Monday it was my Retinal Specialist, Dr. Schwartz, and today it was my eye surgeon, Dr. Belson. When Dr. Schwartz pronounces me STABLE for another 6 months and Dr. Belson says that with even my eye issues stacked against me, I see almost 20/20 corrected, I am one HAPPY old woman!! Unfortunately, you can't ignore vision problems but I am cared for by the best, so I know that if something weird pops up, my eye care team which also includes Dr. Taylor, my optometrist, we can address it. Having had multiple outpatient procedures at multiple different facilities who have not required "imprisonment", I am amazed at the lack of considerat I on for my time. In some of my prior experiences, I even had different people drop me off and pick me up!!!!! In addition, the waiting room temperature is unbearable.
