Unfortunately the dryer was old and there was not a replacement computer board, they offered to send my existing computer board for repair. I was worried about the time it would take, but it just took a couple of days. They came right back and installed it very quickly. They evaluated the problem on a Friday and they've returned on Monday with the fixed board. There is a three month parts and labor warranty that comes with the service. They were solution, oriented, and problem solvers. They were very respectful of my space. And they were neat and tidy. Also very friendly. I would highly recommend this company. They also enlarged one of my return air vents to meet the higher airflow needs of the new HVAC system. The work required widening the opening in the ceiling and installing a new return grille. The new system is working great, airflow is noticeably improved, and the entire project was completed fast and as promised. It's not often that a major home improvement project goes this smoothly. I hired Lions and they did some work to try to mitigate, but said that it would be a problem down the line. Down the line arrived and I called Lions back when my AC was dripping excessive water. Turns out it was toast and needed replacement. I got a quote for replacement from them quickly. I shopped around and theirs was a little higher than others (5-10%ish) but I felt they had a very thorough quote that explained every step they would do, so I went with them. For the install, it was easy/quick to schedule. They told me it would take 3 days. Lions sent their subcontractors who did a really good job. It took the full 3 days to do the full install, and they were quiet, efficient, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. They did not damage my paint or walls at all. During the work, they determined there would be incremental work needed to make the system work more efficiently. They ran everything by me and asked permission before, and quoted me the incremental costs. In the end, I felt like it was the right thing to do. They spent time making new vents and ductwork for me for what seems like a very small incremental price for the amount of work. At the end, I asked them to walk me through all the work on video to explain the system which they obliged happily. One note is that my building HOA is very strict about going on the roof and doing installs to avoid damage to void the roof warranty. The roofers said they would charge me an egregious amount to supervise the HVAC guys to make sure it was done right. Instead, I got permission from my HOA not to bring the roofers as long as Lions did not damage or modify the roof. I explained this to them and they did a perfect job reusing the old mounts so no roof modifications were needed, saving me some liability. In the end, the new AC unit works very efficiently quietly and has new features to prevent the same problems my last one had. New AC will burn a hole in your pocket no matter what, but I'm glad I had it done well by Lions.

We have a Kenmore Stainless Steel Fridge and a Samsung Dryer both decided to give out a few weeks apart from each other. I called different repair businesses and none answered on a Sunday, but ABS. Nick at ABS was super responsive came to our home within a mater of hours and diagnosed the issue on our fridge and ordered the part and within days our fridge was up and running. Next our dryer decided to stop drying we called him again and he diagnosed the issue over the phone and ordered a new motor for it and within days he replaced it and it was good as new. Nick is affordable, reliable, punctual, professional and honest. In all we are glad we got our appliances serviced by ABS who was able to follow through and not string us along with added cost which happened to us in the past by another repairman. I first found out about ASA Appliance years ago from online reviews that were all raves. Most reviewers highly recommended asking for Andrei. Both times I called Andrei he answered his phone right away. If he has to call back he does so promptly. Each time I made a repair request he scheduled a visit within a day or two. Andrei is not your typical repair guy. He is passionate about not only providing great service, but he wants to educate his customers as to why their appliances break or fail and how to avoid similar problems in the future. For my most recent issue -- our LG Dryer had stopped generating heat on a Saturday. We had done two loads of clothes that dried perfectly but the third load is when the dryer no longer provided heat. I took a quick look online and tried some easy home troubleshooting (cleaning the lint trap, power reset and even resetting the thermostat switch inside the dryer). None of them worked. So I put in a call to Andrei assuming I'd have to leave a voicemail on Saturday, but instead he picked up immediately. Told him the problem and he said he would come by Monday between 10am--12noon. Andrei texted me Monday ahead of time to let me know when he'd be at the house. He showed up around 11:20am and promptly went to work disassembling the dryer and in about 20 minutes he told me what was wrong, emailed me his estimate and started as soon as I agreed. (He will not proceed with any repair until you know his diagnosis, his full estimate and agree to the repair.) My problem turned out to be a broken IGNITER (see photo). Andrei explained thoroughly where the Igniter sits inside the dryer right below the front loading door and that with its critical parts made out of ceramic it's easily prone to breaking -- ESPECIALLY as Andrei pointed out -- if the door is slammed or even closed too hard. Andrei went beyond the explanation. He had me record a video where he demonstrated how to close the dryer door in a way that won't damage the igniter -- so I could show everyone in the household who uses the washer/dryer! Like I said, not your typical repairman. Andrei also took a look at our refrigerator while he was there and asked how it was running and what sort of maintenance were we doing. I mentioned one small display door latch wasn't working as intended so he took a photo of the serial number and said he'd see if he could find the parts. He also noticed the rubber door lining was getting cut at the corners where small insignificant-looking rubber tabs are located to keep cold air in. He did a quick fix with some tape. Even though the igniter was an expensive repair (it was an expensive part) I feel I easily got more than my money's worth of service. The most important thing to know about Andrei and ASA Appliance is that they are not just interested in repairing your appliances. They want to show you how to avoid another similar repair and will even give advice on how to get the most out of all your major appliances. A few years ago Andrei gave up an easy visit fee when I called about my washer. When I described the sound it was making he said, "It's the ball bearings in the drum. I can't help you. No one can help you. You need a new washer. I could come over and charge you for the visit but it would be a waste of your money." Finding such honesty and expertise in a repair technician is incredibly rare. I can't recommend ASA Appliance and Andrei anymore highly.
