After recurrent ear infections, the groomer went out of her way to shame the process not knowing my dog's medical history, treatment process or living situation. Although she likely comes from a good place, it is unnecessary to put owners through guilt. I shared this story with my mother which made her feel worse. Also, now cash pay. There's something very special about Annie, excellent customer service, genuine, sincere and she cares about the well-being of your pup. I received responses from other pet groomers, but none of them demonstrated compassion and sincerity like she did. Finally, she made me feel very good about the entire process, and very pleasant to talk to. She listened and made a few recommendations of her own that sold me. My pup is a senior Alaskan Malamute, not easy to handle. He was recently prescribed trazodone for any stressful situation, I've never given him any sedatives, but I was willing to just to make it easier for the groomer and my pup. However, she was against drugging him. She even spoke with the groomer, and both reassured me that he doesn't need any meds, and sure enough, they were right. To me that spoke very highly of this business because they care of the well-being of your pup. There are very professional, patient and accommodating. I will forever be grateful to her and the staff. Next, I want to thank and recommend William, he transformed my pup from rags to riches Lol He did a phenomenal job 10/10. He knows exactly what your pup needs and executes. As you can see, my pup really needed a deep cleaning/grooming and he made it happen. There isn't a job too big for him, clearly, he was more than capable of handling my chunky monkey Lol Overall, you will not be disappointed. They went above and beyond for my pup and I. When I first started taking her, she was extremely anxious, but with time she's adapted and absolutely loves it there now. They know how to handle dogs, the environment is structured and supervised; not just dogs in a giant room unsupervised. She gets real care and attention. She runs up to Priscilla and Daisy with kisses and I can go to work knowing she's safe and having an amazing time. I also love that they do cute activities like pool time and post Instagram stories throughout the day so I can see what's happening. They cut his hair shorter than asked, cut off his brows (which I specifically told them NOT to do twice before they told him back), and gave him the most choppy, uneven hair cut. He's never had a haircut this horrible. I could have done a better job if I threw the scissors at my dog blindfolded. Def DO NOT recommend.

Very Disappointing Experience With Management…read more We scheduled our two-year-old Toy Poodle for an 11:00 AM grooming appointment about a week in advance, and we arrived on time. Our dog is extremely friendly, happy, and easygoing. The groomer herself was pleasant, available, and told us she was ready to start. Unfortunately, our experience with the manager was completely different. The manager told my wife that our dog would have to be kept in a cage and that we would be charged an additional fee. She also said that after the grooming and shower, our dog would again be placed in the cage. When my wife asked what the additional charge was for, the manager's attitude was rude and disrespectful. What I don't understand is this: If we made an appointment a week in advance, arrived exactly at 11:00 AM, and the groomer was available and ready, why should our dog have to wait in a cage and why should we be asked to pay an additional charge? I want to be fair--the groomer was nice and professional, and our complaint is not about her. Our problem was specifically with the manager and how she handled and communicated the situation. I hope the owner reads this review because good groomers can build a business, but poor customer service from management can drive good customers away. I strongly recommend that the owner review what happened and clarify the business's policies regarding appointment times, cage time, and additional fees.

Groomer: Ray As always, when we visit, there's always…read morewonderful staff members there to greet us. The location is so spotless and the storefront is always organized and dust-free. You'll find goodies to purchase for your pets and for the parents, too I like the ambience and the music they play. Today we had Ray as our groomer. He was awesome. He was very attentive with our fur baby's coat. He's a Shorkie so he has the width of a Shih Tzu and the colors, length and height of Yorkshire Terrier. He looks like a little Ewok. Ray made sure he asked about any concerns we had about styling Bozley's coat. We wanted to only trim his natural Mohawk but close for the rest of his body because it's a hot summer. He did such an excellent job with Bozley's coat and our little Bozley was so happy! We can tell he feels much lighter and cooler. We know that Bozley loves visiting the Hollywood Pet Center because he knows he's going to feel like a million bucks! Ray is really nice, always had a huge smile and was really good with Bozley. This is why we will be loyal customers for years to come. Ray, you've got a new regular!
