However, recently, have been so impressed with AutoZone as a company, primarily because of the assistance and customer service of Brandon A. He is not only professional and of great assistance in knowing the product line, but also in installing them. He is kind and unpatronizing and patient. When something is not available or not appropriate, he is able to provide answers or will take the time to look up what might work. Brings a great degree of excellence, customer service, and more importantly, knows how to engage customers to consider things that they might not know. But I am also impressed with his ability to get along with his colleagues, assist them when needed, and his knowledge of AutoZone's offerings. He alerted me to the reward service and how to use AutoZone. A real asset to the company and this store. I hope he has a long history with AutoZone. His management, customer service, and knowledge about parts and alternatives are the best I have seen in sales of auto parts . I look forward to being a steady customer of this AutoZone just for his service alone. He certainly rates among the top service people I have encountered in many retail industries as well as seems to have a sense of integrity, knowledge of finance and product lines! Good work, AutoZone - Brandon is a keeper and will add tremendous value to you. I'm a new dedicated and satisfied customer! Jacquie Kay

It has all the essentials you'll need to do basic repairs to your car, and if you have more in-depth work and parts are needed , you can always call ahead and they will see if they have it in stock. Should they not have the particular part you need, they will be more than happy to get that part for you from another one of their locations. They always have specials going on for oil changes, 5 quarts of oil and a filter for your car can be bought in a bundle, saving you somewhere between $8 to $10. The reason for my visit today was to change the oil to my car. Being that I regularly change my own oil, I knew the exact filter model I needed and oil type for my car. Unfortunately, today it seemed like there was not a lot of inventory on the shelves, as a good part of the shelf was empty of oil filters. I went to the front desk to try to see if there were any additional stock outback. I was greeted with a staff member who was eager to help, but with English being his second language, we were having some issues communicating back-and-forth. We were eventually able to pull up a list of inventory of filters that would be compatible for my car that should be in stock in the store. (Said it had that "one" in stock, but no where to be found) After literally going through each row and looking at each box, I was finally able to find that "ONE" filter that would fit my car. (It was mis placed....off course) The staff did his best to help and tried to seek alternative makes of the filter for my car and went as far as trying to find other locations that would have the filter. Definitely I suggest that if you are planning to do any type of repairs to your car, always call ahead to see if they have the parts you need in stock before you make the drive over there. Something even as simple as an oil change can become rather bothersome if you go there and realize they don't have that oil filter.

I told him (1996) and he said the Dex/Merc should be fine. I took another look at the bottle on the shelf, and I said that it wasn't the right kind. I was looking for a different type of fluid called Mercon V. The shopkeeper responded, "Hey, you're the expert. I've only been doing this for 31 years." It turns out he was right; both types of fluid would work in my car. But I would have appreciated it if he had explained that instead of sarcastically dismissing me. All he could have said was, "Actually, Dex/Merc meets the same requirements as Mercon V. I know it's really confusing with all the different names, but that stuff is definitely fine to put in your car." Instead, he showed poor attention to detail and some insecurity. His remark implied that he didn't have to prove anything to me... but ironically, he did anyway.

I've witnessed this not only first hand but also seen other customers who were actually waiting for service. Purchased wheels and it was a month long process (other places a week). Communication throughout was horrible and unprofessional. The owner tells you to call or come in on certain days and when you do, he looks at you like you have 3 heads or like your bothering him when your only doing what he asked. He is often frustrated and has no tact for communication. After the process he blocked me from contacting by phone so I had to show up in person for a simple question. They (Eddie) make it so difficult to do simple business. If you want custom work I'd use another place with more experience in the actual work rather than just the sales pitch. Mind you this is a review from someone that has known them for many years (never done business until this purchase) and never did I expect this experience.
