We thought we had one raccoon living under our home, which turned out to be a mama and her two raccoon babies. Kevin responded to our call within the night, he was also very personable. He came by the next morning to set a trap, and he also fixed our vents. Once he discovered there were babies underneath our home, he went under there himself to see if he could lure the mother out. The rocky/gravel crawl space under our house made it difficult for Kevin to catch her, plus she was a very stubborn mama raccoon. He was able to retrieve the baby raccoons. The mother returned that night to retrieve one of her babies, but chose not to come back for the other one. I appreciated that Kevin showed care for the raccoon, and was able to take it with him. His rates were very reasonable considering our particular case was inconvenient. We will definitely be calling Kevin if we are in need of animal trapping in the future. read more

THE BEST!!! Call Active Animal Trapping BEFORE YOU CALL ANYONE ELSE - I was assigned the responsibility of helping my boss and his family deal with a skunk situation at their home. A large hole kept appearing by their front door step and they would frequently smell skunks when they were inside their house. I worked with a different trapping company at first and while they were perfectly nice, they ended up being a waist of time and money. I had to do all of the following up and all they did was set one trap up next to the hole. The trap caught just about everything BUT a skunk, yet the skunk smell and hole kept coming back and the trapping company assured me the hole was made by a skunk. I tried calling a very big pest control company that was ridiculously expensive and their customer service was terrible. They haggled me over the phone and they felt very untrustworthy. Finally, I found Kevin and could not have been happier with his service! He was prompt to call me back and answered all of my questions prior to providing any service. He explained to me what he thought the best solutions were after I explained the situation to him and before making me commit to paying him. And he guarantees his work, which is a great peace of mind to me since this was for my boss. Most of all, his solutions were helpful and went beyond just setting up a trap! He actually built a box to surround the trap and the hole so that the animal couldn't get in or out without going into the trap. We had some critter activity in our crawl space, called a few places to get quotes and Kevin was quick to respond. He asked a couple of questions and noticed how concern I was and came over within 30 mins of my call. He inspected the surrounding, found the entry point and determined it could be a raccoon. He crawled underneath the house and found a raccoon mom and her babies. He took pic and video to show me his findings. The raccoon was in such a tight space that she couldn't be reached, so Kevin sprayed the area with a scent that would drive her away. We left the entry point open to allow her to leave and waited a few days. Kevin followed up every day to check on the activity and came back 3 days later to re-inspect the crawl space and she was gone. We are so glad to have found Active Animal Trapping! Kevin was AMAZING! He should have his own reality show because he is fun to watch. From the beginning I could tell he was a professional. He spent about 10 minutes patiently listening and asking detailed questions about our persistent raccoon problem in our attic. But the giveaway that Kevin is a whole other level of wildlife whisperer was when, over the phone, he made raccoon noises from baby to adult sounds in order for me to tell him whether we had a nest or adult animals in our attic. He made time to come out that day for a thorough inspection, promptly went to work identifying possible entry points and then sealing it using materials he had with him in his truck.
