My friend referred me here. My first appointment was with Samantha Pozza to get botox and lip injections. This was my first time getting these services done. I was excited. Samantha was very nice and professional. I have no complaints about her. My complaints are about the staff (especially the girls who answer the phone). When I was done with Samantha, I inquired about other services. I requested a brochure of services that was never given to me. I then inquired about facials, chemical peels etc. I had makeup on at the time. I was told I needed to come back for a consultation without makeup on. I explained to the front desk that I was coming from King of Prussia and preferred to get a service done during my consultation. The office manager made me feel like I was inconveniencing her because I asked her to take pictures of my face without makeup while I was there. I then made an appointment with Briana Potito. She explained to me that she couldn't help me because I had a small skin rash around my mouth. I scheduled an appointment with my dermatologist per my conversation with her. I emailed her, her responses came off like she didn't care. I was interested in doing a facial with her (due to this rash) but she told me it was best that I just cancel my appointment. I was about to spend over two thousand dollars with her. I also inquired about laser vein removal which is on your website. She told me the service was not offered in this location. Briana was helpful to some degree. However, I just got done dropping almost a thousand dollars in one visit. I expected way more from a service standpoint. I felt like just a number. On top of that, I drove from King of Prussia to get work done here. I was ready to spend another couple of thousand but didn't like the way I was treated. The icing on the cake was Nile Stutts. She is extremely cold and rude. When I called to cancel my consultation with Briana today (per Briana's recommendation) she didn't even bother to ask me why I was canceling or when I would like to reschedule. She was very quick to hang up the phone. I was so turned off, I decided to call back and cancel my future botox appointment. I totally regret dropping almost a thousand dollars here. Too many places that actually care about their clients. I honestly can't even tell I got botox or lip injections (which tomorrow will be a week). I will never do business here again or recommend anyone. Definitely not worth the money. People who pay this kind of money want to get treated nicely and feel good when they leave your establishment. Sheralton has been amazing! I came to him recommended by someone I highly trust. The first thing he did was greet me and ask me about my concerns. I've been extremely frustrated with my skin for over 10 years but over the past 3 years it's been a REAL struggle, especially with texture! Texture, sensitive skin, hyperpigmentation from ANY and EVERY pimple are my biggest concerns. He listened! His calm confidence felt like he understood exactly what was going on with my ethnic skin. I've been to several non-POC aestheticians and have always felt 1. rushed, 2. a subtle sense that they don't know ethnic skin, 3. & that their primary goal was to "sell" me on skincare and products. With Sheralton, I got the feeling that he really knew skin & that he was invested in MY needs (particularly as a black man). The other really impressive thing Sheralton did was take time to simplify my skincare routine. I typically just buy anything off the shelf that promises to fix my issues - but honestly, skincare and all the hundreds of products feels overwhelming. There's always something new and different that you have to consider. I am generally minimalist, but my skincare was not minimalist. And it also wasn't effective. Simplifying my routine has reduced my anxiety greatly. My skin has not looked this good.. really ever! At least since I was a kid, and I am early 30s. This was my first time trying lip fillers- I had wanted them for a while and after doing a ton of research had scheduled an appointment with about face skin care. I was very transparent with the person who came in for my consultation that I was nervous and she explained that someone would come in and explain the pricing structure and answer any questions I had. She then asked me if I wanted to get the fillers today and I said yes as I had done a lot of research at that point and felt confident someone would answer any questions I had before we moved forward with anything. The woman then numbed my lips which I wasn't expecting since I still hadn't been walked through anything but this was my first time so I was fairly open minded at this point. Two women then came in once my lips were completely numb and I told them this was my first time I was incredibly nervous and asked about potential dispersion in my lips and she let me know that yes that could happen. I told her I'd like to start off very small as I was nervous and she told me she didn't do half viles and the price would be 700 dollars. At that point I started crying because my lips were numb, I had already put a deposit down and felt like I was suckered into paying 700 dollars even though that was not the pricing or procedure outlined on their website. after I was crying and asked them to remove the numbing agent from my lips she told me she would accommodate the half vile and since I already had paid a deposit I decided to go forward with the procedure. the woman assured me she would call me in two weeks to check in as she could tell I had not had the best experience but its been a month and no one has checked in. safe to say I wouldn't return and wanted to post for anyone else who is looking to get fillers for the first time. read more

After months of ineffective standard topical acne treatments, my wife found "About Face" for my daughter's severe acne (gets her skin from me, unfortunately). We wanted badly to avoid long courses of antibiotics or the scary accutane, so our options for effective txments were limited. About Face combines gentler but pretty standard topical treatments with little known but highly effective lasers. My daughter's acne is 90% better. But be warned, it takes time- repeated treatments over months which end up being very expensive. But then out of pocket costs for standard acne care is equally or even more expensive- we have a high deductible insurance plan so dermatologist suggested topical meds would have cost us hundreds of dollars per month, accutane would have been similar. Now 10 treatments, 7 months, and 2k-3k dollars later, she looks much better and no harsh pharmaceuticals were employed so we are all very pleased. I am a physician (allergist) and while I do not treat acne, I often manage persons with lingering side effects from past acne treatments, mostly antibiotics, sometimes accutane. My brother is a dermatologist and I reviewed standard treatment options for my daughter with him in detail. After having dealt with side effects from usual acne treatments in my other patients - I am happy to have found an alternate but equally effective and definitely safer option for my daughter. I only wish they had locations closer to us (we drive an hour each way) but we all agree it is totally worth it. My journey with About Face Skincare began about 1 year ago, and honestly, it has been one of the most life-changing things I have ever done for myself. I have struggled with acne since I was a young teenager. I tried countless products, saw several dermatologists, and literally spent hundreds of dollars in an attempt to get clear skin, but all to no avail. I saw the positive reviews for About Face on Yelp and decided to give it a try. On my initial consultation, I met the owner, Naomi. Literally within the first 5 minutes of the appointment, she looked at me and asked, "Who in your family has rosacea?" I was so shocked and taken back, as my mother has rosacea. She felt that my skin troubles couldn't be attributed to just acne alone, but also that rosacea was playing a component. I am a medical professional and never even considered that diagnosis myself. I left the appointment shocked and surprised, but empty-handed, as I wasn't ready to commit to any products or treatments just yet. Fast forward 6 months from that appointment, and unsurprisingly, my acne hadn't changed one bit. It was nearing the summer time (interpret: makeup-free beach days), and I found myself finally ready to commit to About Face. I made another appointment with Naomi. She was so kind and understanding about my 6-month absence. I initially had 3 rosacea treatments. Even after the first treatment, I visibly noticed the redness in my skin disappearing, and the texture of my skin felt significantly softer and smoother. She also recommended certain lifestyle modifications, such as limiting spicy food and red wine, which can trigger a rosacea flare. Naomi then transitioned me to the care of Raelle for Isolaz. Raelle has been absolutely wonderful; she is so calming during the procedure (which can be slightly painful at times with the extractions), and professional. I also invested in About Face's product line recommended to me by Naomi and Raelle. The products are some of the best I've ever used, and are quite reasonably priced for their high quality. After 6 months of treatments, my skin has transformed. It is completely clear and acne-free. Sometimes I look in the mirror in the morning and I am still shocked not to find a pimple, because for years that's all I would see.
