretty well. The deli was a nice touch (even though I never ordered anything). The only thing that was somewhat disappointing with this location during my particular time in Kihei was that all the POG was past the sell by date. Also, the local 1-liter water bottles were out of stock for the last few days of our stay. It kinda sucked because I like that water and it's normally $1 for a liter. Before you spend a bunch of time searching for a mainland chain store for any flip flops, towels, lotions, pills, food, or anything check at the ABC store first. read more

Love the ABC stores. What's Hawaii without experiencing this place. Everything you ever needed from a convenience store and more. I find myself daily coming in for something or just to get my favorite after beach Cherry ICE-E. Now if you need some basic items for the beach they have it. 30 different sun blocks, beer, water and snacks. But wait there's more! Thank goodness for an ABC store when you can't get to any place for food or just need food at inconvenient times due to children etc. They have a good variety here and the store is clean for a gas station! I think the deli is pretty comparable to an average grocery store deli so the food isn't particularly great. The loco moco and the corn dog was very standard. I also got an Asian chicken salad and that was decent. I appreciate the grocery items including fresh fruit. No fresh coconuts though! The rest of the store is a bit more upscale souvenir shop with snacks, clothing, and magnets etc. Overall it's a good place to grab things to go when you're in a pinch. read more

Not sure how they manage to fit such a variety of items into one store, but it's worth checking out! You'll find a variety of souvenirs and gifts in addition to the typical convenience store fare. They have a mini to go hot food restaurant in there as well! We saw MANY people ordering all kinds of things like the prime rib moco loco. Grab and go hot (spam or chicken katsu musubi, teriyaki beef, etc) and cold items (salads, fruit, etc) are available. They have many drinks - both unique and traditional (Diet Coke next to canned boba milk tea next to guava flavored Bundaberg). We randomly found this place in Maui while looking for a Safeway to pick up some things. We ended up being able to find what we were looking for here, since they have a wide array of personal products, clothes, souvenirs, and trinkets. We actually did most of our souvenir shopping in one of the city center in Maui (near the Tiki Torch in Kihei), and kind of regretted not finding this store first, since the prices were much cheaper here. The great thing is about our earlier shopping was that we were able to support many more smaller business owners than just one big chain store, since as I found out later, ABC stores can be found through Maui and Hawaii. I am still glad I bumped into this place though, because it serves as kind of a good benchmark of the prices you should be paying for things. read more

If you're looking for something cheap and quick and happen to be stopping by for something else like had it's actually a very good stop. What makes this one different is that they have a deli in the store. They have a lot of other food options but the only thing we ever got was the Malasadas. I will first say that I love this ABC store. The employees are usually very friendly and service is speedy and efficient. BUT.......a couple of months ago the deli (which is excellent) started to close about 1 1/2 hours earlier than it used to, now closing at 7:30 pm. I thought at first it was due to summer and covid, but crowds are coming back and the customers are here again. Therefore, I was super dismayed and annoyed when I made a trip to get something from the Deli today and found the Deli Closed sign up at 7:12 pm and the hours on the sign said open until 7:30 p.m. The cashier said they have been closing at 7:00 pm. I would say "change your sign" but the store was super busy and I saw many people look at the deli, only to find it closed. You are losing a lot of potential business! read more

This Kihei store across from Kamaole One Beach Park has to be the finest of all 78+ ABC stores. Manager Conrad, Assistant Manager Mark and their team consistently provides the best food options (prime rib & beyond burgers) and a friendly covid-safe shopping experience. KULA produce supplies them with great green stuff. By being steady, open, and friendly, they are a go to for locals especially during these difficult times. Gas station sushi? Well, only on the islands right? Fantastic convenience store with more than you think could be in this small building. Every beverage possible, snacks, local chocolates, nuts, gifts to take home, swim gear, some clothing such as t-shirts. Most surprising of all is the kitchen. Great convenience store in central Kihei. It has the usual souvenirs and foods. But the highlight is the section with hot foods ready for eating. It's a great spot for getting some food either in the morning in the way to the beach. Or a late snack when everything else is closed. read more
