Plentiful serving size but flavor tasted a bit off
    Marcy M.

Food arrived pretty quickly. No problem with temperature or packaging. The issue is that the pork belly was much greasier than I am use to, and it lacked pork. The pieces were more like grease-filled pork rinds. I fed them to my bichpoo pup who loved them though. The crab Rangoon wantons had more cream cheese than appropriate so they tasted more like warm cheese without any crab meat or related flavor. The wanton soup was plentiful and was seasoned with special unidentifiable spices. The broth tasted a bit off to me. For these reasons, I feel Nahm Pla Thai is not for me.

I'm usually not someone to like Thai but I really enjoyed this restaurant!…read more The fresh spring rolls were indeed very fresh and yummy! I liked the sauce- it was interesting. The fried spring rolls were super! And good the sauce was too. The Thai and lychee and Thai tea are spectacular. The best Thai tea I've had perhaps. Veggie dumplings are also SPECTACULAR!!! Red curry panang was Super good and coconut flavored . It was a bit too strong and rich for me but definitely good. Shrimp black pepper was good! Pad Thai with tofu so good!!! The peanut hint was delicious and the noodles had a perfect texture Pad kaprow was pretty good and a little spicy. The drunk noodle was ok. Not crazy about the noodle texture but the chicken on its own is ok. The combo of the noodle chicken and veggie isn't bad but I'm not crazy about it because of the noodles. The beef is a bit too chewy and I'm not crazy about the taste (bland). All in all the main dishes were very good and so were the apps!

The restaurant had a nice selection of Thai cuisine. We ordered the wonton soup and the dumplings, pork and chicken, both were flavorful and fresh. I ordered the pad kapow with fried tofu and chicken medium spice. Everything was cooked perfectly and very nice flavors. My fiancé got the chicken with mushrooms and ginger. I think the ginger for him was a little too strong. We'll have to find him something next time the staff was very friendly. They've been open about a year and a half. We definitely will return

However, looks can be deceiving. We were seated in a small but clean dining area just beyond the bar. Surprisingly, the four of us had the entire restaurant to ourselves, which made for a relaxed and comfortable dining experience. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and very helpful in answering our questions about the menu. We started with two appetizers--the fried tofu and vegetable rolls--which arrived quickly and were absolutely delicious. As someone who loves spicy food, I can confidently say this Thai restaurant did not disappoint. For our entrées, I ordered the Pad Kaprow with chicken, my daughter chose the Khao Soi, my son had the Pad Thai with shrimp, and my husband enjoyed the Massaman Beef Curry. Every dish was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and packed with authentic taste. We were genuinely blown away by both the quality of the cuisine and the exceptional service. To complement my meal, I ordered the Soulless Mule, which perfectly enhanced the bold, spicy flavors of my dish. This restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. We will definitely be returning soon.

I enjoyed the small quaint atmosphere as well as the time to speak with one of the owners and see a few children enjoying time hanging out in their basement level. If you're looking for a great Thai spot, Bodhi is truly 10/10. I have been searching for a Thai…read morerestaurant that really hits the spot for years, and I can honestly say I finally found it. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it's a place people love. great energy, great food, and great staff who make you feel welcomed. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed, which is always a good sign. It was a bit loud, but nothing unbearable or uncomfortable ... you could still enjoy your meal and conversation. The atmosphere felt lively and fun. I ordered the Thai fried rice extra spicy and my goodness, it was incredible. The flavor was rich, perfectly seasoned, and the spice level was exactly what I wanted. You can tell the food is made with care and authenticity. I also ordered the pomegranate martini and it was absolutely amazing. It had the perfect balance of sweet without being overwhelming, especially if you're someone who doesn't love super strong drinks. It was refreshing and paired really well with the meal. Overall, Bodhi is definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to. Great food, great staff, and a great overall experience.

I ordered delivery and really enjoyed the three distinctly different items ordered. I can honestly…read moresay I've never had a fried wonton like the ones prepared from here. They were light yet filled to the brim with chicken filling. I felt like it was in house made and not a massed produced frozen item that had been flashed fried. I would order again. Next I ate the Thai coconut custard, it was very tasty. The best part (although I don't know if a mistake) they were served in three very cute ceramic dishes. Not only did I get a meal, I received new dishes to add to my house:) Lastly, I ordered the Larb. I requested no onions or scallion. It was very flavorful with basil and crunchy lettuce included. It was an unexpected protein full meal. I thought the serving was plentiful and could not finish the Larb. I would recommend trying if you're on the fence. If this experience was this yummy delivered, I'm sure the in house service is even better. Good luck scoring the ceramic dishes with your takeout/delivery service.

Had a very tasty experience at Bodhi!…read more The space is quite small! There's a small waiting area at the bottom of a set of stairs and then a small dining area. There was one server working the entire restaurant (including the take out orders), so service was a little slow. The server was really doing his best, but it was a packed restaurant. Despite this, the food came out relatively quickly! The portion sizes were generous. The Bodhi Curry with salmon was fantastic! It comes with a side of rice to eat with the curry. The fried eggplant and chive dumpling appetizers were also crowd pleasers! Everyone loved their meals. There is plenty of street parking within walking distance!

The food here is good but the service left... something to be desired…read more It's a small space, and they were quite busy when I walked in with a small group. We waited to be seated for only 15 minutes. Our waiter took our food and drink order promptly, and we let them know we were waiting on two more but they had us order since we were ready. We let them know we wanted to split the check before we ordered. Our friends arrived shortly after, but were waiting for 20 minutes before they decided to go up to the counter to place their own order as no server was coming to our table. Our waters had been empty for just as long. All of the food ordered at once came out at different times, and as a group we waited ~45 min for all of the food to come out. Our waters were still not refilled. I ordered the summer rolls with tofu, which were really refreshing and tasty with the peanut sauce. They were quite big too. Everyone had finished and we were sitting for another half hour before my friend went to the register to order dessert. Finally, when we were ready to pay our check, we waited another 30 min before we went to the register to pay as our server was not checking on us. We did see her around and she checked on other tables, but not us. They then refused to split the check, even though we had asked them to before we ate and they had confirmed that they could. Luckily Venmo makes things easy these days. On a separate occasion I ordered delivery from them, and the pad see ew with fried tofu was tasty and generous with the tofu. I think the food here is really good, but I don't think I would dine in again purely due to the service issues I experienced.
