On January 23, my son was seen for a consultation with Dr. Degan. X-rays revealed that a retained baby tooth needed extraction before his scheduled orthodontic brackets on January 30. This extraction was time-sensitive for proper orthodontic treatment. An appointment for extraction under anesthesia was scheduled for February 13. During the scheduling process, I felt rushed through paperwork and was not provided with full information. Despite repeated requests for anesthesiologist contact information to discuss questions about my son's care, the office repeatedly told me the anesthesiologist would only call the day before the procedure. After many attempts, I was finally able to speak with the anesthesiologist, who addressed all my questions and confirmed the procedure was cleared. Despite this, I was later informed that the appointment could not proceed because the office mistakenly reported that I had canceled it. As a result, the procedure was postponed, and no new date could initially be confirmed. At no point did I request to cancel the appointment. My concerns were solely about ensuring my son's safety and understanding the procedure. Miscommunication by the office caused unnecessary delay and stress. The negligence toward a child is deeply disturbing. Parents, especially those with children who have special needs, please be cautious when considering this practice. Misunderstandings here can have real consequences for a child's health and treatment. Within an hour the Dr had called in a prescription for much needed pain medication; and his assistant had scheduled me for an appointment the first business day after Christmas. Mind you, this wasn't just an after hours request. This was Christmas Day! I work in healthcare as a Paramedic. Sadly, this level of customer service isn't the industry norm. From the time I booked and left my appointment, nothing but great customer service…read more After finding out I had split my tooth in half and needed a bone graph extraction from my dentist, I needed to find an oral surgeon asap with all the pain I had to deal with when trying to chew. Unfortunately, my dentist could not find an oral surgeon who could see me right away. In addition, an oral surgeon who does local anesthesia. My personal choice, I did not want to be sedated esp since I believed this to be a simple extraction. The majority of oral surgeons do sedation, and I was lucky to find this oral surgeon to saw me right away and was able to use local anesthesia. The whole procedure prob took at least 30 minutes. It was quick and easy. They have an updated X-ray machine where you don't have to keep biting down and instead, the one they have is very quick and easy. During the extraction, they had me on a blood pressure monitor to ensure I was ok. I am on day 1 after the procedure and believe it or not, I am not in pain at all. Overall experience, couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the individual answering my phone calls, to the front desk to the dental assistant and surgeon.

Now, I am in my late 60's finding myself again in the oral surgery chair. I had this one last tooth to be extracted, and it was a very big one. I cannot tell you how wonderful and understanding this crew was with me! Dr Daccache is an amazing person, not only dentist. When he came in the room I was crying like a little girl. He smiled and sat down next to me, and he promised me in a soft voice that he would be as gentle as he could be. I have terrible veins, he took my her that hand and said that it will be ok, he told me just relax and breathe slowly. I looked at him, as I felt that I was gently slipping easily away. When I woke up, my adoring husband was driving us home. When we got home, he helped me out of the car and up the stairs to our house. My husband gave me a cup of tomato soup and a ginger ale to drink. A couple hours later, one of the team members called to see how I was getting on. I told her that I thought the entire staff was empathetic to my needs. I did not have excess blood and there was literally no swelling at all! That I was resting very comfortably.
