We had the car towed over (2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid), and they diagnosed the problem and repaired the issue quickly and at a fair price. Unfortunately, the tech made a small mistake and once we got the car home, there was more oil on the driveway and a check engine light. Ugh, again. So we called back to Scott to see what he wanted us to do. We understand that sometimes mistakes are made and issues arise. How a business owner handles those issues are the difference between good businesses and great ones. This is a great one. Scott was MUCH more upset than we were! He got us back in same day and fixed the issue at no charge! (We should have paid for a necessary part, but he would not charge us.) With everything so expensive these days, and everyone trying to stretch a buck, it's hard to know if you're leaving your car with someone who cares about it as much as you do. Scott does. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough!

After inspection, was sent a comprehensive evaluation AND was taken through all the points by Brian (Bryan?), and shown/told that car had a coolant leak that was likely going to result in having a $5000+ repair sooner than later. It's a real deal mom n pop repair shop & I can appreciate their getting behind on a job so I wanted them to know I wasn't gonna rush them or hover over them. When I picked the car up it ran a little rough. No problem, the owner said bring it back & they will check it out. They fixed the issue & I did have to pay for the needed parts but no Labor. I always judge a business more on how they respond to & take care of issues AFTER your initial service or repair, and they get two THUMBS UP for that. They are sometimes unable to answer the phone so be patient if you need to talk to anyone. I asked for pics and that they'd not drop the pan until I knew what they found. I showed up 3 days later to find the truck lifted and the pan off. When I told them I was taking it somewhere else, they said come back in an hr. I asked about the fluid and the mechanic said he'd put the old stuff back in. I told him to at least fill it to spec. When I came back to get it, they lied and told me he filled it to spec and told the service writer (in front of me) to "get this guy outta here." They didn't want to give me any paperwork but I requested it to see what was in writing and they said they'd filled the trans fluid to spec. I asked the other shop to let me know what they found and they confirmed my suspicions, there was only 1 quart of nasty fluid in there. There are plenty of other shops, don't go here!

We had never been there before, but I had just had new control arms and ball joints put in and since the tires were also brand new, my mechanic who did that work recommended an alignment. AZ Automasters kept the car overnight and my husband picked it up the following day. My husband stated that he asked the employees if the alignment was off and by how much, and that no one could answer his questions or seemed to "know anything about anything." But he did say that the employees working the morning he picked it up were not the same ones who were working when he dropped it off. He didn't leave feeling super confident but they said the car was done so he left and that was that. This car is kept in a garage, has not been in any accidents, hit any curbs or anything of that nature, and is well loved. I have put 8000 miles on the vehicle since the alignment. The other day we realized that the tires should probably be rotated and were horrified to notice that the outside of the passenger front tire was completely bald, the inside of the tire barely worn. We went over to where we purchased the tires as they are warranteed to 80,000 miles, but because they deemed it an "alignment issue", I had to purchase a brand new tire out of pocket. Not only did I waste $118.00 at AZ Automasters as they did not complete the alignment I paid for, I'm out an additional $145 for a new tire and still need to get the car aligned. I'll certainly be getting alignment, but it won't be at AZ Automasters. *Edit* I just had a front end alignment at a reputable shop where the employees actually care about their customers. They had to take a torch to the tie-rod jam nuts as they were totally locked up on both sides. This would NOT have had to be done had AZ Automasters done the work they were paid to do a year and a half ago. Also, this shop, who did the alignment using lasers, was able to show us via computer what they adjusted and how much, which AZ Automasters could not do for us. And this new place was cheaper! Lesson learned to shop around!

I met with Logan for a quote immediately after calling Friendly Auto, who was incredibly professional and kind enough to spend a minute putting the cover piece back in for me since I couldn't reach it. Logan gave me a quote, saying the timing could take anywhere from half hour to an hour due to different pieces needing to be removed to access the bulb area. We scheduled an appointment for the following day to get the bulbs replaced. The next day, Eric (manager) helped me get situated. With the service ending up being under a half hour of labor, he ended up reducing the cost of the service due to it being quicker than expected (which was honorable). You don't always see that kind of honesty in the auto service nowadays and it was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back here and we're pleased with the service provided!
