We were floored and wanted to know what in the world they did to the car. In very broken engrish, Tommy told my wife and I the timing chain needed to be replaced and told us he could not get a hold of my wife so he preformed the service anyway. Problem is, our car is three years old has 27900 miles on it and is covered by the manufactures warranty. This guy is a crook and a con. Two days after we got the car back, it acted the same way as when we brought it in so we had it towed back to BMW and was told the cold start valve needed to be replaced and so did the water pump. It was now leaking. As it turns out, the timing belt was NOT replaced or even looked at, it would appear they instead replaced the serpentine belt and tried to charge us for the timing belt. Dallas BMW warrantied the repair, replaced the water pump and cold start valve as we asked and the car runs great. We cancelled our AMX charge with Tommy Techs and called and asked for the parts they claimed to have replaced only to now have Tommy claim he could not understand what we were asking for and hung up on us! Crooks from the word GO!

Very personable, very nice, has a great smile, with twilight eyes and is a "god fearing man", but he must be in money trouble to be charging those rates. He didn't like that I showed up, because I called him out and his personable demeanor changed fast. If you want honest, go to Car Zone (small hill and belt line in Grand Prairie) ask for Aladdin. Just bring it over this morning and we will have it done by 5:00. Sounds like a small locally owned shop that you want to support and do business with right? Quick service and good price! Well, when I dropped the car off at 10:30 she confirmed 5:00 today. At 4:30 I called to see if it was done and she said it's going to take a little longer than I thought but it will be done today. At 5:30 I stopped by and they still hadn't gotten the old one out yet. She said its more complex than I thought but we will get it done before we go home. The car was finally ready at 9:30 pm so I guess give them credit for staying late (ie 2 stars and not 1). On the way home I stopped to get the alternator checked at autozone and they pointed out that the wire to the alternator wasn't even hooked up so it wasn't working properly. So I came home and had to finish the job myself. If it sounds too good to be true. It probably is. So do yourself a favor. Pay the extra money and go somewhere else!!! PS. If a company is that willing to nickel and dime it customers and hold them hostage, imagine how dishonest they are on large ticket items.
