    My baby recovering.

I was so nervous didn't know where to take my dog, for an ingrown toe nail. I imagined I would be paying a ridiculous amount of money. So I'm so glad I ran into this place and read all the positive reviews. It's all true. With Adriana she is the best she made me feel comfortable with the procedure for my dog, and I was happy for how much I paid!!I'm definitely continue bringing my dog here for everything including grooming. Dr and Adriana really do care for our pets.

I have been taking my two cats to this animal hospital since I got them a year ago. It's close to my house so the car ride doesn't stress my cats out too much. The staff is kind and they genuinely care about the animals they treat. I will continue to take my babies to this vet because it's always a pleasant experience.

He was taken in quickly and I was initially reassured, which helped in that moment. After that, most of the communication shifted toward costs, approvals, and payments rather than clear medical updates. I understand veterinary care is expensive and estimates are necessary. However, this experience felt far more transactional, especially in moments that required compassion. I paid about $517 for basic treatment (antibiotics, patient room fees, iv fluids, vaccines, cone, and fees), but no diagnostics were completed. I was quoted $1,000+ for x-rays. Feeling overwhelmed by staffs, I ultimately left and sought care elsewhere. At another clinic, my dog received imaging, was diagnosed with a broken rib and dental injury, and received full treatment for a much more affordable price. Beyond the cost, that clinic felt far more present and personal, and the experience itself felt reassuring and grounded rather than transactional. Thankfully, he is now safe and recovering. After posting my original review, the business publicly responded and asked me to reach out directly. I did so immediately, in good faith, hoping for clarification or resolution. I never received a response. That gap between public reply and private silence is part of why I'm sharing this. That, combined with the experience in person, is what disappointed me most -- not just the visit itself, but the lack of follow-through afterward. When a business responds publicly but doesn't continue that same level of communication privately, it raises concerns about sincerity and whether the response is about resolution or reputation.

We called Dr. Hwang's office, and the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and recommended that we bring her in. I was trying to rearrange schedules to get our pup in as soon as possible but couldn't make it until the next morning. A few minutes before they stopped taking walk-ins that evening, the front desk actually called me back to let me know they were about to close--just in case we wanted to bring our dog in that same day. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much. We ended up bringing her in the next morning, and everyone was just as friendly and welcoming in person. Dr. Hwang took great care of our dog, calmed our nerves, and clearly explained the injury and treatment plan. He was also very careful with the treatment given her age and followed up with us a few days later to check on how she was doing. We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Hwang and his entire team for the compassion and care they showed our 14-year-old dog. We highly recommend Dr. Hwang and his practice to anyone looking for excellent veterinary care for their pet!

I brought my dog, Gansito, to Grace Animal Hospital on 10/20/25. I was initially quoted approximately $1,300 for his exams, bloodwork and xrays. After that was completed, I was informed that he would be needing surgery for bladder stone removal. The office staff came into the room and on their tablet/ipad showed me the breakdown of the cost of his surgery. which was about $3,800 which was paid in full. Once i paid that amount, i was handed a receipt and was told they would be starting his surgery soon and they would call and updated me, I proceeded to go back home. About 30 minutes later i received a call from Grace Animal Hospital saying that I had been undercharged and that I now owed an additional $2,000. I was in shock; I had just paid a little over $3,800. By that point my dog had already been left at their office to undergo surgery. I felt like I was being held emotionally hostage knowing my pet needed care but suddenly being told i had to pay thousands more at the very last minute. How did the price go up in the amount of time it took me to get back home? I was told it was a mistake and the surgery itself was not $2,000, it was $4,000. I will be clear and say the veterinarian was kind and compassionate and i have no complaints about the actual medical care. But this kind of billing error and lack of transparency is completely unacceptable. If a mistake of this magnitude was made on their end, I do believe the clinic should have absorbed the cost or at least worked a payment plan with me instead of just placing that burden on the pet owner after the fact. I really hope Grace Animal Hospital takes steps to fix their billing practices. Pet owners should never be placed in situations where their love for their animal is exploited through poor communication and sudden financial surprises.

He has great compassion & expertise in his field. I really like him. However, getting an appointment is pretty much impossible the same month. You can go in a as walk in, but I must warn you, you will spend hours waiting. Even when you have an appointment, you must first text the number on the window to let the office staff know your in the parking lot. Then in turn, even if you have a time scheduled appointment, you must wait in your car to be asked in. Sometimes more than a half hour later. I wish they had a better system, it's very uncomfortable for an animal having to wait so long to be seen, not to mention the inconvenience to the human. I have tried the drop off system in the past too. I dropped my dog off at 9:00am and by 3:00pm she had not even been examined! They have plenty of staff members on site, so I'm confused as to why the delay when the dog has been there all day! Because of the overbooking or walk ins may take priority (even if not an emergency) has led me to seek other alternatives. The additional cost out weigh my anxiety & frustrations when my dog needs help. I leave this review to help others make up their own minds. I'm sorry to say good bye, but care is needed to address these problems.

He had localized cancer in one limb and we chose amputation and he lived happily for years with careful follow up within this clinic and was put down with compassion and love when his time came to cross the rainbow bridge. We were mailed a note from staff along with his cremation which we still have. I brought my now senior cat (17 years old) here and did not feel the same kindness and I'm very disappointed and miss the previous team. I was informed we're starting with blood work but his symptoms may indicate neurological up to and including a brain tumor. I do not disagree with this assessment or recommendations as I work in the medical field and brought him in for these concerns. With that said, there is a way to deliver this information with kindness (as I previously received by Dr Gambles practice for my other cat) that was not delivered today. I inquired prior to my appointment if it would have to be a drop off appointment and they said no, exams are with the pet parent present however my cat needed blood work. Feisty as he is, he would need sedation. This sedation I was told was only gas. I'm certainly aware this does not require hours of recovery but I understand the need for drop off. However, I was told they would call me when pickup is ready and I told the tech I need some time frame. I was informed it would be 6+ hours "because we have other clients". I could understand if the rational was sedation for a period of time, but to keep my cat, in distress for being at the vet, for 6+ hours for blood work due to other clients when I made an appt discussing my concerns before coming seems excessive. Upon my question for this concern my cat was just brought out to me. I appreciate this as I do not want my cat in care where his time isn't considered as my main concern is his comfort especially in his age and condition. Overall, I won't be returning. I'm very disappointed in the care that has changed at this clinic. This is not the care that would have ever been delivered with Dr Gamble. **follow up, my cat had an appt with a different clinic and got blood work twice with me present in the room. He was treated with compassion which led to him being compliant without sedation. Additionally, the vet heard a heart murmur that was not discussed at the conclusion of this previous vet assessment. This makes me question the thoroughness of the assessment and the need for sedation as I was not present when they stated they attempted blood work.
