He responded with the following comment: "We are just too busy right now to take on anymore weekly clients." Jake "The Pool Guy" came out to service my pool and fixed the system suction / pressure issue in about 5 minutes. He then proceeded to explain in intricate detail preventative maintenance, the process of the water recycling through the system, and a walk through of my self-cleaning and automatic pool equipment. Jake's knowledge on the pool system was apparent and surpassed the help / information received from my local pool retailers. His knowledge of the pool system had me up and running in no time, making me wish I would of called him 3 weeks prior when I first obtained the pool. I am really disappointed in my experience with this company (specifically the pool cleaner) but, full disclosure, this is the only pool cleaner I've ever had and I'm not sure if this is common... Chris, the cleaner, came to my home (I have to add, VERY quickly after I requested an appointment) and gave me a brief overview of what he would need to do to get the pool in swimming condition and how much it would cost. He insisted that I have $100 cash waiting for him at the first appointment as he claimed it's how he gets paid (which seemed sketchy but I went with it). He provided great service for three weeks and then things got weird. 1. He originally had our appointment dates set for every Thursday. Out of nowhere he started showing up on Wednesday. When I reached out and asked about this he told me he had ALWAYS come on Wednesdays. I also requested that, for his safety, he send me a text message before arriving at my house to ensure that my dogs were locked up. He then lectured me as to why he would not do this and that he "doesn't do it for any other clients" and therefore refused to do it for me. 2. His appointments were scheduled between 2-4pm. One Wednesday at almost 6:00pm I reached out and asked if he was still planning on coming to my house and he responded with, "I have seventeen pools to clean in one day and you need to be patient". 3. When cleaning my pool filters he would stand in my front yard, shirtless, chain smoking cigarettes. Quite the eye sore for my neighbors. 4. He brought his kid with him to clean the pool for one appointment. Two things here: First, if his kid was hurt on my property I would be liable, not okay. Two, during this appointment he walked into the yard, looked at the pool, fidgeted with the filter and left. The appointment was literally 5 mins and the pool was left dirty. 5. My neighbors complained to me that he drove like a "bat out of hell" as he would peel out of my neighborhood in his truck. So, all of this led me to reach out to the owner who apologized profusely and said he would address the issue. Now, I used a Yelp coupon and the services were insanely cheap so I wasn't exactly expecting a refund but it did bother me that he didn't offer for a different technician to come out and clean the pool free of charge for a few weeks. Even more weird? A month after I stopped my service I get a message from the owner asking if the pool cleaner has been coming to my house for the last four weeks. I told him no, obviously not, and he said he was under the impression that the cleaner had been coming and that he'd been paying him to clean our pool that whole time. My impression is that this company is kind of disorganized and that their cleaners are not held accountable. It's disappointing because my initial impression was very positive. This goes to show that recovery in Customer Service is what sets the great businesses apart from the mediocre ones. read more

Not only do these guys know what they are doing, they will go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. While cleaning the pool in my Vegas property, they noticed that the water pressure coming out of the filter system seemed a bit weak, so they shut it down, removed and cleaned the filter. First of all, the pool tech Chris did a fantastic job with my pool. The reason I am giving this place 3 stars is because the promo they have on Yelp is very misleading. I paid $50 for $100 worth of service. I told Jake about the promo I had and that I wanted to start monthly service. Monthly service according to the site was $110, thinking I would pay $10 out of pocket. When Chris came he thought it was a one time cleaning, I was confused, so was he. When he called jake, Jake said that a one time cleaning was $100 and if I wanted to start monthly service, he would give me $50 off. That would mean that I paid $50 for the promo and had to pay $60 for the monthly service which a total of $110 and is not a discount at all. read more

When they show up, they were a couple of minutes early, which is a good thing since the other guys would always be late for whatever excuse. Next thing they explain to me the process and how much each option would cost. Things were going so well... for a while, until something happened to our pump and it stopped working. That's no biggie - things break down - but the problem was, the folks at Absolut didn't let us know for 2 months that they saw an issue, and simply stopped cleaning our pool that entire time. They would come to the house, but not do anything. If they had let us know right away, we could have repaired it for them and been on our way, but instead they stopped doing their job and communicating with us, but still expected to be paid. In the end, Jake did offer a reduced rate for all of the missteps, but after 4 strikes, I simply had to look elsewhere. Hopefully they work out the kinks, because they do have promise. read more

I am a very good shopper. I called several pool cleaning services to check for prices and information on services. Jake was one of the few who actually answered his phone! This is not because he isn't busy, because I know he is. Jake is a true professional. He was very prompt to respond to our needs. We had a very green pool that we allowed to go by the way side this winter. Jake transformed our big green mess into the cleanest pool we've ever had!
