After spending a quarter of my life in Southern California, I've always been chasing that authentic Mexican food vibe and taste, and Aca-pulquito nails it better than anywhere else I've found in Orlando. I've tried over 20 different Mexican spots in the area, and this one easily takes the crown for authenticity. It's a small corner restaurant with huge flavor. The portions are generous, the ingredients always fresh, and the flavors consistently incredible. My personal favorite is the ceviche, it's packed with more meat than any ceviche I've ever ordered, and the flavor is out of this world. Their enchilada sauce is to die for, and they somehow get their rice perfect every single time. I've tried nearly every meal here and haven't found a single thing to complain about. I had seen the restaurant when I have passed the area a couple of times and finally decided to stop by and give them a try. So glad I did! Joseph was nice, attentive, happy to answer any questions and checked on me often. He also brought Chips and salsa and it sure tasted homemade. I was looking forward on trying their salmon pastor tacos but they did not have them! I almost left disappointed but decided to try their mahi tacos instead and just have a side of the red chipotle sauce and they sure delivered! On yet another road trip. I was stopping along the way to my destination and my tummy was dictating the route. I saw this location via Yelp and popped in. If you've read any of my Mexican restaurant reviews you know I'm going in for the enchiladas verdes. Way too much food for one person. Aye caramba!! We shared a bean dip that was really cheesy and delicious. For my entree, I got the burrito with carnitas and green sauce. It came with beans and rice. The restaurant is very small. The outdoor seating was preferred by us. The waitress was so friendly and very attentive. You get complimentary chips and salsa and they were delicious. My husband got the 3 tacos which you can interchange. I got the usual chimichanga, it was crispy and flooded under cheese was delish! Was on the hunt for some tasty eats and came across this little spot tucked away. It's a quaint restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. It wasn't too hot, so we opted for outside. The menu had some great options. We were in the mood for tacos, so ordered the shrimp and salmon tacos. I'm glad they offered hard corn, soft corn, and flour tortillas as options. We went with soft corn. The tacos came with rice and refried beans, but we requested black beans since we don't eat pork. They were both pretty flavorful and quite filling. We came in just before the lunch rush and the food came so quick! We had played golf nearby and this was a perfect meal after - we got free chips and salsa that was great to snack on while we waited. I ordered the steak chimichanga, my nephew had a steak quesadilla, and my husband got the traditional rice platter. I seriously do not know how this place has good reviews. This was the absolute worst beef burrito I've ever tasted. The meat was slightly raw and was like an upgraded version of dog food. Texture and smell wise. Also, there was nothing else in the burrito but the weird beef. No rice, cheese, beans, or any other toppings. Just tortilla and beef. Atmosphere was nice. Small doesn't always mean crowded. Stoped in here after hanging out in the Ocala National Forrest. When we walked in we were waited on immediately and asked for our drink order. Our server did rush us immediately after we received our drinks. I am all for attentiveness but we didn't even have a second ti grab the menu to look. Although she was sweet and very kind. The food was excellent, I enjoyed my tacos very much the green sauce is better cold than hot. The chimichanga said it cane with cheese inside but didn't detect that cheese was actually inside. We sat outside to the side of the building. We were quickly greeted. Ordered beverages. Ordered empanadas, beef and cheese. They are large and hot (temp not spice). Very tasty. Not the absolute best but certainly recommended. We had one burrito with double the protein. And a rib eye. Wow to both. We had an attentive server. Our dog calmed down nicely. This place was hands down some of the best mexican food I have ever had in my life!! Our server was so sweet and funny and she recommended the seafood fajitas to us which was a combo of shrimp, scallops and octopus!!! It was so flavorful, spicy, and was the perfect bite every time! It also came with all the fixings and the entire thing was only 22 bucks!! So much amazing food for a great deal and we split it and still couldn't finish it! This place's customers all had amazing things to say about the food, we got to talking to some of them and were told how amazing all the food is so we can not wait to get back and try more dishes!! Absolutely amazing. Nice customer service (I'm vegan and needed help in changing a few items). Food is the best Mexican food I've had. The guac is the best I've had! Amazing. I will say the little tortilla bowl got soggy cus I waited a while to eat it so I would recommend to eat that if you're fast at eating lol but I had the fajitas and they were AMAZING. To truly appreciate Ava-Puquito, I had to eat there. I had ordered pick-up once before and the system was wonky and the food was just okay when I got it home. I will say that others don't seem to have a problem with the call ahead/take out because it was a very brisk business and people seemed to get their order very quickly when they came in. Last night the tacos were amazing. We had the Tex-Mex tacos and the street tacos with steak. Both were EXCELLENT! I preferred the Tex-Mex because it was a bit less rich and was familiar. I was disappointed because I ordered the soft flour tortillas instead of the crunch corn tortillas but once they arrived there was no disappointment and I will order them again. The chips, salsa, and queso were very good. One complaint: three tacos in an order was too much for me. It would be great if they offered a two taco option. Try it! You'll thank me! read more

Great newer spot in Longwood for Mexican food. Very small restaurant with togo, eat in, and some limited patio space. The patio chairs aren't the comfiest but they will make due. The food itself was excellent. We had the street tacos and enchilada verde with the free chips and salsa which were excellent. Waiter was very friendly and attentive.
