Drove out to check out and buy a fountain but the place seems like it's out of business.

When you are looking for a beautiful fountain, outdoor planting pots, decorative statuary or anything backyard related - you must come here! I first visited Absolute about 13 years ago when we bought a new home. We wanted two fountains, one for the front porch and one for the backyard. There are always so many fun choices, for all price ranges and budgets. The owners are very helpful and so friendly! They will deliver (with a small fee) and set up your fountain for you as well. On our recent visit, we saw all sorts of fun outdoor decorative pieces. I have included some photos of these too! read more

It's not like Absolute needs anymore great reviews...I'll leave one anyway. This place rocks! Yes, the customer service is excellent, yes, the selection is amazing, yes, the setting and business is outstanding, yes it's on the expensive side. All of the fountains are cast concrete, so they last! That speaks volumes in todays "throw away" society. Thank you all for a stellar experience! When we had some trouble with the hookup at home, he tried to troubleshoot it over the phone but ultimately even came out to help us. We visited here after it was recommended by a friend. What a delightful place to visit. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There was a great variety of garden and home statuary and fountains along with plants. Well worth the visit just to wander around and appreciate the artistry and peaceful Zen like settings. I had been looking for a simple rock fountain to include in our Zen Garden and found one here at a very reasonable price. Staff answered all of my questions regarding setting it up. This place is amazing. We stopped in for a quick look and stayed longer than planned. There was so much to see. Walked around the huge outdoor property and I was super impressed. And then I headed inside to the main structure where the staff/owners are located. All of them are so friendly and helpful and they even have a cute little resident doggy that loves to be pet. If you are looking for ideas for backyard decorations, or even for indoors, this is your place. They have so many water fountains here. Probably more styles than anyone needs. The variety is much appreciated because each water fountain produces a different water sound. It might be a babbling brook or a slight dripping sound. It might be a strong solid rushing of water sound. So many choices so it is great to see them all and have the option to decide which look you prefer and which water sound you prefer. They also have a ton of choices when it comes to statutes. We are looking for a Buddha and this place has it all. Buddha head, Buddha fully body, Buddha seated or standing. Fat Buddha and skinny Buddha. All of it! We didn't decide on one just yet but we are planning to return and find the right fit for our needs. I'm excited at the idea of returning here for a longer day of exploration. The gardens provide so many ideas and inspirations for your home patio or garden. read more

Not only is this THE best place to buy a fountain and other lovely garden knick-knacks, their customer service is awesome. The pump in the new fountain I just installed seemed to stick somewhat and resulted in too strong a flow causing water to cascade down the back on the fountain onto the patio. Bill, their excellent fountain installer, drive quite a way to fix it -- which he did in two seconds. I've bought two fountains from them -- love them both, and the showroom/garden area is lovely place to wander around, with the soothing sound of multiple fountains going! I've purchased 2 medium size garden fountains here and several high end flower pots. Absolute carries the good stuff, way better quality than the fountains found at Orchard Supply, Home Depot, etc... Absolute carries fountains mostly made right here in the bay area. The show yard covers about half acre full of functioning fountains. All the burbling water is quite entrancing. Owners are quite cool. They're creative people with a good sense of humor. Prices are competitive. They deliver to your home and will do setup too. Recommended! read more

Love this place! Love love love this place. I can't go enough and stroll about getting inspiration and looking for new finds. I have acquired house plants (orchards) ceramic vases the size of small children filled with dry and synthetic, flowers, moss, and branches, French industrial wine racks, and small treasures. I have also been lucky enough during the annual sale (think Sept!) to purchase the main event a beautiful cast cement three layer wall fountain. The owners are a husband and wife team and they have the help of a wonderful gardener designer who is in charge of the place on Sundays. They are dog lovers so bring your well behaved puppy on a leash and make friends when you go there for a visit. read more

