They are making a killing off of us right now! For the most part, their staff is helpful and friendly. I've gone during the day so I've never had to wait for a register since there aren't many other people there. The layout is a little funky. The Home Depots we had in California had a more efficient setup, in my opinion. The garden department definitely needs some work. There is a much better selection at the HD in Collinsville than here. I was very disappointed to see that each time I went, their trees out front were fallen over on their sides and a lot of plants needed watering. Who wants to buy anything when they look like that?? With such limited choices for home supplies in the area, hopefully HD will step up in this department. I do have to give a big thumbs up to the lady in the windows and blinds department who cut our blinds and had them ready within an hour. That totally rocked!

I had to call to find out if they knew I was here (20 minutes into waiting) . Lady acted like she didn't know. I finally went in, and that's when another lady, I guess went to the back to get my order. WTH! I don't know how they will send an email that the order is ready and then it's not. 40 minutes later, I'm the one loading my order.

She immediately start correcting my verbiage when she knew what I was talking about. I told her that I would come to review some of the facets that were available. She told me that I had to have an appointment to visit there show room. Which she said was not open. She also told me that I had to work through a plumber to visit and purchase items. I told here that I was a license plumber and thanked her for her candor. She hurried off the phone. I guess with an area code of 630 she assumed that I was not a plumber. Or that my articulation with words was not welcomed by her. I was left with the feeling that this southern Illinois plumbing establishment is not people friendly.

We got good reputation products at a very fair price. I have been to Lowe's often in the past, and usually leave with something I wanted/needed. I did however feel alone and uncared for, unsupported in my purchase. Even if an associate helped in some way, they weren't knowledgeable or pleasant about it. I wanted to rip my hair out by the end of the week. Emailed corporate who responded that the store higher ups would be calling us in 24 hours. They never did. We won't be returning. My husband was sent down the road with empty bottles. This task would have taken 5 minutes, but I guess it was too cold for the employee to be inconvenienced. I stopped in and as always when I'm walking in the door I was greeted by several employees asking if I needed help. They always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They have essentially stole $700 from me and have given me the run around, told me I would be contacted, and it's all been lies from Ashley. They are now saying since it the warranty had expired, there is nothing they will/can do and in store credit is the only option I have. Do not buy the warranty from this company, total scam.

Worst experience with a furniture store ever! sales Associate entered wrong table on my order…read more Manager double checked the order and approved it even though it was wrong. So of course wrong table gets delivered and isn't usable with the counter height stools ordered because the table is too short. so am told the table that was ordered is discontinued and only one available is floor model which is scratched on the top. Gets worse this store insists the only way they will swap out the wrong table for the scratched floor model is if I return the new stools and take the floor model stools. this is rediculous, wants me to give up new stools for basically used ones all On their mistake not mine. I call corporate they just pass it back to the store manager. BTW store manager gives me the runaround and doesn't make decisions has to pass this off to his boss who offers the same thing take it or leave it. Store manager also gave me a number to call after I already explained I called customer service at corporate and had a case created. Did this just to give me the runaround around . BTW the sales person that sold this set to me was in the store when I went back in about the wrong item being delivered. All she did was give us a phone number to call . Terrible customer service. this is still not resolved reasonably. I mean really we agreed to take a damaged table from the floor on their error but there is no way we should even be asked to return perfectly good stools that were the correct items for floor models. You know That is just not the correct way to treat your customers. do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. I know we will never shop in this store ever again nor any other Ashley Furniture Store.
