We had a reservation, which is recommended because the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night in May. We opted to sit on the patio because the weather was gorgeous. I am not sure if the patio is climate controlled in the summer or not. But on that night we were there, the weather was mild so it was very pleasant. They have happy hour on Saturdays so I started with an IPA on tap and the wife had a Prosecco, also for happy hour prices. This is a tapas restaurant so I will try to remember all that we had. Manchego cheese board: excellent. The crisps and jam were perfect with the cheese. Potato torilla: excellent. The flavors melded very well and it was very tasty. It's filling so keep that in mind. Ceviche de jalapeno: excellent. Not too spicy, the shrimp and seafood was fresh with no fishy smell. The plantains were cooked perfectly, not greasy. Brisket on crostini: excellent. Forget the name but they are a winner. Brisket is good quality and the flavors come together nicely. Chicken skewer: excellent. They smartly use chicken thighs so the meat is juicy and tender. Tuna tartare: good. It actually was my least favorite. The quality was very good but it did not have much flavor. I needed some heat, some acid, something to give it a kick. We were absolutely stuffed and did not try dessert. Our server Marcellus was excellent. Very helpful and pleasant throughout. He never disappeared for too long. Overall, we had a great meal and will undoubtedly return here again.

We were greeted so warmly. The waitress was absolutely excellent - knew the menu like the back of her hand. Brook was her name and her dynamic personality made our experience just wonderful! The ambience is second to none! The handblown glass chandeliers are so charming and colorful! I wish I would have taken some photos. I ordered the veggie flatbread pizza - delicious! My friend ordered the grilled cheese and it looked incredible! The quaint shopping area attached to the restaurant was so much fun! Very unique, one of a kind items. Darling lilttle gift bags with every purchase. The whole experience was just A++++++! I cannot wait to bring my sweet mother there next week. She will be beside herself with joy!

We started with the meatballs, the cheese spread and bread. Both were excellent and big for small plates! Loved the meatballs and Chibbata bread. They were so sweet to let us taste the soups before we ordered, and no lie, they were all great but the cauliflower cashew was our favorite! Not only is it a vegetable but it's vegan as well. Super yummy! Mama had the grilled cheese with tomato soup and I had the BLT. The BLT came in pita bread and was moist and tasty. For dessert I had the fudge brownie and mama had the pear and apple crisp! They were so good we ate them before we could even get a picture. The restaurant is open till 9 at night and has drinks and entertainment too. Our server Brooke was just amazing! She was so helpful with the menu and made sure everything went perfect with the French press coffee I had no idea how to work one. She was a total super star!

For my birthday weekend, my family and I came to enjoy their most memorable and amazing Sunday brunch!! They had a live mariachi band for the first time and they were a complete vibe!! Amazing voices and energy. The ambiance and aesthetics were gorgeous! Omg, and Bad Bunny was on rotation as we were all getting ready for his Super Bowl appearance Lexi, our waitress, was so kind and served us well! Thank you to the manager for checking in on us often to make sure we were all good and enjoying ourselves. Please bring back the mariachi band-- monthly at least!! The food and prices were great and reasonably priced. I can't begin to express my LOVE for this restaurant/lounge. The customer service is incredible. I will be back soon :)))))))))))

Then, around 10pm, right after we'd gotten our drinks, a staff member came up and told us we needed to get up and took away our barstools. While I understand if the restaurant transitions into more of a bar at night and needs to remove seating, he was insincere and unapologetic about it. It immediately killed our conversation and vibe, and we left after one round. First and last visit.

All of the fried items were fresh and hot and all the flavors were really balanced. Even the Ramen soup wasn't salty which is a problem I see at many ramen places. Our favorite appetizers were the crab rangoon and the hama rayu but honestly everything that came out was solid. I will say that if you've had shrimp dumpling or Gyoza before, don't expect anything fancy/new here. Pretty standard. The service at this restaurant is on POINT! The servers are always hustling and checking in often despite how busy things are. Whoever is managing the staff and whoever is cooking in the kitchen is doing a bang-up job. We were in and out in 30min. We love efficiency! This is a great place to go after work or just to get a yummy bite to eat. The Happy Hour makes this place so worth it! This is our new favorite spot.

But all of that I think places it just a little above average. Everything seemed pretty standard as far as flavor and presentation. The taste was good, well seasoned, and plenty of umami. But nothing wowed me to the point where I would love to bring people here to try their food. I wouldn't avoid this place, but I also wouldn't go out of my way to try it again. You won't be disappointed here, but you won't be wowed either.

Parking wasn't bad either, there are lots and a garage nearby. However, the food itself fell flat for me. We ordered the crispy chicken happy hour special, which comes with a side salad. The chicken was on the dry side. Whenever I order Kaarage, it usually comes with a dipping sauce, but there was none here and that would've really helped out. The dressing on the side salad was way too acidic, making it hard to eat as well. In addition, we ordered the takoyaki as an appetizer. The takoyaki themselves were pretty solid, but the texture of the mayo was off. I'm not sure if they make their mayo in-house, but i noticed it was curdled. EDIT: after reading the restaurant's response, the texture I noticed was because it's an egg tartar sauce For the ramen, we ordered Jinya Tonkotsu Black and Creamy Veggie Ramen. Pricing is standard for DFW ramen restaurants, although *slightly* higher than some others (by like $1). The base ramen comes with a good variety of toppings! However, the ramen was just okay. The noodles are on the skinnier side, which I prefer thicker, chewier noodles. The pork chashu serving was small, and it tasted kind of old and wasn't that tender nor flavorful. The broth was just alright. I prefer soft-boiled, jammy ramen eggs, but the ajitama here was cooked longer than I would've liked. Ironically, I thought the veggie ramen was *much* better. The broth had better flavor, and they use different noodles than the tonkotsu, which were thicker (and exactly what I like!). Lastly, we had the matcha tiramisu for dessert. On a positive note, the matcha flavor was detectable. However, the tiramisu crème wasn't that fluffy, and there were noticeable amounts of undissolved sugar.
