I found out about Chris through a Craigslist ad for RV repair, i was looking for a cheap trailer to take to Burning Man. Chris offered to help me do the shopping and went alone and inspected 4 or 5 trailers in the Stockton area for me. He found a special Burning Man trailer in Petaluma and I bought it and took it to Burning Man. The frame in the front of the trailer was rotted and the whole trailer wobbled from side to side and leaked like a sieve. After Burning Man I gave the trailer to Chris and he tore off the paneling and replaced the wood and put the paneling back. It looks perfect and will be going to many more Burning Man events. the repairs were reasonably priced and I will post the pictures of the repair here. Chris is just a straight shooter! Chris Jurado operates a mobile RV service business that serves at least the East Bay area of San Francisco. This means he comes to your location to do the work. He has twice helped us with our Airstream trailer. Chris used to work for the Airstream dealer in Tracy. They have downsized. We still need experienced coach mechanics to help us keep up these expensive trailers. There is no replacement for experience, because the parts are often expensive and orders take time to arrive. Chris provides reasoned advice on how to proceed with maintenance issues. He has helped me with an overall check up on the trailer. He has replaced a broken window. He has repaired all the external seals. We plan to replace the batteries and replace the cover on the overhead sun light opening. All these services require experience in not only ordering the right parts, but completing the service in a reasonable way. I recommend Chris to Airstream owners, and I guess to owners of other trailer brands. I trust him. read more

Chris with Accuracy RV was fantastic. We have a brand new Keystone Cougar that we purchased on the East Coast and when we moved it into the spot we are going to be staying in the deadbolt wouldn't unlock and we couldn't get into the trailer. We called the Service Department this morning and they referred us to Chris. Left Chris a message and when he called back he asked me a few questions about the trailer, told me what he thought was the problem, gave me a quote so I could let the warranty company know, and a time that he would be able to meet me. He called me back when he was on the way and replaced the lock. I will definitely call him again if I need help but I do hope it won't be for a while since it is a new rig. read more

I am having a refrigerator problem with my new toy hauler and found Chris on Yelp. He talked me through the troubleshooting and was able to diagnose the problem over the phone. Unfortunately it's not an easy fix problem, but he would not come out because there wasn't anything he could do about it. In telling me this, he saved me a $150 service call. Chris is extremely rude!! So much for being recommended by one of the largest rv dealers in town. I wouldn't use this repair service if it was my only choice!!! He returned a call and because I tried to explain the exact location of the problem on my rv to him and apparently he didn't have time to listen, he says "Oh, I can't help you" and hangs up. I didn't even get a chance to explain what was needed. I will gladly take my money elsewhere. People like him should not be able to service the public. Chris was brilliant. We called from the side of the 99 fwy after 5pm while we waiting for a tow truck, after reading the single review about his mobile service. He told us he would check on parts and call us back. When he called back within the hour, he told us he would come to us 1/2 hour before the RV parts store opened to assess what we needed and then he suggested places we could go that he would meet us. So, helpful since we were from out of town and just passing through. In the morning he arrive as promised with a truck full of tools. He was very knowledgable and he brought his father in law to help. He suggested we make the repair we needed plus replace the same part that fails often on the other side of our trailer. He quoted a mere $280 to do it all in the walmart parking lot. He offered his recommendation on local tire stores to replace our messed up tires and offered suggestions on another issue we were having. When all was said and done, he said the total was a mere $195. I can't say every repair will end up costing less cause he said my husband was a useful helper but he was more than fair plus all the shops were closed on saturday in the area, we sure were lucky we found him. In talking to Chris, he sounds like he has the kind of knowledge and experience we would want in a local repair person, we wish he was local to us. He's a family man who understands the value of a dollar and respects other peoples time and money. I think if you live in the area, you would be very pleased to have his assistance with your RV repairs. I mean it's such a hassle to take your RV for repair anyway, someone this good who comes to you is just the best for keeping your RVing simple and good. PS. The last helper mentioned this business in relation to airstreams but we have a 5th wheel Wildcat and Chris spoke about working on a variety of coaches. Chris came out to oakley to fix a hot water heater in a RV hands down the best, he always has extra parts, tells you how it is NO BS! and bam its done. What can I say, Chris is amazing. I called him to have him check on a few issues of a newly purchased used RV. He came out and quickly answered all of my questions, fixed some electrical items, fixed some other items, provided advice on what to do and not do. Chris was wonderful. Although he wasn't able to completely fix our problem, he got us back on the road. When we arrived in Manteca just for an overnight stay, our new motorhome suddenly developed some electrical problems that rendered our air conditioning inoperable, this on a Saturday evening at 5:00 p.m. After calling numerous mobile RV repair services, with no luck, Chris came to the rescue. Within 30 minutes of leaving a message with him, he returned our call and was at our campground less than 30 minutes later. He was able to get our air conditioning going so that it would be usable as we are from Southern California and were on our way up to Oregon. Ultimately, an entire switch box that transfers power between our generator and shore electricity will have to be replaced, but at least we have our air conditioning now usable again, especially since it is near 100 degrees outside. I called Chris at 9AM with an electrical problem in my 2002 Monaco Windsor. He told me that his tech, Bob, would be at my location (an hour away) by 11AM. Promptly at 11 Bob was knocking on the door. Bob was kind enough to explain how everything worked and how he was, step by step, tracking down the problem. He finally located the problem - in the battery disconnect switch. He did not have a switch on his truck but he swapped a switch that was seldom used and reconnected everything. During the 85 degree days and 50 degree nights it was wonderful to have the A/C and heat working again. Great job. My experience was with Accuracy RV Service was totally a 10+. I hired Chris, the owner of Accuracy RV to do a pre-purchase inspection on an RV I ended up buying from a Craigslist seller. Chris was awesome. He was very thorough in checking every single system on the RV, and explained to me in detail how everything on the RV worked. He was good at letting me know which of the problems he found were things that absolutely needed to be dealt with, and which issues could wait, and was extremely good at understanding my needs for the RV, and pointing out which things would be worth fixing and which things wouldn't be. He was also extremely friendly and easy to deal with, and had lots of experience with both the mechanical and the coach part of the RV. The seller whom I scheduled the appointment with showed up almost half an hour late with the RV, and Chris didn't complain or try to charge me extra for waiting. He came up with reasonable estimates for fixing the things I needed fixed, and if I ever need service on my newly bought RV, Chris will be the person I trust to do it. read more

