This plumbing service replaced a well pump. Charged for a 1 1/2 HP pump. 1 year later it failed. The pump removed was a 1 HP pump. They never put in a 1 1/2 HP pump but charged the previous year for it. Don't trust this company. read more

AB has helped me out twice. They helped fix a burst pipe in our outdoor shed (Apr 2024), as well as replacing our upstairs toilet (Oct 2024) that had developed a constant water leak driving up our water bill. Both times Bill was sent out and each time we had excellent service. The people I spoke on the phone were also very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend them for normal or urgent calls. read more

Absolute garbage customer service. The person I talked to on the phone didn't even know what he was talking about and told me if he had to come to fix a leak in my yard it would be at least 1800 dollars!! He didn't even come to asses the situation. This happened the Friday before the Fourth of July weekend and I had guests down to visit. We went the whole weekend without water. I told them this and he said he was on call and that if he had to come out it wouldn't be until after the holiday. I told him that his policy says that if on call they are on call no matter what day. I simply waited until the following Tuesday and had a local handyman come out dig up where the leak was and it was fixed in a matter of minutes and only cost 75 dollars.. They charged 125 for coming out. Did no diagnostics, only to plug and unplug the Sump Pump. They wanted an additional 250 to actually lift the cover, remove a coupling that screws on, to look at the pump and insisted I needed a new pump. By the way I insisted they needed to remove the coupling they wanted to cut the pipe. 10 minutes after they left I fixed it. It was just an obstruction under the pump, a wipe. I would have otherwise given them the money except it became apparent quickly they had no clue what they were doing. I had to tell them to actually use the floater switch on the pump to turn on the pump to do a real test. Then one guy insisted the floater that is used for the overflow alarm sensor was the switch for the pump. Stay away from this people. Also they get dispatched by some broker called CJH Plumbing 855 706 2005. This guys are really crooked. They continuously change their websites and use multiple phone numbers to appear as a different company and evade bad reviews. Terrible customer service from the owner and unprofessional job performance from the employees. I hired them to replace a hot water heater located on the (finished) third floor of my home. While hooking up the new hot water heater they flooded my house. So much water was gushing out it was pouring through the ceiling on the second floor and continued down through the floor/ceiling to the first floor. They were very lackadaisical about the whole situation (one of the two plumbers shown in the photo stood by and watched the water rain down) and then brought in a roll of paper towels to attempt to dry up gallons and gallons and gallons of water. Water was still dripping on both levels when they expediently left. While the plumbers were still at my house, I called the main office and spoke with Alice who advised Keith (owner) would call me ASAP regarding the situation. As of today, it has been 7+ weeks and despite numerous phone calls/emails he has not responded. Meanwhile, I have had to hire another contractor to repair the $$$ damage. I've called for 2 separate needs in the past year. Kevin responded both times. Both times, he arrived on time, did great work, and was courteous and polite. First call was for septic pump. Price was very reasonable. I'm waiting for today's bill but I gave no reason to think it won't be reasonable and fair. Needed help quickly in the Charlottesville area off 29, asked other plumbers, they could not get to my location for weeks. Called Absolute Plumbing they said they could do the work reasonable & quickly, needless to say they charged us 4 times industry standard replacing a pipe in a parking lot should cost, plus they brought 4 times the gravel to fill the hole back, left their equipment in the parking lot taking up valuable parking spots for two weeks. They have no business sense, to take advantage now means no business later. read more

they were no shows for two appointments..the first time they said they had an emergency and couldn't make it..but they never called to let us know that..we called after they were 3 hrs late from their own window of 8am-12 noon...so we gave them another chance..emergencies do happen..but the second appt went the same...would be here right around 12 because they had another appointment before ours, but nearby...ok, good..but 3 hrs after they were scheduled AGAIN, they didn't show up or call..when I called them, they said...gee, that first customer cancelled, and we cancelled yours too...no apologies, no nothing..so she was going to call the guy, then I said if he could not get to my house within one hour, to go ahead and forget the third appointment. Absolute worst!. This business provides terrible customer service. For an appointment scheduled for 9:30 am ,, the repairman didn't appear until 1:00pm. No call from him or the office, When asked why the delay, the person in the office said she wasn't aware of the appointment. The repairman was asked to return a few days later because the repair was not successful, he did not return. Again, no explanation. The office blamed it on the repairman and the repairman blamed it on the office. Our plumbing problem still exists and we will not be calling Absolute again. read more

Not all plumbers are the same.....and after having a plumber come to our office to repair a leaky toilet and being quoted a large amount for the repair, we decided to get a second opinion. We are so glad we did. We made a call to Absolute and were promptly scheduled. Our technician was to arrive @ 2 PM the following day. He arrived @ 10:20 AM and was quick to take care of business. The quote of more than $450 was quickly reduced to a $95 charge. The fix was to simply tighten a bolt. The original plumber told us we needed a new gasket and "guts" . We highly recommend Bill Robinson and will continue to use his company for all future plumbing needs. read more

I called Absolute on a Thursday afternoon because I was not getting any water from my well. I spoke to Keith who said he would stop by on his way home to take a look. After a few minutes and a few different diagnostic tests he determined that the well pump had gone bad. Not knowing what size well pump I had, Keith gave me an estimate and said they stock well pumps of different sizes so he was sure they had one to replace the bad one and that he would return the next afternoon to complete the job. True to his word, when I arrived home on Friday afternoon, he and another technician were busy at work. They had already pulled out the bad one and were getting ready to put the new one in. The job was completed when promised and the final price was actually $100.00 below the estimate. The professionalism displayed along with the prompt service and fair price will keep me coming back to Absolute Plumbing whenever I need a plumber. It is obvious to me they truly care about their customers! read more
