This review is only for the products. I did not receive any facial services. I finally calculated how much I spent over the past 6 months on products (because I'm moving on to another more reputable brand) and I'm embarrassed to say it is about $840. My skin is not much better than where it started. In addition I developed contact dermatitis on my forehead, I'm guessing from the benzoyl peroxide, which I've used other brands of bp for years and have never gotten contact dermatitis. If it wasn't the bp it was another product from the line. It does seem like some people have had success, but I wasn't one of them. Money down the drain. read more

Anyhow, MC (Marie-Claire) doesn't just give you the most THOROUGH extractions and treatments (along with an arsenal of effective treatments) but an entire manual of guidelines to help you achieve clear skin. I'm talking, what not to eat/eat, supplements, prescriptions, detergents, you name it, she covers it. There's way too many things to list, but trust me, it's thorough. As all of us acne sufferers know, you really have to fix what's going on internally for the external treatments to really work; and MC will do everything in her power to make sure it works. Now, I'm not going to lie, I did not have complete success with the program, but that was truly due to other issues that I was dealing with. Again, if you're not able to fix what's going on internally or emotionally, then all the treatments in the world really won't make a difference. Prior to working with Marie-Claire I had been receiving laser treatments for dark spots that were also supposed to help to diminish my acne as well. At this point I had been battling with acne and dark spots for most of my late teens and all of my adult life. First of all, Marie-Claire is very passionate about her work and it shows. However, at the end of the day, results is what matters and it just didn't work for me. Her treatment requires BP regiment. Her extractions are on the aggressive side. I told her that I have sensitive skin and scar VERY easily but I felt like that wasn't considered at all. After her extractions/facials, I was red and raw for a week! and I still have the scars from her extractions from 4 months ago. It's been over a year since anyone last reviewed this place and I can see why. I wish I had researched a bit more before falling for the IG hype. Like the last reviewer from September 2018 mentioned, the products are no good. I'm not sure what chemicals are included but the products RAVISHED my skin, like, burned it to a different color. I had to follow up with a doctor. My doctor stated a lot of "skincare lines" are mass produced out of the country with no real testing by physicians or chemists for approval. These untested products are then shipped to the US in unlabled, no-name white and/or blue bottles and then any and everyone deslong in skincare just slaps their logo on it and passes it off as great a great skincare line. He could not say for sure that THIS company does the same thing and I am in no way saying that that is what she does, but my doc believes the remarkings of the bottles I had him look at are somewhat similar to what he's seen over the years. I'm no expert but my doctor is and he told me to toss the products and stay as far away from it's contents as possible. read more

I love this skin care line. Marie Claire has amazing products that work. Following her recommendation for your regime is key. I will not use any products on my face unless they are from her line. I purchased a whole system that Marie recommended to me she was helpful and responded quick when it came to that. I tried her product and not even a couple days my skin turned dark purple red, became pigmented, & extremely dry it was burned. She told me to use Vaseline to heal it but it only became worse, I ended up going to see a dermatologist and took the products with me he viewed them and advised me to never use them again and prescribed me a couple things to heal my skin, he also said the Vaseline would have never healed me. So I contacted Marie and explained to her that I had to see the dermatologist and I would no longer be able to use the $200 in products I had just purchased and if she could refund me under the circumstances. I emailed her a few times and contacted her via instagram, & heard NOTHING in response. That is not only unprofessional but screams volumes of the kind of business owner she is. I hope this can help some of you interested in her products. She will respond very quickly to you if your purchasing her items but if you have issues she will ignore you. Please Please Please don't waste 200.00 on this product. I've been using the product for 2 weeks. I don't have sensitive skin I have never had eczema. After using her products my forehead has turned black and it has created lines under my eyes. Also my skin feel like alligator skin and now it looks like rumplestiltskin from once upon a time. So as many others have commented on Marie Claire's work, I must do the same. Never having a big acne problem when I was a teenager(minor breakouts), now at 36 yrs old, I broke out horrendously this past winter (2016). The breakouts were mostly on my cheek-cystic acne at that. I was mortified, embarrassed and my self esteem was at a all time low. I tried everything from Proactive, Paulas Choice, Mario Badescu etc-spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars to help clear my skin. Nothing work.
