    Pad Gra Pao

Ordered the pad gra pao and basil fried rice. A little underwhelmed overall--portion size was quite small for the price, and the flavors were not super impressive (pad gra pao was bland, basil fried rice was too sweet). Despite no line, service was on the slower side. Indoor and outdoor seating available in the market area!

Hands down THE BEST Thai food in Baltimore! The drunken noodles and the Khao soi are the best dishes they have. The flavor is UNBEATABLE!! I usually get it delivered to my place and appreciate how carefully everything is packaged for the Khao soi because there are so many wet and dry elements that need to be packaged separately. The food is so fresh and SPICY! I love the little stall in Broadway Market and love sitting outside whenever I do just get it to go. The Thai tea is also excellent here. The food is always delivered SO quickly and I've never once had a bad experience for all the years I've been ordering there.

This is a casual Thai eatery inside broadway market - but hands down the best Thai in the city. You can eat inside the market, but I mostly do takeaway. I am always on the hunt for the best pad Thai but convinced this doesn't exist in Baltimore. However, their fried rice, the chive cake, curry and Kao Soi are fantastic. A word to the orderer: a 1 is spicy and the 2 is hot. The 3 is death, and I love spicy. Make sure you stay at the 2 even for hot if you want your food to be tolerable. They have punch cards but I've yet to get a free meal as I keep replacing them with new ones The staff is always friendly, the last time I went we had a whole convo about the spicy levels at Thai street!

Thai food is definitely one of my favorite cuisines. Maximum flavor in one dish, what more could you ask for! Thai Street definitely delivered what it was supposed to! Thai Street is located in the Broadway market food hall. This food hall isn't as great as others, there really aren't many options to choose from. I was actually visited the mall to attend a yelp elite event and decided to order from here. The lady was working the stall was very nice. The food came out quickly and was piping hot! I ordered the Pad See Ew, which was amazing! The perfect amount of hot! I devoured my meal before I could even get it home! I will be back!

This is an excellent spot for Thai food inside Broadway Market. They have a wide range of spice levels and the food are accommodating to vegans and vegetarians. The service was quick and smooth, the staff are friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of seating inside the market as well as outdoor. I love the decorations of the food stall, it makes me feel like I made it to Thailand right there!

When I travel, I love to try new Thai restaurants. This came up with good reviews. Not sure what happened this day but I am left disappointed that I just spend all this money on a child size portion of food. I ordered the basil chicken with rice and the puff along with two teas. It wasn't on a lunch menu and definitely not enough for more than one person. There was no place to add sauce requests yet they give you no sauce. I am so disappointed in this attempt to support a local restaurant while in town. Maybe if I sat down inside, it would be better. I am not willing to take the risk.

A neat little spot! I grabbed one of their Thai teas with boba while waiting for my food at another stall in the market. It was super sweet but delicious and did the job of holding me over until my food was ready. The boba pearls seemed like they were cooked well and were nice and chewy. I noticed the lids weren't the sealed ones you usually get at a dedicated boba shop. I will say I did miss the satisfaction of stabbing the straw into the lid, but I found the drink to be mixed up well even if you couldn't give it a shake. A lot of the food on their menu sounded really delicious. I definitely would have ordered something to try if I wasn't currently waiting on my lunch plans for the day! Looking forward to going back to try their food!

I've been on the hunt for the best pineapple fried rice in Baltimore and Thai Street was next on my list. I ordered the papaya salad, the veggie spring rolls, and of course, the pineapple fried rice with chicken for delivery. The rice was about $15, a lot cheaper than some other places. Upon arrival, the food was nice and warm but not super well packaged with sauce dripping from the bottom of the bag. The papaya salad was really yummy and fresh tasting. The spicy level one was the perfect amount of spice for me. The veggie spring rolls came with three rolls that were each super crispy and well filled. The pineapple fried rice was pretty yummy too but definitely not the best I've had. Mainly, I wish the rice had more vegetables. It only had two pieces of broccoli, maybe four pieces of carrot, but more than enough grape tomatoes that I ended up eating around cause tomatoes aren't my favorite. All in all, Thai Street was pretty good but I probably won't be running back for the pineapple fried rice. It is cheaper than some other places but leaves a little to be desired.

I am on the hunt to find the best pad Thai in Baltimore! Is this it? No BUT it was still quite tasty! I ordered the "no spice" level just to be safe because this was a new try for me and I did add chili flakes and LOTS of lime juice to make it more flavorful. Maybe with a kick it would've been better? It was good, but it was missing some of that tradition Pad Thai flavoring although it looked well seasoned. This would be great choice if at the Broadway Market, but I will probably order from elsewhere next time. I will say, that this was ready SO fast - WAY less than the projected time online and the staff was super friendly (: Broadway Market is a very cool spot to check out in Fells with lots of different vendors to choose from. There is seating inside and outside with a nice ambiance.

Customer Service was absolutely amazing and the food was so delicious! I've never been to a market before but it didn't feel out of place.

