Instead of aggressively drilling down or yanking my old set off, he removed them with so much care, which I really appreciated. He gave me the exact shape I asked for, and although my design was simple, the execution was flawless. The quality of his work speaks for itself. During my most recent appointment, I got a gel pedicure that took about two hours. I have acrylic on both of my big toes and I mentioned ahead of time that one of them was lifting slightly. I told the technician that if it needed to be replaced, I was completely okay with that. I chose a really pretty pink color, but unfortunately it turned out to be very sheer. By the time the service was finished, you could clearly see the acrylic lifting underneath, and one of the acrylics is slightly discolored, which shows through the polish. Because of that, I'm not comfortable wearing open-toed shoes. For $65 and two hours in the chair, I left feeling really disappointed. My first visit also had some issues. I asked for Gel-X, and it seemed like it might have been the first time the technician had done that service. The nails were all slightly different shapes, and when I got home I realized a topcoat was missed on my thumb. I ended up walking around for three weeks with one nail looking different from the rest. At the time, I assumed it was just a fluke since it was Valentine's Day and the salon was very busy with kids running around in the lobby. I truly wanted this place to work out and gave it a second chance, but unfortunately my experiences haven't been consistent. I hope they continue to grow and improve because the salon really does have potential.
