Fantastic experience with Guy. Had some carpets which had some traffic stains I never thought he'd get out. He gave them a good workover the first time but one of the stains came back. Certainly no fault of his - he cleaned the carpet fibers very well but one stain made it down to the pad so it wicked back up a bit. He warned me that might happen so when I called him back, he came out right away and took care of it a second time. Very good prices too. He's definitely going to get repeat business from me. I had a disappointing experience with Accel. I called and spoke to Guy, the owner. He asked several questions about the condition of the carpet, my home, and if I wanted the furniture moved, which I did. He gave me a price range, but because I didn't want surprises or add-ons, I asked if someone could stop by to look at the carpet when they were in the area to confirm the price. An employee came by, said it was in great shape and said it was only very lightly soiled. He stated I would receive an email with the price after he conferred with Guy. I never received the email and called Guy to inquire. Guy said he forgot about sending the email and gave me a price $50 higher than the high end of the range he had given me the previous week even though there were no stains and the carpet was only lightly soiled. He said "Well look, I sent someone out there to look at your carpet for free," as if he had done me a big favor. Several times he said ** I ** should be understanding. No sorry, ** he ** should be "understanding" since he forgot to send the price and wanted to charge $50 over the high end of the range. He said he would talk to the estimator and get back with me, to which I said, this is your company isn't it, why do you need to recontact the estimator? Who needs that nonsense? I will go elsewhere for a carpet cleaner. read more

I had a great experience with Guy and the gentleman who came with him. We were moving into a new place, and they met us the day before we were moving in. Making an appointment was very easy, and they were able to slot me in at the perfect time for me. Day of, they were running just a little behind, and they called well in advance to let me know and apologize if it was an inconvenience. It was not, as I was busy moving, but I appreciated the early communication. Once they arrived, they were extremely friendly and efficient. The quote they gave me when I scheduled (when they hadn't seen the house) was pretty much spot on. They were in and out in under two hours, and payment was super easy. I called Accel on relatively short notice for a carpet cleaning and Guy exceeded our expectations. He was enthusiastic and professional during our initial phone call and happily answered my many questions. I wasn't able to be present for the carpet cleaning, but my husband was home and was so impressed with the work which is unusual for my husband. He said he could hear Guy scrubbing away for 20 minutes at a time on some of our stains that had been there since we moved in 5 years ago. When I came home I could see and feel the difference in the carpet. My husband also noted Guy to be very professional and polite; he put on booties as soon as he came in the house, and let us know to be sure to call him back if we were unhappy with the work in any way. Guy Jr. came out today to clean the carpets in our new house. This is the second time we've hired Accel and like last time, he demonstrated again why they are absolutely the best in the business. Our carpets are over 10 years old and they look brand new now. He even propped up a heavy bookcase so that he could clean underneath and left me the blocks so I can remove them later after everything is dry. The estimate he gave for services on the phone was dead on to the actual cost and honestly I would have paid double for the work he did. To top it off, Guy Jr. has seriously the best and most joyful attitude of anyone I've ever met. He makes everyone he meets feel like a million dollars. Best carpet cleaning I have ever had done. Guy the owner did a great job. He took his time and got our white carpets white again. He also took his time and extracted all the excess water. The hurry up outfits clean your carpets in such a hurry that they leave a lot of water still in the carpets adding extra dry time and stains that resurface when they dry. It shows in the quality of the cleaning, the genuine kindness they display, and the pleasant attitude. I paid the same price for these guys as I was quoted by other, bigger, less personal cleaners after my cat decided that my office was her toilet forever. They finished 2 bedrooms, halls, and stairways in a couple hours, and everything smells awesome and the cat hasn't sniffed her old improvised cat toilet hole again, the smell and oils are gone, even to her.
