The world we live in is all GrubHub, DoorDash, etc. so the inside is beginning to reflect that with taking out a whole register to use as a pickup counter and the island you used to be able to sit and eat at has no island seating. We decided not to GrubHub, DoorDash, or UberEats because they had a really good special going for Rapid Pick-Up. Since we live around the corner, I figured I'd save on the delivery fee, service fee, tip, and get to utilize the near 50% special. The money was GREAT but the timing was absolutely unacceptable! The app told me to arrive around 6:01 to 6:05 as that will be the window in which our order "should be complete" given the time I ordered everything. Cool. I give them an additional 10 minutes because I know this location can get swamped. I arrive at 6:15 and they haven't even started our order. I'm patient. Fine. I wait. and wait... and wait... and wait. 45 Minutes goes by. I'm then approached by a staff member to see what I'm "standing around waiting for?" I responded with "my order I placed on the app nearly an hour ago." She asked for my name, went back behind the counter, and continued working on orders. I saw what appeared to be our order beginning to be assembled. An hour after the order was placed, it was bagged and handed to me. I went home with the order, which was accurate.
