I have no words to express how thankful I am for Dellamaria Underwood at Acapella Salon. She is incredibly talented, beyond kind, and has a true gift for hair and makeup. In my head I knew exactly how I wanted my hair and makeup for the wedding, and although words failed me when I tried to explain my vision to her, she asked the perfect questions to help me figure out what I meant, and ended up producing the most beautiful look! We did two consultations because Della wanted to make sure she knew EXACTLY what I wanted. Della has such a beautiful heart, as well. Not only was my wedding venue about 2 hours away with traffic, but she also had to do my makeup and hair in a tiny little room with no AC and limited space to spread out her equipment. I got married at an apple orchard, which meant there was uncontrolled climate, lots of bugs, and not a lot of plugs or fans to work with. Della never once complained, but rose to the occasion and did it with a smile. We also ran into a few other issues with the timeline of our wedding, but Della worked at an efficient pace and got everything done, with time to spare. Because it was miserably hot and muggy in the room where we got ready, due to all my bridesmaid's curling irons and so many bodies, Della worked extra hard to make sure my hair stayed put and my makeup stayed in place. She used some amazing techniques that ensured my look stayed fresh until the second I walked down the aisle. I have incredibly thin, straight hair, and Della made my hair look voluminous, and full, while maintaining the loose elegant look that I was going for. Never in my life have I ever felt more beautiful and classy. I didn't look like a model, I didn't look fake... I looked like the best possible version of myself. That was very important to me. My husband fell in love with me, not a fake and dolled up version of me. So many of the guests at our wedding asked who did my hair and makeup and I didn't hesitate one bit to refer them to Della. I know that her work is top notch and that there is truly no other stylist I would want next to me in the hours leading up to my wedding. She is a wonderfully gifted stylist and I am blessed to have had her making me feel my best on the most important day of my life, thus far. Not only did Della make me feel stunning on my wedding day, but the haircuts and styling advice she gives me on a regular basis encourage me to care about my appearance and just all together feel confident about myself. After a terrible experience in college with a haircut at a local salon, I didn't cut my hair for 4 years because I was terrified by the idea of a bad hack job again. I met Della and began to hear great things about her and her haircuts, so I decided to take a chance and trust her. This was a big deal for me! She gave me a simple cut and cleaned up my ratty ends. I began trusting her more and more with each visit to the salon. So much so, that a few months ago, after I got married, I decided to cut my hair from the middle of my back to an A-line bob at my shoulders. I went in completely confident and ready for change! It's almost HALLOWEEN and I can't wait to return to Acappella! It is such a beautifully decorated salon, the service is first rate, and the atmosphere is like nothing else I have ever experienced in the valley. Last Halloween, my husband and I decided to enter a costume contest (the day before) at a prohibition style party at a gastro pub in Old Town Temecula. I decided to call around town and see if I could find someone who could set my hair in the old fashioned "pin curl" method of the 20's. I am an artist so, I had EXACTLY in mind what I wanted visually. No one had an opening or the experience to do such a specialized hairstyle on such short notice. I called Acappella on the Friday before the Halloween party, which was on Saturday. A lady named Erika answered the phone and didn't make me feel like I was asking for something impossible (which I was). After looking through the salon's entire schedule she told me that there is an expert stylist at the salon who could do it but she was fully booked. She put me on hold and asked Dellamaria Underwood if she would like to stay after her other scheduled appointments to accommodate me. Erika later told me that Dellamaria is involved in a local theatre group and has a special passion for the "stage" type of style I was looking for. Dellamaria agreed to help me!!! The next day I came to the salon where Erika greeted me with a smile, and offered me some coffee. A short wait later I was greeted with Dellamaria's warm smile. I have enough hair for 2 people, but Dellamaria never complained. We chatted as she did a VERY elaborate placement of pin curls in my hair. She put me under the dryer, I changed into my dress and shoes in their sweet little changing area and went on to WIN the costume contest at the Blackbird tavern in old town!! I felt as if I stepped right out of a Chicago speakeasy in the 20's. It was the best Halloween I have ever had! I felt special because I was treated like a friend and a VIP even though I gave them NO time, I recived a service that would have taken anyone else a lot of practice and time to prepare for, I felt as if I was the most important client Dellamaria had all day, and I went on to my party knowing that I looked AWESOME! I love this salon, and I especially love Abigail. I was new to the area and looking for a new stylist, and was really uncomfortable with the other salon that I went to first. Abigail made me feel comfortable from the beginning because she is so caring and works so hard to communicate so she understands exactly what you want. Abigail is fantastic. I've used Aveda hair color for years and with Abigail, I now use Kemon. Kemon is a new Italian hair color that lasts so much longer than Aveda, and the shine? Oh my Lord. The shine that Kemon