Starting in the bathroom, instead of selling us his services, he told us honestly that we could fix it ourselves by purchasing a few items since they have a minimum charge that wasn't worth it for the bathroom fix. He took the time to walk us through how to fix it and why vinegar doesn't solve the root of the problem. He pointed out things from our paint to our bathroom ventilation issues that we should address. For the shed, he truthfully told us the cost of how much it would be for him to fix it versus us doing it ourselves or hiring some people he was training instead. I had a toilet upstairs leak through the wax ring and water poured through my ceiling in the downstairs bathroom. I knew I had to resolve the issue quickly as the water was contaminated and would cause mold issues if not dealt with quickly. I received a few quotes, but selected All Action. Alfonso scanned with the infrared camera, delineated the areas that were wet during the initial visit. They removed the wet sheet rock/drywall, wiped/sprayed all exposed areas with an antimicrobial, then ran the air scrubber/filter and dehumidifier for a few days.

The mold dog flagged all the places that were "remediated" by all action. The drywall with mold were all taken out but unfortunately the studs with mold were just encapsulated and painted over, therefore still exposing us to molds. I've learned that the proper way of treating studs is to remove and replace and if that's not possible, sand, hepa vacuum, antimicrobal and wire brush all the mold out of the studs. Unfortunately, we learned our lesson the hard way. Please be sure to properly vet your potential mold remediation company and understand if they do things properly and rid of ALL the mold. If you need your house to be medically clean of mold, steer clear from this company. They don't care about clients, they just want to get their foot through the door, get rid of the easy mold on the drywalls and not put in the hard work to really get the mold out of the studs. They will just cover up all the mold with white sealant and call it a day. Again we had an ERMI done two years later, which stachy and chaet still showed up. Learn about your molds, these are the baddddd molds. We then took things further and hired a mold dog & she flagged all the places we remediated. They're also not IICRC certified. As always, Proper Hour Home Services were very easy to work with and did a fantastic job at a great price! Our new fridge was too tall for our cabinet space, so needed to cut about 1 1/4 inches from top lip. We also had a long copper tubing run connecting filtered water to our old fridge ice maker. Since Lowe's installation doesn't work with copper tubing and requires a valve to hook up the ice maker line, we needed the copper tubing cut and a valve added to the new end. Ihor from PHHS came and did an excellent job on both tasks! He was able to detach the cabinet lip and cut it outside, so we never heard the loud sawing we expected :-). After installing the cut lip, it measured just right with a little room to space. He cut the copper tubing very cleanly after turning off the water main and installed and tested the valve he bought at Home Depot. Ihor also put down plastic before the work and did a great cleanup job. Our new fridge fit perfectly in the cabinet space and Lowe's installers had a very simple, smooth hookup of the ice maker line to the new valve with their ice maker line installation kit we bought with the fridge. We paid him $520 for a minor carpet repair and to clean two bedrooms. At first, they looked great but then we quickly discovered after he left that the carpets were soaking wet, due to him overwetting both carpets. The main stain we hired him for reappeared in a matter of hours. He also broke a picture frame that we had hanging in the house. Never apologized for that, never admitted that he did it and never offered us any compensation. (Funny enough, he didn't make me sign any liability form....) When I asked him kindly to return and help us sufficiently dry the carpets, he kept telling us that it was normal and that he wouldn't be able to dry them any more than they already were (which they were not). He kept telling us to give it 24 hours until they were completely dry. He frequently refused our phone calls (early evening) or flat out turned his phone off when he said we could call him at any time. He ultimately begrudgingly agreed to return to help dry them but only two days after he originally came (about ~48 hours) since he had another job lined up the next day. That put us at mold territory galore since the carpet was not in fact at all drier in 24 hours. We had to beg him to come out the next day at which point, of course the carpets were still wet. When he did come out, he told us we were wrong about the carpets having to be left dry (he said they'd be left damp...our carpets were far from damp in that they were soaking wet) and refused to honor his satisfaction guarantee on the website. He told us he wouldn't able to dry our carpets with his equipment. When I asked for our money back, he demanded to speak to my husband hoping that he would get a different answer from him. Nope. This guy overcharges, has no clue about customer service and really doesn't know his stuff about carpets either. You're way better off hiring someone else who has a ton of frequent great Yelp reviews. There's likely a reason he only has one review every ~6 months. You'll be grateful that you stayed away.
