The team at Accord Air is amazing! We moved into a new place and the distribution of air between upstairs and downstairs was way off. The upstairs only got a wisp of air while the downstairs was a full tornado. I called and someone was sent out the next day. They asked what my issue was, assured me they understood, and got to work investigating the issue. After about an hour, they let me know what needed to happen and gave me quote which seemed very reasonable. They came to do the work later in the week and were very professional. They did a great job resolving the issue and making some other changes I requested. I'd requested service from two of the larger HVAC companies in the area and they both tried to upsell me on unnecessary things (blower cleaning and hard-start kit) and told me there was nothing to be done about my issue. I had my ac/heat installed in October of 2021. My husband and I received several quotes on both central air and mini splits form different companies. We had AC added to our furnace. Everyone arrived on time and they all were competent gentlemen. The installation works, looks clean,, efficient and it actually cost less than the quote since the duct system supported a smaller, than quoted AC unit. It took a few hours longer to install due to the necessity to substitute a component, even so it was done in a 1 1/2 days. Of note was they finished up by noon on Christmas Eve. It was time to completely replace our HVAC system after over 20 years of use. It came with the house when we purchased it new, and it never worked properly. The back or the house got all of the air while the front received virtually nothing, I had been doing research on HVAC systems for months and had a pretty good idea of what I wanted. I wanted everything and the best of everything. My biggest obstacle though was this house was a little on the big side and came with two complete HVAC units. One for one side and another for the other. This was going to be expensive. We are on propane and do not have solar. We went with a hybrid system that utilizes both a propane furnace and a heat pump. This way we have the option of heating with Propane or electricity. The heat pump also works as a condenser for the AC. Oleg prepared two proposals for me. One for a Cadillac system with all the bells and whistles and another that toned it down a little. The more moderately priced system was within our budget and was still a great system. We set a date for the installation. 8:00am sharp on Monday morning and they are ready to go. 5 or 6 techs begin attacking the old system and had it torn down and removed fast. A large truck pulls up and drops off all the new equipment. Two vans from Accord arrive loaded with everything else you could possibly need for the job. I knew this was a very big job and thought it might take a week or two. A flurry of activity went on for 2 1/2 days and then they were done. Unbelievable. It was done so fast I was just a little apprehensive. I spent a good amount of time checking their work and it was done very nicely. I have an appreciation for all things mechanical and our attic is now a work of art with shiny new ductwork running everywhere. Two additional returns were added in the ceiling and the plenums now have ductwork busting out everywhere. The furnaces were not just laid on plywood but are held up by nice supports. The same goes for the plenums. They are hung from the rafters as they should be. The heat pumps were placed on a platform and then bolted down. A clean and secure installation. Every evening before they left everything was cleaned up and organized for the next day. Slavic, the lead who ran the crew, made sure each process was done correctly. There is a reason why Accord Air gets a solid 5 stars. If you need a completely new system or just some repair work Oleg, Slavic and their team have the skills to get the job done and at a fair price. read more

I have done a LOT of research on brand and installation quotes/ methods. After initial consultation, Oleg was quick to provide a quote, recommended unit sizes, and set an installation date two weeks out. I went with a dual zone Daikin 15K btu for downstairs, vaulted ceiling living area and 9K btu for master bedroom upstairs. (super efficient at 18.9 SEER rating!!) I want to give a shout out to Oleg, at Advanced Homes Company. A year ago, I invested in a very pricey, four-unit mini-split system installed by another vendor who does work for Costco. It cost me over 10k. I am a teacher and that is a lot of money for me. I did not procure the system through Costco, but on the recommendation of another builder I was then using. The recommended vendor tried to shake me down for thousands of dollars of his fee long before the job was completed. He said he needed it to make payroll! As a female who has dabbled in construction for years, I could see he was seeing how much he could get away with by pressuring me because I am a woman. For guys rolling their eyes on this--all true. For women, you get it. Still under warranty, I encountered a mechanical issue with one of the units I had only turned on twice in the year since the system was installed. It sounded like an electrical short. The original vendor did not return calls or place me on his work calendar. In exasperation, I read Yelp reviews, came upon Advanced Homes Company, and sensed this was the guy I should have used in the first place. Oleg, the company owner, was WONDERFUL. Over the phone, he queried me on all the issues surrounding the defective unit, gave me a likely mechanical diagnosis, and told me how he could obtain certain parts under my warranty. He was straight forward and honest about other features in the repair that could be costly but may need attending to once he began work. No doubt: This is the guy I should have used in the first place. Probably, he has lost money over the years by not being a blood-sensing shark, but he is who he is. And, in my opinion, he is someone you should have come bid your job. The other guy, of course, would show up on the day Oleg was slated to come work. I had to cancel our appointment. It turns out the issue is a faulty pump, exactly as Oleg thought it may be. The other guy took off after five minutes and said he would call me when he got the part. I am not holding my breath. I have not met Oleg yet, but I think I will be doing that very shortly. When you have thousands of dollars on the line, go with the guy who is proven and trustworthy. Read his reviews.