provides is like having your hair treated every week because it lasts until your next hair color. Kemon is 100% organic and the best I've ever used. Abigail says she has a lot of fantastic results with first timers, from people switching from other hair colors. Anyway, I love this salon, I love their 100% organic hair color, hair care, makeup, and other organic products. The ambiance is warm and inviting yet upscale Tuscan. This salon does not smell like most, you cannot smell nail or any other chemicals because of the fan system they installed. I hate walking into a salon only to smell nail polish or other chemicals. You won't find that with Acappela. I also hate experienced hair stylists that just cut away the way they want and leave your hair uneven because they don't take the time. Abigail takes the time to ensure every thing is perffect. I love that she doesn't just get you in and have you wait while she works on someone else. She is 100% focused on you and cares more than any other stylist I've known. All she cares about is your satisfaction and giving you exactly what you want. She's amazing. First of all, I don't normally write reviews, but in this case I just could not help myself! Over the years it has been so hard for me to find a hair stylist that is fully knowledgeable on my hair type since I am black/korean. Finally, I came across my new hairstylist Della! Thanks to my boyfriend who is a server at a local restaurant, she left a $25 gift voucher that he gave to me. Let me tell you it making the appt. was the easy part but finding their salon was another story! Its not in Old Town temecula! its in a shopping center on front street and santiago! Once I got there the salon has to be one of the most beautifully decorated salons that I've seen in Temecula/Murrieta! The receptionists are soo nice and welcoming, way nicer than a few salons that I won't name, because this review is strictly for Acappella Hair Salon. Not only that but, the whole experience truly makes up for the price of the haircut ($60). Della was so kind to sit down with me for a consultation. We went over my hair history and what direction I wanted to take next. After that she graciously offered me CUCUMBER WATER! (Can you say pinky's up?) I went on to get a full head massage and lessons on what to do and what not to do. Btw the hair products that the salon currently uses has all natural ingredients. So not only does it leave you hair smelling great but there's no build up! Not only did I receive Five-star service from both the staff and Della. But I gained knowledge on all things hair. The pricing was very affordable and fair with great quality, and amazing customer service. My hair was cut by Monica Picazo. She was absolutely amazing! She took very good care of me before, during, and after my appointment. Every time i go she always offers to bring me water or coffee, and once my appointment coincided with my gym time, and she even offered to give me one of her protein bars she had just bought that day. Shes a very down to earth easy to talk to girl, and as a guy i don't normally go to hair salons, but the atmosphere is very inviting to anyone, and Monica makes you feel very comfortable. The quality hair cut she gave me is a 5/5 stars. I have never gotten a good haircut until i went to Monica Picazo. The haircut I got from her was very stylish and confidence building i have to say. Along with the haircut she gave me a hot towel and scalp massage improving the experience all around. From now on I only get my hair cut from Monica. After moving to Temecula I was in search for a new salon. I decided to try Acappella after seeing a flyer and researching them online. My first visit was excellent! I have been to several salons and Kevin and his assistant exceeded my expectations. I'm very pleased with the cut, color, and service I receive each and every time. The consistency is what stands out the most. Unlike other places I've been to, after a couple visits the customer service and that "special" client feeling starts to fade. So far, not with Acappella. Infact, I've been so impressed, I've recruited my mom to try him. She has always struggled with finding a good stylist to produce a great cut with her style and type of hair. Kevin created a masterpiece for her. His experience and talent shows. He offers much more than "just a cut". She glows and absolutely loves the new look. Do not go to Lynn for a DIVA curl specialist....went in yesterday for a "consult" and wow was she a B***H! I drove 15 miles for her to tell me that she is not taking any new clients unless we are a good fit?? I have long curly hair, check! I use Diva curl product, check! I dont straighten my hair, check! I make 8 figures a year, check! Guess we were not a good fit after she told me she will not color my hair and when I was READY to CUT my hair, not trim I can go back...lol! I was there with her for 3 minutes and heard more about how she wants to retire then anything! Ive taken my daughters there and we will NO longer give them our biz! Terrible customer service....guess I would be cranky too if I had that faded tasteless wrist band tattoo too....Lynn retire yourself! I am a frequent client at the Acappella Design & Color Studio. The salon was a wonderful ambiance, warm and classy. Everyone who works there is extremely courteous and friendly. Dellamaria has been my stylist for 2 years. What I appreciate most about Dellamaria is her smart and thoughtful approach to caring for and styling my hair. When I first went to Dellamaria my hair was damaged and the color was awful. I had seen how well Dellamaria was styling and coloring my mother's hair. My mom's hair would look better and better each time she came back from an appointment with Della. So I went to get her help with mine. The products that she uses have worked wonders. My hair is