There are many choices for getting ones carpets cleaned. How to decide is not easy. Yelp has always come through for me and they did it in a big way by helping me find Accel Carpet Cleaning. From the first phone call with Guy Sr., the owner, his attention to detail and communication skills were evident. Those same skills were met or exceeded by his on-the-job performance, along with his son Guy Jr. and assistant Alberto. Guy called the day of the appointment to confirm the ETA, called again when on the way. Upon arrival, they were professional, immediately went to work, answered all questions, while displaying humor and sincere devotion to the task at hand. Upon completion, Guy again asked again if I had any concerns or saw areas that needed additional attention. There were none. The next day I received a follow-up call from Guy asking if all was well or if they needed to return at no charge to correct anything missed. Nothing was. There are so many carpet cleaners out there so it was difficult to choose. Looking at the reviews, I chose Accel and happy that I did. Good customer service is difficult to find these days, but Guy excels in it. From calling me that he was on his way to following up after he cleaned my carpet to see if there were any issues. He measured my rooms, and gave me a quote that was lower than the estimate when I set up my appointment. Guy Jr. pre-scrubbed areas, moved furniture and did a wonderful job. Guy and his team are awesome! They came into our flower shop on Saturday, to clean our carpets that had been neglected by our previous carpet cleaners. Our previous cleaner (who we used for over 15 years) failed to show up for 2 appointments, and our carpets were a disaster. Accel came in and got stains out that were years old. My beige carpet was starting to look like a grey carpet. So I called Empire Chemdry, what I got was a guy who said he couldn't clean the carpet for the agreed phone price, then tried to upsell me another $200 worth of services, bye, bye Empire Chemdry. Then I called Accel, based on their reviews.They cleaned the carpet for a very reasonable price and did a great job. The stairs had been a nightmare, especially leading from the leaky Harley up from the garage. They completely removed 3 years worth of dirt damage. They were positive, fast and the owner even called back the next day to make sure I was happy with the work. Guy works hard to make his service the best. Great service! After doing some quick google and yelp searches I called Guy to get a quote to clean our three piece sectional couch. The quote Guy gave me was about $50 less than everyone else. Based on his great yelp rating and good quote I booked the service for 9:30 AM on a Friday. Guy called the night before to confirm the appointment and again in the morning to let me know he was running 15 minutes behind, which I thought was very nice. Once he arrived he looked over the couch and told me it actually had less upholstery than he expected and dropped the quote by another $40. What an honest guy! Than he went to work. This Guy does awesome work. I called him in the morning and he was able to come out the same day and did great work at the same prices I was quoted by other companies that were a couple weeks out. He also offered to come back out for free if after the carpet dried, I was not happy with the results. I have now had Guy out to clean my carpets on 4 different occasions and he is still as great and professional. We were moving out of a rental house and had him come do the carpets 3 days before we were to hand over the keys. The carpets looked great as usual. However the day after, our Great Dane had a little panic attack and chewed off his nail. He then proceeded to walk through EVERY ROOM IN THE HOUSE. My husband got home from work and thought he walked into a crime scene, there was so much blood! He called Guy (a little hysterically) and Guy talked him down. He came out the next morning and cleaned up all the blood! There were no stains to be found! We were able to get our full deposit back. We now have Guy on speed dial. He's been out to our new house to clean twice and is always available on short notice. He's also just got a terrific, positive attitude. We'll never use anyone else! read more

Our old landlord required that the carpets in our old apartment be professionally cleaned. Fine. Stupid, but fine. We called Guy and he did an amazing job. He was fast, professional, and had the best prices. This is all fine and good, but what really amazed us was happened after he cleaned the carpets in the apartment. We were moving because I had just bought a house. It was a Short Sale and wasn't treated nicely by its previous owner. Think of the party house you went to in your early twenties and then imagine it even dirtier. The carpet in the family room was disgusting! It had dirt, garbage, fluids (of various origins) and ash trays dumped on it. After removing the debris we thought it was a goner. Since Guy was already at our apartment we asked if he could zip by after and give it the once over. Thirty minutes later it looked like a new carpet. I may only have one room in my house with carpet right now, but when that carpet needs cleaning I'll be calling Guy and Accel! read more

Fantastic experience with Guy. Had some carpets which had some traffic stains I never thought he'd get out. He gave them a good workover the first time but one of the stains came back. Certainly no fault of his - he cleaned the carpet fibers very well but one stain made it down to the pad so it wicked back up a bit. He warned me that might happen so when I called him back, he came out right away and took care of it a second time. Very good prices too. He's definitely going to get repeat business from me.
