That's not necessarily a problem, but it does show a lack of recognition for repeat customers. My most recent visit was unfortunately the worst experience I've had. I originally came in the day before, but they were extremely busy and told me it would be about a 20-minute wait, so I decided to come back another day. When I returned, they actually recognized me and said, "You came back," which surprised me in a good way. I was asked to wait, then eventually asked what services I wanted. Water was run for my pedicure, but instead of starting on me, they began working on my sister's pedicure. My sister wanted both a manicure and pedicure but ended up leaving with only the pedicure done. Another customer came in requesting a pedicure and full set, and work started on her nails right away. Meanwhile, I was still sitting there waiting for a refill on my overlay with my feet soaking in cold water. Not once was I asked if the water temperature was okay. I finally spoke up and said the water was cold. Someone added a little hot water, turned it off, and walked away. I put my feet back in and it was still cold. At that point, I dried my feet, put my socks back on, and left. My biggest issue with businesses is customer service. Rushing people, being dismissive, and lacking basic courtesy is disappointing--especially when customers are paying for an experience. This was my first bad experience here, and unfortunately it will be my last. It's sad when talented businesses lose loyal customers while chasing a few extra dollars. Customer service matters. Treat people like people, not appointments to rush through.

Hell, I kept the inspo pic on my screen too. After multiple times of speaking up, I accepted my fate that this man was just gonna eff up my nails. I walked out w some fuckass Carmela Soprano nails. I called the next day to get them reshaped, and specified that I did not want Kevin. They assigned Mimi to reshape, and she did ok. She did mention that I could have spoken up during the initial service & I told her straight up like girl I absolutely did & this is what he gave me. What else am I supposed to do?? She recommended booking with her next time, lol. The owner/manager was very responsive to my concerns & rush to get my nails fixed, which I so appreciate. But at the end of the day, I did not receive the nails I requested. Because of this experience, I don't think I would return.

What I especially love and appreciate is that the tools come out from sealed autoclave bags used for sterilization (not sure how they are actually called). I think this is the only place I have gone to that does this. Especially for pedicures, this helps ease my mind to avoid toe nail fungus. I have been seen by many different technicians here and really enjoy all their work. For Hard Gel, I find that Brian does a great job every time. The place looks clean and nice. They have music videos playing in the background and I always find myself relaxed while I'm there.

During my most recent appointment, I got a gel pedicure that took about two hours. I have acrylic on both of my big toes and I mentioned ahead of time that one of them was lifting slightly. I told the technician that if it needed to be replaced, I was completely okay with that. I chose a really pretty pink color, but unfortunately it turned out to be very sheer. By the time the service was finished, you could clearly see the acrylic lifting underneath, and one of the acrylics is slightly discolored, which shows through the polish. Because of that, I'm not comfortable wearing open-toed shoes. For $65 and two hours in the chair, I left feeling really disappointed. My first visit also had some issues. I asked for Gel-X, and it seemed like it might have been the first time the technician had done that service. The nails were all slightly different shapes, and when I got home I realized a topcoat was missed on my thumb. I ended up walking around for three weeks with one nail looking different from the rest. At the time, I assumed it was just a fluke since it was Valentine's Day and the salon was very busy with kids running around in the lobby. I truly wanted this place to work out and gave it a second chance, but unfortunately my experiences haven't been consistent. I hope they continue to grow and improve because the salon really does have potential.
