Hailey and Jasmin are the best vet assistants' in the office. They were both very detailed in their explanations of recommended and required test and exams. I took my dog in for excessive pink spots, itchiness, and restlessness on a Monday and I was out within an hour in a half. My dog had skin allergies. The doctor was very concise in his diagnosis and explanation. The exam is 40 dollars. 250 dollars later, my dog's allergies are under control and we are beyond happy with this clinic.

STAY AWAY!!! Took my doggy in because she was extremely lethargic and wasn't eating for days, we paid roughy almost 500. The vet called and told me everything was perfectly fine with her, just to give her some anti nausea medication. My baby got worse throughout the night so I ended up rushing her to VCA where she was diagnosed with pyometra and had to undergo immediate surgery that same day. If I would've never asked for a second opinion, my pretty girl wouldve died. Besides the fact that he was extremely nonchalant when I spoke to him OVER the phone , he showed no interest nor concern over my pet. I also asked him if she had a fever and he proceeded to say no , when I later on confirmed that she did. Keep in mind I was asking because her body temperature seemed extremely warmer than usual. Don't take your pets here! I'm just glad that the vet at VCA was able to get her diagnosed and we had her in surgery that same day. And almost a week later I finally got my girl back today, after days of her staying overnight at the clinic to be monitored after her surgery due to the magnitude of the infection she had. Our bill was beyond but she's worth every penny. I'm usually not the type to write a yelp reviews unless it's a positive one but my experience with this place was disgraceful and I hope other pet parents are aware before taking their babies here.

Came back, it's not the same since you can't go in, but they are great about taking care of my dog. I've got to say two weeks later they called checking up on Maisie. I was very impressed with their care thank you

This place is absolutely amazing. I've been bringing my pets here for the past 16 years (for check-ups, shots, dental work, emergencies, etc.) and they've treated them with kindness and diligence every single time. The doctor here truly cares about animals and I can tell you from first hand experience that he will do everything possible to get your pet to its healthiest state. I've been to other vets in the past and many are good, but nothing tops the service, care and thoroughness that we've experienced here. The pricing is fair. Dr. Citek is honest, to the point and intentional about the services needed (or not needed). He follows up and answers any questions i have, always. I truly appreciate that.

This is my family's go-to-vet. We have 4 English bulldogs and a Weiminer/Doberman. So we're regulars. The vet is a down to earth animal lover. They've saved our dogs from eye infections, a case of mastitis, and an abscess to name a few.

Took in my 3 year old husky since he had no appetite and wasn't eating anything. My visit was on the 22nd of February and I paid for a blood exam, x rays, antibiotics and my visit. Spent $391 and still don't know what is wrong with my dog. I asked if I could hold off on the fluid / steroidal injections to see if he got better with the antibiotics and time. The vet told me to buy my pet chicken noodle soup, yogurt, honey and cheerios and if he didn't eat to come back for fluid injections which were another $93. I was ok with that option. Unfortunately my pup didn't take to any of those food options. I called back and asked if I could pay for the injections since my pup has to have something in his body for nutrients and entice him to eat. I was told that I have to pay for ANOTHER VISIT just to pay for the injections. I mean cmon, I just gave you guys almost $400 two days ago and you want to charge me another visit to give my dog something you had recommended on the first invoice?! Absolute fucking joke!

The veterinarian and techs at this clinic is so kind and gentle! They remind me of Dr. Dolittle, they literally talk to the animals as they are humans. This place was recommended to me for service and price, and I stand by it! We have taken our dog, and recently small Guinea pigs. Exotic pet clinics are very expensive, I was so happy to discover that Above & Beyond provide that service. My mom recently started taking her Frenchie for skin and coat problems. she was very satisfied and will continue going. Due to covid, you have to wait outside. But it's very professional and they do not do any services until they give you the break down in price, and speak to the vet. Your pet will be in and out!

We called Dr. Hwang's office, and the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and recommended that we bring her in. I was trying to rearrange schedules to get our pup in as soon as possible but couldn't make it until the next morning. A few minutes before they stopped taking walk-ins that evening, the front desk actually called me back to let me know they were about to close--just in case we wanted to bring our dog in that same day. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much. We ended up bringing her in the next morning, and everyone was just as friendly and welcoming in person. Dr. Hwang took great care of our dog, calmed our nerves, and clearly explained the injury and treatment plan. He was also very careful with the treatment given her age and followed up with us a few days later to check on how she was doing. We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Hwang and his entire team for the compassion and care they showed our 14-year-old dog. We highly recommend Dr. Hwang and his practice to anyone looking for excellent veterinary care for their pet!

