I went back to the store hoping to either return it or at least exchange it for something that would work. The cashier was actually very nice and tried to be helpful. She asked her manager about the return, but unfortunately, the manager was very blunt and came across as rude when explaining that because it was Labor Day weekend, they were not accepting returns for red tags. I understand that stores have policies, but not allowing a return or even an exchange on an item purchased just two days earlier because of a holiday-weekend policy doesn't make much sense to me. I would have appreciated a little more understanding and better customer service from management. I have always associated the Nordstrom name with good customer service, so this experience was especially disappointing. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this Nordstrom Rack.

According to her, this Pleasant Hill location had the best selection of the day--and judging by the crowd, plenty of others agreed. It was the busiest of the three stores we visited, and while that meant things were a bit scattered (thanks to customers leaving items everywhere), the merchandise itself was impressive. I spotted a lot of familiar brand names on everything from shoes to clothes to home goods. This store seems like a solid place to find quality items without paying full price. While she was happily exploring, I hung out near the entrance and ended up chatting with a couple of staff members. Even though they were clearly busy, they were still answering questions and helping customers with genuine smiles. It was actually kind of fun to watch. We wrapped up our day with a few more great finds. She was happy--and that's a win in my book.

There are three fitting rooms in the back that are covered with curtains. You can sign up for their membership with your contact to earn points on purchases and get notified for their sales, as well. Staff were also very friendly. Parking lot was decently sized, but if you come later, it may be a bit more challenging to find parking (some spots are designated for a nearby business and some are 15 minute only spots).

Are you looking to spend $68 on a t-shirt with a clothing company's name on it? Then Abercrombie is the store for you! They feature a variety of plain shirt's with "Abercrombie" written across the front. Exciting! Additionally they advertise with pictures of men who wear their jeans down around their crotch. It's like the white man's version of sagging. These pictures also tend to be in black and white and the models tend to make funny faces to the point that they look either high or constipated. But Abercrombie has not been without controversy. At one point they were sell so called "humorous" t-shirts on which were printed stereotypical slanted eye Asians wearing rice paddy hats. On the same shirt were the words "Two Wongs Can Make It White." Additionally, Abercrombie has produced sexually suggestive underwear and push up bikini tops targeted at girls as young as 8 years old. I guess what I'm trying to say is: If you want to support racist pedophiles then by all means shop at Abercrombie. read more

This place made me feel right at home! I was walking through the mall looking for clothes, and I swear everyone was letting the gloomy weather affect their moods! Not A&F! They welcomed me in right away, and everyone seemed to be in a good mood in there. I ended up giving them my business just because of their attitude. The 40% off clearance sale helped a bit too. The assistant manager, Angel, helped me find the sizes I needed and was able to recommend replacements for anything they did not have. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I was doing some pre back Friday shopping and happened to take advantage of some of the sales here. It was very easy for me to shop and find my items with not many customers inside. The girls working where friendly and asked if I needed any help and inform me about the sales that we're going on. Which was very nice because then I was able to pick out a few pretty cool items. I found a nice black jacket and nice long sleeve polo shirt, a t-shirt and a nice sweater for this cold weather. Overall had a very nice experience in and out of this store. read more

I love A&F. Yes, they are really overpriced, but I have never been diappointed with a purchase. Some of the brand reps are really snobby, but some are "nice" to you if they see you're wearing their stuff. Wish I was young enough to work there, I just want the discount. read more

I notice a lot of students working part-time throughout the summer, so they may have missed or misunderstood your question. As long as they're willing to check and get back to us, I'm fine with that. I only go here if I can't find what I'm searching for elsewhere, and that's generally jeans. One thing to keep in mind: Don't use curbside pickup (or at least right now). Their system does not handle it very well. I used it once and had to walk to the store after waiting 30 minutes for a curbside, so I know how slow their system is. No one called to let me know that they missed the order when it appeared on the system.
