My three month old Volvo XC90 was damaged when a parking lot gate closed on it. The damage was actually caused by a screw that protruded from the gate arm. The screw made contact with my car between the windshield and the driver's side window. It broke the paint and put a "dimple" or a depression in the metal. Because it was in that area of the car, it didn't appear to be an easy repair, and I knew that I needed someone who knew what they were doing. A friend told me that Ace Auto Body did fantastic work, so I gave them a call. Gary, one of the owners, answered the telephone. He listened to my story and suggested that I stop by for an estimate. I drove to Ace Auto Body the next day and asked for Gary. He couldn't have been nicer. He was knowledgeable, explained what needed to be done and gave me a reasonable estimate. We recently moved here from Los Angeles. Our cars were transported to CT via open air truck. Sadly my Subaru Outback received some deep scratches that I wanted to get repaired immediately because it was leased and needed to be returned in about a month and I'm about 38.5 weeks pregnant and won't have time to do it later. My wife's new car suffered some damage to her driver side door which was slightly misaligned when shutting. I brought my car to Ace Auto Body in Hartford after having a run in with a mailbox (red 2012 Toyota Camry SE). It had scratches and dents all the way down one side. Kevin and Gary are the best. My service van was hit by a large tree during a micr-burst storm sustaining serious damage. ACE Auto sent a wrecker, picked up the van and completed a total repair of the vehicle replacing all parts with factory parts painstakingly setting everything exactly as it was before the tree!