I have waited some time to write this review to allow my initial frustration to settle down. I want…read moreto be fair and clear and share my unpleasant experience. I brought my dog, Gansito, to Grace Animal Hospital on 10/20/25. I was initially quoted approximately $1,300 for his exams, bloodwork and xrays. After that was completed, I was informed that he would be needing surgery for bladder stone removal. The office staff came into the room and on their tablet/ipad showed me the breakdown of the cost of his surgery. which was about $3,800 which was paid in full. Once i paid that amount, i was handed a receipt and was told they would be starting his surgery soon and they would call and updated me, I proceeded to go back home. About 30 minutes later i received a call from Grace Animal Hospital saying that I had been undercharged and that I now owed an additional $2,000. I was in shock; I had just paid a little over $3,800. By that point my dog had already been left at their office to undergo surgery. I felt like I was being held emotionally hostage knowing my pet needed care but suddenly being told i had to pay thousands more at the very last minute. How did the price go up in the amount of time it took me to get back home? I was told it was a mistake and the surgery itself was not $2,000, it was $4,000. I will be clear and say the veterinarian was kind and compassionate and i have no complaints about the actual medical care. But this kind of billing error and lack of transparency is completely unacceptable. If a mistake of this magnitude was made on their end, I do believe the clinic should have absorbed the cost or at least worked a payment plan with me instead of just placing that burden on the pet owner after the fact. I really hope Grace Animal Hospital takes steps to fix their billing practices. Pet owners should never be placed in situations where their love for their animal is exploited through poor communication and sudden financial surprises.

She does sleep with me and follow me around. I definitely give her the most attention because I am a dog lover! I definitely know how to communicate with dogs, Weather it from a wink or a nod, I get all their social cues . As much as I love her the truth is I don't know her history. The Housekeeper had told me a couple times that I needed to go with her to the vet. Telling me that the vet did not like her . I figured the vet didn't like the Housekeeper. That she was the feisty one. When we finally got into the office, Sister did not look stressed out at all. Most dogs get fearful. Not my Sister. I was told to put her on the scale and the nurse told me to hold her. I put her up there and lovingly cuddled her into my tummy. Be good girls, Sister. Next thing you know, the doctor comes in right away. He said I remember this dog. Let me get the muzzle. I realize at that moment I don't know if she needs a muzzle. This is a new situation for the both of us together. He repeated Maybe. I don't need the muzzle. Then I hear the nurse say doctor. Very seriously. You need the muzzle. Shocked, I looked into my sisters eyes and said Sister. Did you bite him she looked at me very seriously and blinker eyes which means. Yes ! Oh no Sister. I couldn't believe it. My sister is a bully dog. After the muzzle. Everything went smoothly. You just never know ! There's a morning session for surgeries. Then after 3 o'clock. He was taken in quickly and I was initially reassured, which helped in that moment. After that, most of the communication shifted toward costs, approvals, and payments rather than clear medical updates. I understand veterinary care is expensive and estimates are necessary. However, this experience felt far more transactional, especially in moments that required compassion. I paid about $517 for basic treatment (antibiotics, patient room fees, iv fluids, vaccines, cone, and fees), but no diagnostics were completed. I was quoted $1,000+ for x-rays. Feeling overwhelmed by staffs, I ultimately left and sought care elsewhere. At another clinic, my dog received imaging, was diagnosed with a broken rib and dental injury, and received full treatment for a much more affordable price. Beyond the cost, that clinic felt far more present and personal, and the experience itself felt reassuring and grounded rather than transactional. Thankfully, he is now safe and recovering. After posting my original review, the business publicly responded and asked me to reach out directly. I did so immediately, in good faith, hoping for clarification or resolution. I never received a response. That gap between public reply and private silence is part of why I'm sharing this. That, combined with the experience in person, is what disappointed me most -- not just the visit itself, but the lack of follow-through afterward. When a business responds publicly but doesn't continue that same level of communication privately, it raises concerns about sincerity and whether the response is about resolution or reputation.

My pet was seen multiple times and received blood work, a key screen, IG parasite panel, an ultrasound, and fluids with vitamin B complex for hydration support. Dr. Anna De Villa was caring and ultimately referred me to a specialist when she felt she could no longer help which I appreciated. She advised me to request all medical records. I asked for the records on Friday morning, and the front desk staff assured me they would be emailed within 24-48 hours. By Tuesday evening, nothing had been sent, and my pet's condition had worsened. I had to take him to the emergency room, where the staff urgently needed his medical records. I returned to the clinic and, desperate, asked for them again and explained the emergency. As I was leaving, one of the front desk staff who identified herself as Dr. Anna's mother stopped at the exit door, visibly upset about the tone I had used when requesting the records from Dr. Anna. She emphasized again that Dr. Anna is her daughter and Dr. De Villa is her husband and seemed more concerned about how I spoke than the fact that my dog was critically ill. I told her, "I don't understand why you're stopping me right now my pet is in the car, waiting to go to the ER." Her response shocked me: "Then let's go to your car." She followed me from the clinic door all the way to my vehicle, as though this confrontation was more urgent than the medical emergency at hand. It was completely inappropriate and honestly felt surreal. That moment made it painfully clear where the clinic's priorities were and it wasn't with the well-being of my pet. Pet emergencies should never be delayed because of miscommunication or personal bias. I sincerely hope they reflect and improve their professionalism and urgency in future situations. No pet owner should ever have to go through this.
