First of all, WOW! I had experience talking to various floor installation contractors, obviously looking for not overly expansive but where price meets decent quality. That is a pretty bad criteria to follow, especially as I was selling my unit and had rather close deadlines to meet. Another major problem is that I was out of state and had to manage everything from a distance. After many back and forth conversations, I finally met a contractor that seems to meet my needs. However I met many problems: hard communication, disappearance, total ignorance. I had approximately 24 hours left prior to installations, my contractor bailed on me, blaming it on a car problem that became a priority. I found ABSOLUTE FLOORING LLC online, with good ratings and recommendations. After a discussion on phone, Edwhar offered a good price and said that he can start working almost immediately. Results were astonishing, I knew I was getting bang for the buck. Edwhar provided all necessary documents for management's approval within a day, while other places take almost a week to do the same. Knowing my situation, he started installation the next day after approval: removed the old carpet, installed the new floors and cleaned up, as well as sending the photos of finished work for a approval. He did an amazing work, taking into consideration client's situation, always friendly and reachable by phone, email and text, no matter how late. He's the best contractor I got to work with. Edwhar and his crew just did an excellent job buffing our brazilian cherry hardwood floors and putting on a new topcoat of polyurethane--the floors look like new! Edwahr was terrific to deal with-- very knowledgeable and professional. He found a floor board problem we weren't aware of and didn't push for a total refinishing when we told him the floors had been stripped twice since 2004 and were in generally good shape except for a few spots that would mostly be covered by a rug. The quality of the work was excellent. Even though the crew was not at fault, Edwhar and his crew promptly and cheerfully fixed a small problem area when they returned to help us move the furniture back in place. I had the best experience with the team at Absolute Flooring! From beginning to end they were great. Edwhar was very thorough he returned every call and answered every question that I had. I received his estimate in record time and the cost was great. His crew worked under some very bad conditions during this heat wave with no AC!!!! And I must say they were troopers and tuft it out and did an amazing job! They arrived on time, finished in a flash and clean up was great I couldn't tell they had even been here. We used Absolute Flooring LLC to replace our flooded floating floor in basement. Edwhar came out to our house, advised us of options and was very knowledgeable and informative. Tony and his crew came out and did an outstanding job of removing old floor, leveling where needed, moved furniture in four rooms as well as a washer, dryer, refrigerator and a home gym and then layer approximately 1000 square feet of Porcelain tile.
