I spent 180.00 and got nothing for it. The technician charged me 129.00 for a diagnosis that was totally wrong. I even brought the parts for the repair for nothing as the old parts were good and he just doesnt know how to diagnos.Thed technician had an attitude like he hates his job, or he doesn't want gto be bothered. When you call SEARS you get AI because they don't want to talk to you, NO MATTER WHAT! Sears was horrible, the tech was horrible the serviice was horrible. Then he said it would cost me an additional 600.00 to repair the unit and he wanted the money upfront. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I would give them no stars if I could. I ended up fixing it myself for 150.00 and SEARS was going to charge me 250.00 for the same part and 350.00 for labor. I called Frigidare (they are awesome) and the repair clinic knew just what to do. No wonder Sears is out of business. Bottom line Don't even bother with sears. Go to the repair clinic. Sorry Sears but your appliance repair is going the same way your store went. OUT OF BUSSINESS.

The service we have received from DBH Appliance Repair has always been personal and satisfactory. I moved to the New York City 18 years ago so I cannot ask Dave to make a house call anymore. Yet, I still have his number in my phone so I continue to call for appliance repair help when I need it. My Frigidaire oven stopped heating last night so I called Dave and described the issue. He walked me through the troubleshooting and suggested looking at the solder joints on the control board relays. We also talked about suggestions for a replacement stove in case the repair failed. I unscrewed the board and was able to find a solder joint that looked burned. A quick touch with a hot soldering iron, I put it back together and the dad-gum thing worked! After making an appointment with someone else, someone I assume is Roger called me finally. The call did not go well. I stated: well, sir I never got a call back from you, so I arranged an appointment with someone else. He claimed I didn't leave a message. I said I did, yesterday... He then said "Oh, yeah...I was just about to call you back about that"...to which I responded, I needed the work done, and 20 hours had passed. He then said he didn't respond because I left the message "after hours"... I pointed out: I left the message at 10AM the previous day. He then acquiesced and stubbornly said "have a nice day". If you want business, return messages. If you want business, make sure you have a single phone number people can reach you at. (there's about 3 for this guy if you search the web)...but most importantly, if you want business...don't argue with a potential customer, or make excuses. Part of being in the service business, or any business is the skill of knowing when to own your mistakes. This was a pretty ridiculous experience.

A small creature had fried itself on the pressure switch ( my pressure tank is sunk in a pit outside) and the guys replaced the switch at reasonable cost. It appeared all was well. When the breaker switch randomly started flipping off, they realized the switch had become compromised. They installed a new one and all is Well. They know their business. They respond quickly and are very courteous and customer service oriented. Highly recommend them.

The igniter broke, so they replaced it. So far so good. However, the furnace made a loud noise whenever it fired up.
