Great açaí spot with a wonderful base, fresh fruit, and generous toppings. The space was clean, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend! Will definitely be returning

My bowl was super fresh and tasted amazing. Definitely coming back soon. I also like that you can take your time and view the menu and order at a tablet.

What stuck out with the lamb chops and the lamb shank . it was very tender. Our waitress and waiters were on point about who ordered what drink and what desserts. But for the employees that were going around with the meat was a kind of difficult. It was hard to get the lambs, but maybe they were just out of it so quickly because it was really good. Honestly, next time I would just get the lamb and the salad bar. Make sure to get small cuts of meat because there's been times when I asked for medium, but they will give me rare instead. So if they give you a cut you don't like, you can avoid food waste. I wish they gave us a list of what drinks that we could have. They had lemonade mixed with other fruits, but not Brazilian lemonade that was made with the rind. I don't think my coworkers knew there were an options besides basic soda and sparkling water. Mind you the lemonade mixture was pretty good. It's just sad they do not have the Brazilian lemonade with the rind. Maybe the tables were chaotic but the people next to me and myself weren't able to get our water cups refilled. The tables and chairs were even, stable, and steady . We had a lot of people so we had to have them all connected. There's free parking in the garage attached to the movie theater above the third floor . This is my go-to parking garage when I'm in this area. Compared to other Brazilian steakhouses, this place has some points to work on. There is potential.

There's a beautiful authentic Brazilian feel when you enter inside. The tile on the floor is beautiful and it really makes me want to travel. My server, karen, was great. Though they didn't have most of what I wanted (and this being my first time annnnd being super hungry) I still respect that she kept her cool and tried to give me options. I order the passion fruit juice and tried the Churrasco Gaucho with collard greens and rice. The juice was an 8 out of 10. Not too sweet and a really nice refreshing flavor. I think if it was a little bit colder it would have been a point or so higher. churrasco gaucho was a solid 9 out of 10. It was super flavorful from meat to me. It came with steak, pork, sausage, and chicken. All very very flavorful. The collard greens were a nice surprise. I was concerned when she said they it was fried but it was fried very lightly with olive oil. The flavor was absolutely delicious. And the texture was nice. Not hard not soft just perfectly chewable.. I know that sounds weird but it was. Another nice surprise was the rice. It was literally Delicious By itself. I am not one to season my white rice at home so, that's what really made me surprise but goodness gracious I could have eaten the rice by itself and I'm not a rice girl like that. Overall, I am certainly going to come here again. I am so excited that I decided to try it randomly today. I love trying out new restaurants and this place is going to be on my list for a while.

Time to Appetizers: 20 minutes Time to Entree: 25 minutes Arrived at 2:30PM on a Saturday and were directed to sit anywhere. We sat near the buffet, which was a bit unclear. There was a live guitarist/singer playing which was a fantastic vibe. A complimentary basket of four pieces of cheese bread was brought out, excellent way to start the meal! For two people, we ordered: 2x Coxinha (3.5/5): While the chicken is a tad dry, it's complimented well by the creamy sauce 1x Kibe (3/5): Reminded me of a meatball crossed with a falafel, like something you'd order on a skewer. Not too grainy and a nice smoky flavor. 1x Risole de Camarao (4.5/5): I thought this was a better version of the Coxinha. The shrimp flavor really permeates and reminds you of a shrimp risotto in a single bite. Churrasco Gaucho (16oz) (2/5): We decided to get this to sample all of the meats. Unfortunately I thought everything was really salty. Maybe it's characteristic of the Brazilian grilling style, because the smoky flavors did come through, but it just felt too salty for me on everything. Honestly maybe it just needed some kind of vegetable besides beans to help offset. Whatever their chili sauce is (5/5): I have no idea what this is but it reminds me of mashed up bird eye chili sauce..it's really good. Sprinkle it on everything. Helps with the saltiness of things. Milk Flan (4/5): A rich custard style of flan, thick and very sharable. Not too sweet. I liked this as a great palate cleanser. Service was really prompt and friendly. Paid via inKind with no issues.

