Initially I went in for just a pedicure but Kenny- the gentleman at the front showed me the monthly specials. I was like sure why not so, I ended up getting gel x nails as well. I should've seen the red flag when I was the only one there on a Friday late afternoon!!! The staff was friendly but the service was mediocre! My pedicure was horrible- I don't want to be rude or insult anyone but I could've done this at home. She did nothing but wash my feet and paint my toes. I had to ask her to scrub (callus remover-I paid for) the heels and the big toe (to which she only did one foot-which is the one I pointed at). I also had to ask her to repaint my nails because she hit my big toe with the gel curing light and she didn't "notice" it. GelX: the gentleman doing my nails put on nails too wide for my fingers. Which I told him but he ignored me!His gel application was messy and he had to clean up the sides several times! He did not file down the sides and barley filed my nails into a box shape when I asked for "squoval". End result: I told Kenny when he enquired about my experience that I didn't really want to complain but I was not content with the width of my nails and my pedicure. He insisted the nails have a "week warranty" which I thought was weird. I asked him for a file and I had to file the sides at home ... By Saturday (the next evening) 3 nails had fallen off and by Sunday and additional two. I basically had to remove them (which was super easy) because I can't show up to work with 5 nails missing! I sent Kenny a picture of my nails and he said to come back on Tuesday/Wednesday but I got Covid. I messaged him and I've never heard back! Save your money and go elsewhere! Then he filed my nails so much they were thin and I didn't even notice till my nails came off. HE LEFT ME WITH FIRE RINGS ON MY NAILS! I've had nail techs refuse services to me because how bad they are I even have two holes in my pinkie and index finger! If I could've gotten an infection on my nails because of this place! My pedicure turned out nice, but my manicure felt rushed despite having an appointment. Both technicians were kind at first, but I became uncomfortable due to looks and laughter during the service. I was repeatedly told to "relax," which was difficult while one person worked on my feet and another on my hands, with a pillow and an unstable LED lamp placed on top of me that I had to keep from falling. Toward the end, my mani felt rushed. I could tell the technician was getting frustrated when I asked multiple times for shorter nails, even after showing a reference photo. I asked for french tip and some of the lines were unfinished and not as good as I saw on their instagram. I didn't feel comfortable asking her to fix it because the service felt rushed and I just wanted to leave. This is my favorite nail salon they do amazing work, I used to be locked in with Jack he is so good but lately my schedule has me going to Kenny and I highly recommend them both! Their pricing is pretty average for the service but very fair for the quality. I usually retain my nails over a month every-time. Still one of my favorite places to go for my nails!! My acrylics usually lasts for a month or longer. I get new sets instead of fills each time because I don't have to go as frequently. It's because I'm busy and a bit lazy. I work in an office full time and I'm a full time student so I'm typing ALL DAY long, 7 days a week. I'm also a florist on the side so I'm working with flowers and tools like shears, knives, wire cutters, etc. My hands go through abuse every single day and my nails never gave me any problems. All I can say is I guess... I came in wanting full set oval nails. I originally wanted the cute little pearls with a red tip but they didn't have the pearls which I understand so I switched over to a chrome red with silver foil, shortly after they didn't have the silver foil and the chrome didn't work on the red so I just went simple with a red tip and a glitter underline. A little bummed but I tried to stay positive. My mom got gel nails only no extensions, acrylic, powder or anything fancy just glitter gel polish. They did have to take off her previous gel nail polish so in all I was expecting to pay no more than $100. The total came out to $116... I feel it was a bit overpriced considering my nails were very basic plus they had a 10% off and my mother getting only gel polish but like I said I guess... Also they don't take card! And the fact that they were laughing and shrugging the whole time they were doing my nails made me feel uncomfortable. I can't believe I paid $43 plus tip for this. I'm not going back.