the healthiest that it has been in 17 years. It is evident that Dellamaria loves her art (not work). She is a very talented professional. I had long hair for more than ten years and it was time for a change. I was nervous and I wasn't sure what new look I was going for. Mirasol Wade took care of me. She chopped off all of the length and gave me a very stylish bob right up to my chin. Even though it was a HUGE change, she reassured me that it would be a great look for the shape of my face. When she was done, I totally LOVED it! I've been going back to her since. Each month she does something a little different. I really like the atmosphere and with a crazy busy schedule, it is really cool to go somewhere and feel like a princess for an hour or two, then leave feeling like a queen. I hesitated to write this review because I really like being seen by Mirasol. For selfish reasons, I didn't want too many people to flock to her and make it harder for me to get in. Abigail is by far the best! It is extremely difficult to find a stylist who specializes in blondes, so I was thankful to be referred to Abigail. She took my hair and totally transformed it into a bright, radiant, blonde color all while adding some darker low lights to accent it and make it appear fuller. Typically when you go blonde, the products used are very damaging. Since my visit with Abigail, my hair has only gotten healthier. The products she used on my hair have done wonders. I definitely recommend the Eufora product line, especially the Leave In Repair Treatment. It has done wonders on my hair. I drive all the way from Rancho Cucamonga to Temecula now to have Abigail do my hair. I won't find another stylist who is as efficient as she is and who truly cares for her clients and her craft. Most amazing experience ever! I will never go any where else to get my hair done. They are the most friendly, welcoming people to be around. They go out of their way to make sure your comfortable! from the time i walked in i felt uneasy. i was not greated and stood at the front desk for 10 minutes til i was helped. front desk girls were talking among themselves and other stylists as well as answering phones.come to find out my stylist was one of the few talking with the other girls. im a mother of 2 and im on a time schedule.I dont like to get my hair cut much but my friend reffered me to the stylist Abigail S. as a first time client. i was getting a color and cut. my cut was complimentary because im a first time client. my color came out okay!! i was looking for something more blonde than yellow. My cut was HORRIBLE!! my hair is really long and abigail doesnt understand the concept of long layers. she thinned my hair and its not thick. my layers have no blending:( very disappointed in my cut and will not return to abigail. she needs to listen to her clients needs and wants. read more

Abigail who was Sherri's assistant 2 years ago was promoted by Sherri to the styling floor and I couldn't be happier having her to myself now. I decided to try yet another stylist in one more salon, so I gave Acappella a try, and boy am I thrilled that I did! Abigail really listened to me. She didn't rush me when I was explaining what look I was hoping to achieve. Abigail took the time to explain what she was doing, even what the cut is called. I have used several services at Acappella Salon over the years. For your facial and message, you cannot beat Bonnie. She is not only competent beyond expectations, but always smiling, pleasant and wants your time to be about "you"! I've known Bonnie for years and am especially happy to have her back in Temecula. As for hair stylists, my recommendation would be Lisa Dawn, especially if you have very short hair. She is an expert, gives a killer haircut, remembers what you like and dislike, gives you her full attention, uses the best of products and can fix a messed up haircut like no one else! I would give Acappella 5 stars but I find the front desk is often lacking in some basic skills....but don't let that put you off giving anyone in the salon a chance to pamper you. I usually got to Supercuts or an equivalent to get my haircut. But, I decided to give Acappella a try as I heard good things. I hired Danielle to cut my hair. It had been a long time and my hair had grown damaged and shaggy. Danielle did a fantastic job and gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had. My favorite part of the experience was that I didn't have to get too specific. Danielle asked me about my hair's qualities and my preference for clippers or sheers and that was it. Her experience and savvy filled in the blanks and left me with an excellent product. This Salon is awesome! My hair stylest is Nicole. She is very sweet, funny and she cares about her customers. I had my hair done at a salon in Menifee, CA before I found Nicole. The stylest in Menifee ruiened my hair and made it very brittle and chopped chuncks out of my long hair, which created thinness. Nicole listened to my complaints about the other stylest, understood what I wanted and providing me a monthly treatment to help build my hair back to good health. Now my hair is fuller, less brittle, softer and she has color corrected the other stylest's mistake. The color is beautiful and my hair looks great! Absolutely love this salon. They used to be located near 19th Hole Golf Carts, and that is how I found them. I have been having my services done here for years now. Sherry is so knowledgeable and friendly. Her assistant always makes time for me, and is absolutely the most amazing assistant I have had the pleasure of working with. My hair color is always perfection. All the hair services I have done over the years have been top tier. I have tried other salons and always come back, because you can't beat the quality from this salon. The atmosphere here is so relaxing.