We had a reservation for 3 at 6:45 PM and were seated promptly with no issues. Chama has a reputation for being the best Brazilian steakhouse in Houston, and I have always considered it as such. The service is phenomenal and consistent, unlike other AYCE churrascarias that do a big wave of meat up front and then ignore your table. However, Chama has changed significantly since the last time I was here a few years ago. Most noticeably, the price has gone up significantly. I don't blame them with the beef price increase in the US but it is a hefty tag. Secondly, several dishes are basically upon-request. The lobster bisque, for example, is no longer self-service. Additionally, sausage and some meats come very rarely and should be asked for so they can be prepared. Salad bar: I'd say relatively standard, I usually load up on the salmon, a piece of pork belly, and some asparagus and cheeses to reset meat flavors. Overall, for the popular cuts, I tried to get a bit of each. My general ratings are as follows, but I would emphasize that relative to other spots they are great cuts in general. New York Strip (3/5): Incredibly buttery almost to the point of oily. Rack of lamb (4.5/5): Deliciously gamey, very tender Picanha (5/5): The house special and well deserved; extremely tender and flavorful. Bottom sirloin (3.5/5): Slightly less heavy than the NY Strip but overall wouldn't take too much over the better cuts. Ribeye (4.5/5): Right behind the picanha in terms of tender meats. Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon (2.5-4.5/5): I had one piece that was actually pretty tough, and another that was perfect. Don't let it sit too long I guess. Upon request (did not come around in the first ~hour): Shrimp (4/5): Quite salty, but really good mix in flavors Costela (Beef rib) (5/5): Fatty, delicious flavors, really tender. Don't let it get cold. Sausage (2/5): Too fatty for me but it was enjoyed by others I was with. Other things that came around rarely - polenta, the fried cheese they can put honey on, and some other sides. But, everything will come if you ask. Lastly, their flan is very rich and sharable and we got it to-go after getting stuffed (for a birthday). Shoutout to our fantastic waitress Romy for being attentive to allergies and getting us the cuts we really wanted. Chama is definitely still a fantastic spot to celebrate something or really indulge. I've got to be careful with cholesterol and reset afterwards though.

Each person you ask will give you a different answer (preference really). For me (personally), I like the service, food and ambience at Avenida. Especially the meat choices (see menu for more info). They have an enormous salad bar with every fixing you could think of. Now that I've gone so many times, I actually skip the salad bar and go straight meat! My favorites are : bottom sirloin (always tender, juicy, a little salty and oh so goood). Rib eye cap was amazingly good, and Picanha . Others that hit the spot are the bacon wrapped filet minion , beef ribs and the shrimp. That cheese with honey glaze is amazing! Keep in mind, dinner during the holidays was about $65 per person. The sides are okay. I mostly go to the cheesy bread (yes it's fresh, cheesy and good) and the fried banana (not too sweet just enough). They do have desserts but I don't remember any enough to provide. By this point, I've eaten so much meat (and food) I never have room for dessert :) I do see a few people order coffee after their meal for a pick er upper! The drinks are good here. Just depends what you like. I usually get the smoked old fashioned and my wife gets their Calpirinha. I'll definitely be back! Remember to get a reservation through open table!

We've…read moretried many of them around Houston -- and honestly, Avenida stands out as the best when it comes to meat quality and variety of cuts, especially compared to other well-known Brazilian steakhouses in the same price range like Fogo de Chão and Gauchos Do Sul. Besides the typical cuts like picanha, top sirloin, bottom sirloin, and lamb chops, Avenida also offers Wagyu steak, ribeye, NY strip, salmon, shrimp, and even lobster soup. I prefer my steaks medium rare, and the meat was incredibly tender. My favorites were the top sirloin, lamb chops, and filet mignon. The service was phenomenal. They don't play the usual games that many Brazilian steakhouses do by bringing out the cheaper cuts first to fill you up. Instead, they consistently walk around serving a wide variety of meats throughout the meal, which really elevated the experience. Honestly, the only thing holding this restaurant back is the interior design and exterior appearance. I can barely notice the restaurant while driving by because the outside signage and overall presentation don't stand out. Meanwhile, Fogo de Chão (in Katy for example) catches attention immediately because the building and interior feel upscale and polished. Avenida seriously has better meat quality in my opinion, but the restaurant could benefit greatly from renovating the interior, improving the lighting, and creating a more modern and inviting romantic vibe. The food and service deserve a much busier crowd.

You have staff walking around, offering you different cuts of meat and even grilled cheese. There's a tiny selection of cold dishes and accompaniments- the pork belly was too hard to chew, the empanadas were cold and hard, they also had beans and rice and sushi... Can't recommend, I truly was hoping this would be an alternative as most other places are kind of far from the area.