Chris came out to my place in Tracy to provide a lockout service on my only entry door on a class A. Guide bolts were backed out and door wouldn't open. It took him an hour to get into the "fortress" and another 30 min to get the lock set off and opened. He knows what he's doing, is courteous, prompt and professional and I'll recommend him to others. Accuracy RV may be good at repairs. I don't know how good there work is. His advice sound good. But in my opinion his price is way out there. First I call around, the going price was $200 to check and repack the brakes, if it need brakes that would be an added price. I read the yelp Reviews, It turn out to be the only information I can fine on Accuracy RV. I check with the BBB on line, after I had turn my RV over to Accuracy RV and it give me the some Yelp reviews When I first contact Accuracy RV, I talk to Chris the owner of the company. I told him I just purchase a RV and I think my brakes is good, but would like them check out. He give me a price of $210.00 I ask him with checking the brakes intel and his said taking it apart checking the brakes, seal, repacking the bearing, and so forth on all four wheels, Plus addition price for parts, if needed. We take about with I know and did not know about the RV. He said he would do the brakes and check the hold couch out for $300.00. To me it sounded like a lot. But I would be safe and would know with wrong. So I want with it. After his worker took the trailer, Chris call me back, I think it's was with in any hr. {Yep! They come and got it at no charge.} I though wow! However the conversation, is not at all what I would expected. He stared with the brakes work fine, Then stated telling me that my RV is a mess it's not worth much and if he did work on it, he could not sale it for with he put into it. That through me. I lessen to him until I got company. I said to him, I would like to finish up our conversation tomorrow, he was fine with that. The next day I call, no replay. I had to go that way so I stop by so we could finish talking. Being I did not real know where he was going with the conversation. I felt I needed to understand him. When I arrived he and his helper was working, so I set my self in the shade. When he found time he come over to me and talk to me his words came across as hostile. One of the fist think he ask. was to why I was there. I let him know I called and received no answer. So being I was out there I thought I would just drop by and finish our talk. The next thing he said was I thought we were finish. I real cannot remember any good come out of this conversation. Other than {if the brakes work fine it's best to lever them alone, It's after the brakes get work on that thing start going wrong and most RV don't see that much miles anyway.} There was nothing new to report about my RV, because they have not check it at that time and he did say my unit was next, after the one he was working on. Mostly because I had other things to do, but being told how much a hr. he has to pay and with He get paid with other things that did not protein to my RV in a very Hostile way or taking. (Felt like I did something and was getting scolding for my bad behavior) I left. About 1.5hr. Not sure. But he did call me back that day. He let me know about my RV and what needs to be work on and with I could do as well. One of the thing was the hot water heater. He said this model is no longer made. He could order a model that would work for maybe about $200.00, he had already made himself clear that he charge $100.00 Hr. what we talk at his work place. I repeated with he had told me on the phone and ask him only to check the price of the hot water heater. I think this was Friday it may have been Saturday. In any case by Monday I and my husband though this is sounding like a night mare. We decide will pay that man for checking the RV out. Then I was to bring it home and hopefully we can do the work ourselves. When I call on Monday I received no replay and on Tuesday morning before 9am I talk to his answer machine again. I thought I just go pay him and pick up the RV. I got there just in time, there (Chris & one of his longtime friend) just got back from there boating trip. Nice timing. He and his friend was putting their boat a way. This took a little time. I sat in the shade and pass the time. When he was finish our conversation was on a much better tone. He ask if I come to get the RV and I said yes. I let him know we will do with we can on the RV and maybe get him to do the rest. He said {it is putty ease stuff really.} Then he notice the check book. {No check his said he give a reason, He could take cash or Pay Pal.} But I do not have a cell phone or cash. He give it some though and decided {I could take him to my bank,} he does not have a bank of his own. (He did not want the check in his company name. The check would have to be made out to Cash or his name.} I quickly put his name. I took him to may bank and after some doing they did cash the check. About the check: remember he has my RV and I did sign I would pay $300.00 for brake work and checking out my RV. I can't believe I'm reading reviews about the same man who met me at his "property" and took $500 cash without giving me a written estimate, doing the work we discussed or even giving me an itemized receipt and accounting of my money when I came 3 wks later but it wasn't done. No answer as to why except his helper had "disappeared". Also, some lame story how his batteries were all stolen so my brand new battery I'd just purchased and left for him to install must have been, too (even though we went inside his locked building and found at least 3 that weren't touched). He told me he would have to charge 150/hr so I should have his helper do the work while he mentored him. I basically got a toilet (160 quote) and my faucets fixed (60 quote). But the worst thing was my trailer wasn't ready for me to travel, & I have to buy another new battery. No way to go after him in San Joaquin Co. thru small claims so he got off scott free! read more