We spent over $27,000 in fountains with this company. They were helpful and provided what we wanted for the most part The largest fountain was over 16' across and they could not figure out how to make the base fit together. We had to go to a simpler design from another company to get the job finished, we spent thousands making it work an this company would not give us any credit at all The fountain was 6 months behind schedule and once installed the 4 pumps worth $1,000 failed because they were not the right pumps. The warranty expired because this company bought them 6 months before they were delivered to us. Absolute refused to replace the pumps or fix them. Since they delayed the fountain install the warranty ran out waiting for Absolute to figure out ow to build a fountain. The whole job was a real hassle and they did not care if we were delayed or iif thekir deliveries were convenient for us. We will put in more fountains but we won't buy anything from Absolute. There are other companies in the Bay Area that have better prices and are more service oriented. read more

Great selection of statues and fountains, as the name suggests. Ranging from small self-contained bubbling things you might expect, to an outdoor kitchen bar / grill with waterfall counter top built it. Prices were quite a bit higher than we expected, but don't seem to be out of line with the industry. Perhaps we're a little naive about what these outdoor accoutrements cost. What are you going to do, have Amazon ship you a 300 lb. statue with a 95 gallon basin? They were helpful and seemed experienced and knowledgable about their business, as we asked several questions about a custom design are considering. It's directly across from what appears to be a very popular flea market?! So be aware of traffic if you go on Sunday. PS - Nice nursery in the back. Love this place. Was recommended to me, and I'm so glad I checked it out. My first visit I just stumbled around, looking at the many fountain options I hadn't even considered. When I asked questions, because some seemed to run differently, I was treated kindly (even though I'm sure they get the same questions all of the time). Our second visit, I had to bring hubby to get his input, and again, we both were amazed at the selection. We found "our piece" and the staff was great about giving us details on the fountain, additional instructions, etc. We picked it up ourselves, and attempted to unload at our home. With one piece left, that was too heavy, we placed a call for help. They kindly had their staff swing by after another job, in our area. After seeing the care they took in assembly, and getting it to flow just right, I will in the future pay for set-up. read more

I have gone to Absolute Statuary & Fountains 4 times now. I started out looking for a fountain for a birthday present. Instead, there was such a wonderful selection of statues, I had to buy 2 Kuan Yins instead. They gave me a 10% off disc. for buying 2, for I think she was delighted I didn't just go with one, and even gave 10% for a small mark in the back of one. They gave me burlap bags to help secure the travel of the statues, which I brought back later. It's a nice place to visit and lose yourself in this wonderland-the owner decorates everything in her shop so well with such great taste. The greenhouse too is delightful! I bought a painting and some small succulents in a cute container to give to my singing group for thank you gifts. I went back this year and found a buddha statue and they had such a unique orchid plant I had to have that too. She gave me a free pot that I really liked for free to put it in. It made me tear up how thoughtful she was for it was what has become my annual birthday present excursion of delight! read more

Randy at Absolute is awesome! We came in a few days ago and picked out a beautiful fountain for our front yard. Today when we went back to order, we expected to have to wait several weeks to receive it. Instead, Randy let us take the floor model home, he gave us a great deal, and he delivered it to our home 20 minutes after we left Absolute. The best part? He did all that, and unloaded it, for free! Friendly, helpful and most of all, knowledgeable. Prices are excellent compared to other online companies. I recommend you use Renaldo to do your set up. He is experienced and careful. I didn't use him and made some errors he would not have. We were so pleased with our first fountain in the front that we are installing a second in the back. The only problem was most of the fountains are custom made one at a time and though they said it would take six weeks or fewer for delivery, it was closer to eight. So plan in advance. read more

I believe it is the owner. I bought a drinking fountain there and the faucet was broken. She was rude from the start and refused to replace it. This place is a major disappointment. I purchased a sculpture for $750 and found it later at another place for $300 !! She said it was done by an individual artist and in actuality is mass produced in Mexico. She basically lied to me. Her products are marked up two or three times their worth. Love this place. Great customer service. I bought a fountain from them 6 years ago and today a piece broke. I thought I was going to have to replace one whole section and was prepared to spend over $100.00, but the owner was able to provide me with a little coupler to mend the broken pipe and charged me $1.56 for new tubing.
