I NEVER leave reviews but this auto body shop is the exception. I went in for an estimate solely based off the reviews. I didn't do any work on my vehicle here but I did get an estimate and let me tell you why I gave them 5 stars I had an accident where 3 of my vehicles were parked and hit by another driver. There was extensive damage. We are positive there is unseen damage to the frame and other parts that can't been seen until the part is disassembled. Policy limits were reached and one vehicle was left to be paid by us out of pocket. Which we informed the gentleman, Javier who was giving us our estimate. I had been to a few other body shops, one being anchor body in Sunnyvale, that was 3 weeks ago and I made two phone calls to them and haven't still heard back. And the other shops just are lacking in communication. That's when I decided to come here from looking at the reviews. He looked over our vehicle, answered all of our questions honestly, provided a FAST quote. He gave us the most accurate quote out of all the body shops. From my knowledge ( which is very little but some) I thought to repair our car would be around 9-10k. The other shops were giving us quotes much lower, which I know when we take the vehicle in for repair they will just add all the other repairs on. With the estimate from Javier I felt it has the most all ready added on to it in terms of repairs( which is why his quote was a lot higher than other places). I asked him why we were having such a difficult time with other shops, and he explained to us that because we are paying out of pocket, not through insurance and there is alot of damage shops are hesitant to take the work because how it will be paid and hidden damage that needs to be done, which made absolute sense! Based off of his advice and estimate we decided it would be best to sell our vehicle, which he told us to post on Craigslist ( which I didn't even think of because of all the damage) and sure enough we sold in within 3 days for around the price he told us we could get for it. We even called after we left to ask a few more personal opinions regarding our situation and he answered them for us! While we didn't do an work with active auto body, just getting an estimate with them was a fast, easy and informative experience ( which the other shops were like pulling teeth) but I would HIGHLY recommend this shop and will be coming here for future work! And the office is super cute decor so it's nice to look at while your waiting :) read more

Wow! Customer service above and beyond! The cable that raises and lowers my driver side window snapped after 8 years so the window was stuck in the down position. Javier and his team were super responsive. I called on a Monday morning to get the part and it was installed Wednesday morning for a reasonable price. But wait, there's more - I hadn't washed my car in several months and my car had dirt, wildfire ash and dog slobber covering the exterior - it was so gross. She answered all my questions and took care of everything I needed. I would only choose to go to them again here in Santa Clara county. I realized my hitch was also gone after they fixed my vehicle, whether it was the person who tried stealing my truck or the tow company who towed it away while I waited for a boy shop to open, I called her because even if she couldn't take care of it I new she would be nice enough to direct me to the place I needed to go. They were professional, informative and extremely resourceful. I recall them being extremely friendly and forth coming with additional information that helped me understand the situation of my car. I had to get my bumper replaced and went in for a maintenance after checking out their reviews on yelp. I recently bought a front lip for my 2018 BMW M3 and needed to get it painted gloss black. Pretty basic job for any Autobody shop. I got quotes from 4 different shops and Active was right in the middle. The reason I ended up going to AAB was because of Desiree's communication. She was basically instant at answering questions via the Yelp Messaging app and was able to get me in 3 days earlier than she originally quoted to fit my schedule. The lip came out great (again pretty simple job) but the friendliness from everyone at AAB really won me over. They also warranty their work so that is just the cherry on top. I moved up about a year ago and I knew I needed to replace my bumper guard (aka lower shield and fender liner) but I didn't want to spend $$$ at the dealer. Fast forward to last week when I let my friend drive my car and they under estimated the parking block and ripped my bumper guard off. So now it became crucial to get it fixed because it was scraping my from tires. I urgently called Active and spoke to the receptionist, I explained my dilemma and she made it happen for me to be able to come in the same day to get the broken piece removed while Javier ordered my replacement parts! Like many others, I visited Active Auto Body after being rear-ended. State Farm recommended this shop, and honestly I couldn't be happier. From start to finish, the communication and clarity has been top notch. I selected Active Auto Body as my shop, and before I could even call and follow up, Christine called ME! We set a time and date depending on my schedule. About 24 hours after my drop-off appointment, Javier, my repair specialist, called and left a message about the repairs required. He gave me a finish-date, and it was 100% accurate. As soon as I picked up my car, the team told me in very clear terms that if I had any complaints, call ASAP. Unfortunately, I did have a complaint. My accident really messed up my car's exhaust system, and as a result, the noise the exhaust/engine made was way louder than I remembered. I took in the car after calling, and within 25 minutes, Javier acknowledged the issue and fixed it. Somebody did a hit-and-run on my vehicle and I called Active Auto Body for repairs. I spoke to Javier and felt pretty comfortable dealing with him. After that I dropped by with the car to get estimated timeline for repairs. The backdoor of my van was not closing after the incident. Javier helped pulling out the damaged back panel and my car was drive-able on the same day. I could not have done this myself and this was a big help for me. So after some piece of trash low-life stole my catalytic converter, I decided to take it to Active Auto Body to get this replaced. My decision was driven by their high ratings on Yelp, and that they were in my insurance company's network. In short, they did not disappoint at all, and performed well beyond my expectations!! I worked with Lupe, as she explained the replacement process to replace this (it's not straightforward). She coordinated my busy schedule, the tow truck, the company they had to work with, and all the insurance. When I picked up my car, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they also took the time to wash it, and detail the interior! They also were able to put a Cat Shield on, which helps protect the catalytic converter from theft. When I first drove it, I did hear some metal