Heads up! Thai Street is extremely addicting. I went once, did not know much or have super high expectations, and I fell in LOVE with the pad thai. I wish I was joking, but I went 4 times in one week recently to get the pad thai... oops! The portion sizes are wonderful. The flavors will blow your mind. I also love their thai tea with boba/bubbles! I'm starting to make friends with the staff I'm going so often! :D

My favorite Thai place in Maryland hands down. The pad Thai is my all time favorite, it's saucy and they pack it all the way to the top of the takeout container. I go every Sunday and Thai street has made my sundays that much better, I literally look forward to sundays all week just because I can get Thai street! Sometimes there is a wait to pick up the food but considering how many orders come through it's reasonable. The staff are super nice and have gone above and beyond for me. Im very sad I am moving this weekend & the #1 reason I will miss Baltimore is because of Thai street. (Oh and they even have punch cards!!)

I also tried the braised intestines on the side; while they were well-prepared, the texture wasn't quite for me--I'd probably enjoy them more if they were fried. Lao Sze Chuan is a new-ish (open since January 2025) Sichuan restaurant that took over the space Busboys and Poets used to occupy. It's a huge space, but they did a great job renovating it, and it feels light and bright and modern - very comfortable. It's huge though - so I hope people know it's there and are ordering takeout/delivery or stopping by a for a meal in person! The service was very friendly and very fast, so it's a great spot for an in-person meal, too! Their menu is as large as the restaurant space, so there's something for everyone! They definitely have a lot of Sichuan dishes, but if you're not up for Sichuan, they have some other dishes that might fit the bill: dim sum (plenty of dumplings and buns), lo mein, fried rice, Peking duck, basil eggplant, Mongolian beef, and more... On Saturday at the restaurant, my husband and I shared a pot of white tea and a few dishes: crystal shrimp dumplings; pork soup dumplings; spicy tofu skin strips (shredded tofu skin tossed with Sichuan-style chili oil, peppercorns, and spices for a bold, numbing and spicy flavor); spicy and sour fish fillets (tender fish fillets simmered in a flavorful broth with pickled mustard greens, garlic, and Sichuan spices); a side of white rice for the fish; and red bean paste pumpkin cakes for dessert. When we ordered delivery in February, we shared: vegetable steamed dumplings; Yu-Shiang Eggplant Roll (tender eggplant braised and rolled in a traditional Sichuan Yu-Shiang sauce, offering a perfect balance of sweet, sour, savory, and spicy notes); crispy salty chicken (bite-sized chicken pieces deep-fried and seasoned with basil); salt & pepper pork chops (crispy fried pork chops tossed with onions and jalapeño peppers for a bold and savory flavor); and a side of white rice). I've enjoyed everything we've eaten (although I wouldn't recommend the crispy dishes for delivery for obvious reasons - I can't resist salt & pepper pork chops sometimes even though I know it doesn't travel the best), and I love how broad the menu is. I can't wait to return to try more of their dishes!

When ordering, there wasn't any option to customize the tea (sugar or ice levels specifically) so when it came out, I was disappointed with the sweetness and the lukewarm temp. I wish there was more ice and less sugar. The boba was also very overcooked and slimy. It didn't have the chewy bounce that boba is supposed to have and it wasn't marinated well either - it didn't taste like brown sugar at all. Just flavorless and mush. I ended up going home and dumping the whole thing over some ice cubes but it still wasn't great. The only upside is that they use dairy-free milk so no need to customize that. But overall, I wouldn't recommend this spot for boba unfortunately.

We entered shortly after 4 PM, which is when they open. There was no one downstairs when we entered, so we walked upstairs. When we walked upstairs, we asked the man at the bar if we could be seated because there was no one downstairs. He looked a bit flustered at first, but still ended up seating us in the same spot. I sat before near the window, which is exactly what I wanted. He immediately brought us ice, water and menus. He pointed to the specials on the menu, and gave us some time to look. We were the only people in the restaurant. Within a few minutes, he came and took our orders. Then, we waited.... For like 25 or so minutes... for the appetizer. And honestly, when they brought the duck rolls out, I was super disappointed. These were not the duck rolls I remember. These were tiny, underfilled, mostly full of the wrapper themselves, and lacking flavor. Additionally, when I placed my initial order, I asked for all of the condiments/sauces to be brought out. I asked the server again when the rolls came out, and he didn't bring them out until I asked a third time when the entrées came out. When the entrées did come out (ga tiem and crab fried rice), they left a lot to be desired. Ga tiem: bland. And to make it so bad, the vegetables served with it, were not cooked in the sauce as they normally are. They were served on the side and we're not cooked all the way. I can't really eat broccoli, so I swapped it for green beans, but I could pretty much snap the green beans in half because they were still so undercooked. Crabmeat fried rice: the fact that they cut up like three full scallion stems, barely cooked them, and tucked them under/at the base of the rice is crazy. They weren't even cooked long enough to release flavor. Also, to be in Baltimore, the amount of crab was a little embarrassing. Definitely should have been more. Overall, the rice wasn't very flavorful. Thai tea: good! Not too sweet, not too milky. You want to know what really made me mad? I asked for soy sauce, and they brought those super cheap packages that just look like black water that the cheap Chinese restaurants provide you when you get carry out. Those packets literally taste like nothing. I have been to very few Asian restaurants in my life that provide that type of soy sauce, especially when you dine in. It doesn't taste like soy sauce at all. I was incredibly disappointed. And considering the fact that I had to ask for these sauces three times, I was even more disappointed. We spent about $62 on the items above. Would I say I got my moneys worth? No would I say that I enjoyed this visit as much as I enjoyed the last? Absolutely not.
