I explained that I was hearing fine with the pair I have they then decided they would charge me $65.00 for the service. The past folks there never did that. I would not recommend utilizing these folks for hearing aids. Service is the most important when it comes to using hearing aids and they failed especially since you can purchase the same hearing aids with a different brand name for about $3000.00 or less.

And how right I was. Dr. Blitts calmly and patiently took me through all the audiology testing and determined I was a good candidate for hearing aids. She explained all the benefits and costs of the various options and together we chose the WideX brand based on their superior technology and comfort. Dr. Blitts showed me all the incredible features on the accompanying app and I must say I am very satisfied with both the hearing aids and particularly with Dr. Blitts caring care. She's a gem. I've had the aids on for two days now and have decided I'm keeping them. I told Vanessa I was going out of town next week and she suggested I go in for a checkup before I leave, just to make sure I'm comfortable with them and if I have questions. As for the hearing aids. They're much easier to wear and more comfortable than I imagined. Best of all is they're not noticeable at all. That was a major concern of mine. Last mention, the first place I went to that I was sent to by my insurance was double the price and I would have had to pay for follow-ups and maintenance. At Costco this service is free for I think two years. I have to read my contract again. Bottom line, I paid a lot less, without insurance, for the same kind of hearing aid. My husband has been wearing Resound aids for about six years. He has had them " tuned up" several times with another company. Recently, one hearing aid went dead and the another was full of static. Bummer. He went to the local company where the aides were purchased. They recommended an expensive rebuild or a new pair. Wanting a second opinion, he went to Advanced Hearing Care. Enter Brandon, our hero! He looked the aides over and said, " Let me take these to the back room and work some magic." And he did. In no time at all he had renovated both. I had to go to urgent care and it took almost 3 days for the bleeding to stop. I've LED on my bed my pillow and even the floor. I am 88 years old and even though he is service this community for a number of years he neglected to ask me if I was on blood thinner. I would not recommend this business. And will never go back.

They made you feel comfortable and answered all my questions directly without hesitation. I am 76 years old and this was my first hearing aid. After reviewing many options I decided to go with the Resound hearing aid. I was told that this works with Bluetooth (I still don't know what that means), But it enables me to control my hearing aids through my iPhone. I can watch television and have the sound come directly into my hearing aids, and not disturb others by having the sound turned up very loud. I can also adjust my hearing aids when I am in a restaurant, or just speaking to someone individually. The price of the hearing aids was a little higher than I expected, however, it was competitive with prices at other locations. It helped that I was given a discount, and that my insurance also picked up about 25% of the price. There was no charge for follow up visits, Which are needed to make adjustments to the hearing aids, which were done on the computer. The staff at the House Of Hearing are excellent. Dr. Margie, Jeff and Lisa were all extremely helpful, and very educational. I waited for a while before posting this review, as I wanted to see how the hearing aids worked out., and as I said before these are my first hearing aids. It took a little while for me to adjust to the hearing aids as they felt extremely foreign In my ears. However, after a while I began to adjust, and now i forget they are there.