scraping/rattling noise. I immediately took it back, and Eduardo dropped what he was doing to help solve this. We went for a drive so he could hear it, then he immediately started to work on it. Within ~30 mins, they diagnosed the problem (it needed spacers between the Cat Shield and Converter to prevent rubbing/scraping). Since then, the car has been driving perfectly. I'm very impressed with the team at Active Auto Body. Although I hope I never need to have to repair damage/theft from my car, but if I do, I will definitely be calling Active Auto Body. Great customer service! My side view mirror got smashed and after great reviews on yelp, I reached out to Active Auto body and they were very responsive. I bought my own side mirror online and took my car to them to get it installed and they took care of me right away. Unfortunately, the side mirror I bought was not compatible electrical-wise but they still installed it free of charge! My side mirrors are no longer power controlled and heated because of my mistake but at least the old one is no longer dangling and duct-taped. Javier was very nice and personable. Being in a car accident is no fun but Active Auto Body seriously made the process of getting it repaired easy from beginning to end. I was side swiped by another motorist who had State Farm in which they admitted fault. I was given a list of "preferred shops" to pick from and of course given the option to choose my own shop not on the list. I went with Active Auto Body which was on their list mainly because they had a lifetime guarantee on their work and high yelp reviews. I did a drop in for an estimate in which Javier was able to quickly evaluate and assess the cost of my damages. I agreed to go with them in which they gave me an appointment of when to drop off my car ensuring they will have parts to make the repair process go by faster. They work with Hertz so they were able to have a rental car for me the same time I dropped off my car. They were able to get my car back to me within 3 days, looking brand spanking new! I've had other horror stories about friends who had their car in the shops for weeks or even months! I think they way they plan and schedule repairs helps reduce the amount of time you are without a car or driving around in a rental. The only thing I wished was different was that I got a call on Wednesday saying my car would be ready sometime on Friday. When Friday came around, I called in at 2pm asking if I should still anticipate my car to be ready that day. I got a call back saying it was in the detail phase and it should be ready by 3:30pm but they close at 5:30pm. I wished that I would've gotten an call earlier in the day so I could've better planned things out and coordinate pickup. Although they were able to work it out where I did a drop off Monday morning because there was no way I would make it on time Friday to pick up in that crazy traffic. read more

I absolutely love the customer service here. We had 2 different claims from 2 insurance companies and they did their best to meet our needs as efficiently as possible. They also kept us up to date about the status of our car weekly, which I greatly appreciated. Even though their office was closing and almost all Enterprise locations were closing/already closed, they tried their best to get us a rental car. These people absolutely care about their customers. Customer service is definitely a 5/5. Quality of the repairs were more of a 4.5/5 due to a minor paint defect when we went to pick up the car. They did attempt to correct the problem ASAP, but it's still visible. They do warranty their work, but we couldn't afford to leave the vehicle for another day since we were paying for our rental out of pocket. It's not much a big deal though.. TLDR: Excellent Service and Repair! I got into a small car accident and found this body shop from the certified vendor list of State Farm insurance. I can't really comment/rate on the price because the other person hit me, so the repair was all paid for by his insurance. However, their service was excellent. Lisa, the lady who helped me with the rental car was super nice and responsible. Because they were super busy, my car repair appointment was scheduled 2 weeks after my first visit. But I think it's totally worth the wait. They helped me process all the paperwork for the collision claim, and set up a reminder for my service. The rental car was cleaned well before they gave it to me. Originally I was supposed to return the car back to them on Friday, however, I was caught up with work and Lisa was so nice to offer an additional day for my return for free. That's absolutely above and beyond! That way, I didn't need to rush for the return during peak traffic. The staff were very professional and informative, as they explained what happened and which parts have been fixed. The entire experience was really pleasant. For sure, I would recommend to family and friends if they ever need an auto body shop. The repair was great and my car looked new. My $2,700 car wash: true story. A woman in a Tesla SUV, likely with poor visibility, backed into my Lexus at a Trader Joe's parking lot. I contacted my insurance company, State Farm twice, without getting much help. But having been through this problem before, I knew the body shop I wanted to work with. They're part of State Farm's network, which might make payments go easier. The folks at Active are quite pleasant. All of my in-person and phone conversations with 4 people were very pleasant and customer-service oriented. They repaired my car, a day earlier than promised. When I went to pick up my car the entire car looked brand new. Washed, appeared to be waxed, and Armor All on the tires, the windshield was so clear it looks like it's been removed, and the light beige driver's door threshold, which had been very scuffed up, was clean. The work on my rear fender and door, was as clean and shiny as the rest of the car. I asked the guy where the paint lines were. I could see no difference between the old paint and their new paint job. So, excellent bodywork. But what was most charming was that the car was in better condition, washed, waxed, Armor All, than it is when I go to a professional car wash and get it washed and hand waxed. (You need to step it up Lozano's car wash.) I wouldn't recommend getting in an fender bender or paying $2,700 for a car wash, but I think this reflects the charm, the customer service, and the attitude, of the people at Active Auto Body. This one of the amazing experience i had 4 months back. The front bumper of my mercedes C300 got removed while parking my car over the stopper. I went to some big repair body shop and they quoted 2000$ to replace the whole part and said it cannot be fixed without replacing the whole new part. I came to Active auto body and the guy(dont remember his name, but he was awesome) said, just let me take a look and said give me 15 mins. I waited in the lobby and he came back with fixing the whole thing. When I asked, how much money do i need to pay, he said its OK, its was not that big work. He was an amazing guy.
