Absolute plumbing originally installed our water heater in 2021 and the other day it started leaking. Same great service in 2021 as today. I gave them a call back to see if we had any warranty on the water heater left, Kareem answered and said he would be at my house within the hour to assess the situation. He told us that it was faulty and needed to be replaced. The good news was it was still under the Rheem warranty we just needed to cover the installation. He took pictures of the water heater to ensure there would be no issues with the Rheem warranty and waited for their approval to replace the water heater. I had a sewage leak under my house. Absolute was the first business I contacted. The technician was very nice but gave a lot of incorrect information. He didn't look at the the City Sewage pipe. He told me that the leak was happening for months although I only not iced the odor two days before that. He gave me a quote of $7,800 to remove the 3' of broken pipe and dry out the flooding. Fortunately I got a second opinion. The other plumber, from JR Putman, did check the plumbing line from the sewer district. This was what caused the pipe to be stressed at a previous job to break. He contacted the sewer district for me and they were out that day. The cost to remove and replace the faulty pipe is almost $3,000 less. The plumber also told me that the leak happened over a few days. I wouldn't recommend Absolute plumbing to anyone. Also, always get several bids on any project. read more

I had an electrical project where PG&E needed to move my gas meter. Long story short is I had problems with a previous plumber who connected my house to the meter not to code. PG&E would not approve the work so I could not move forward with a new electrical panel install. Absolute Rooter showed up to provide a quote and after I showed them my issue, and told them that the installation needs to pass county and PG&E codes they said no problem. It was getting late in the evening and I said lets get started thinking they would start the next day. They started right that night and did a fantastic job. They also found several leaks and incorrect pipes that were used and fixed everything so my gas system would pass both inspections. No wonder my gas bill kept going up. I thought it was just PG&E raising my rates. A few days of work to get the system up to code and it passed with no issues. These guys were great at communicating, showed up when they said they would and kept me up to date on anything they found and needed to be corrected. I had an issue with the water release valve coming from the wall that you connect to supply line to toilet tank. I called up for an estimate. I was given an estimate of over $200. The plumber arrived an assess the situation, and said all you need is a new water supply line, 1/2 on one end, and 7/8 on the other, which he had on his truck, he connected it job complete. He charged me the price of the water supply line which was like $6.00. I was relieved that I didn't have to pay $200. Back in July I started my hunt for a plumber to move an existing water line to the perimeter of my yard to make room for a pool we were having put in. We had a very sudden sewer line back up at our business in Rancho Cordova on a Friday morning. Completely frazzled I googled a local plumber and chose Absolute Rooter & Plumbing because their response time was 10 minutes or less. I called the number listed on the website and immediately spoke with Kareem at 10:15am. He was kind, knowlegeable and funny on the phone as I explained to him the issues at hand. Although at that moment he was at another jobsite he said he would personally be at our shop between 10:30 & 11:30. At 11:10am Kareem walked through our door! We were immediately impressed that he was able to arrive so quickly within the timeframe he quoted. Our company is also a construction/contractor based business so we know that an emergency call-in request can be difficult to immediately respond to. After a quick assessment of the issue Kareem quickly came inside and very thoroughly explained to myself, then to my boss (business owner) via telephone what the problem was and the steps of the intended repair. Five minutes later he had already prepared a proposal/estimate that was reasonably priced, so I signed. He promised that he could have the problem solved same day, however he needed to go and pick up some extra equipment and machinery in order to complete the scope of work. At that time he also had another appointment to get to, but promised to return. I also had to add another element of difficulty by explaining that our office closes at 3:30. He said "No problem! It is going to cut it close, but I got you"! At 3:08 Kareem, his machinery and a helper returned to our shop and immediately got to work. At 3:27 he popped his head in the door and said "we are all done you can lock up"!! Again, we were so impressed that he was able to get the line clear and properly working so quickly, while also very obviously respecting our time and business hours. He went above and beyond for us, and we will definitely be calling Absolute in the future for any and all plumbing needs both in the shop, and our personal homes.
